Failure to read, understand and follow the following information can
result in serious personal injury, damage to the equipment or voiding of the warranty.

CAUTION:
To avoid an unstable condition, place heavier components at the
bottom of the enclosure. When more than one component is placed in the enclosure, begin
at the bottom of the enclosure and place equipment at the lowest available point, evenly
distribute weight (horizontally) within the enclosure.
Component weight should be distributed as follows:
o2/3 of the total component weight (at a minimum) placed in the bottom
third of the cabinet.
o1/3 of the total component weight (at a maximum) placed in the middle
third of the cabinet.
o1/3 of the total component weight (at a maximum) placed in the top third
of the cabinet.
ATTENTION: Pour éviter un état instable, placez composants les plus lourds au
fond de l'enceinte. Lorsque plus d'un composant est placé dans la enceinte,
commencer par le bas de l'enceinte et placer l'équipement à la point le plus bas

weight of the cabinet fully loaded with equipment.

CAUTION: Some parts of the enclosure system may not be effectively bonded to
the Protective Earth Terminal (PET). If these parts need to be bonded to the PET it should
be done in accordance with Article 250 of the National Electrical Code.

CAUTION: Power cord(s), for fans or other accessories, need to be secured to
ensure that they are routed away from pinch points and moving parts.

CAUTION: Use caution when moving the cabinets with casters installed. There is a
possibility of tilting. Always move cabinet over smooth floor surfaces and a short distance
only. The enclosure should only be moved by pushing on the front or rear of the cabinet.
DO NOT push from the side.

CAUTION: Casters (if used) are not intended to support excessive cabinet loads for
extended periods of time. Please refer to caster base instruction sheet for recommended
weight capacity. Always use levelers to stabilize the cabinet after locating.

have sufficient amount of personnel and equipment to safely move this product.

CAUTION:The following parts are not effectively bonded to the protective earth
terminal: Rackrails, lace bars, Lever Lock™, shelving, baffles, blank panels, and cable
management equipment. If any part needs to be bonded to the protective earth terminal
it shall be done in accordance with Article 250 of the National Electrical Code.

protection: crémaillères, aiguilles, barres de dentelle, Lever Lock™, étagères, des chicanes,
des panneaux vierges, et l'équipement de gestion des câbles. Si une partie doit être lié à la
borne de terre de protection il doit être fait conformément à l'article 250 du Code national de
l'électricité.

SPECIFICATIONS
Heights: 24 RU to 45 RU (each RU = 1.75”)
Widths: 24”, 27” and 30”
Depths: 36”, 42” and 48”
Load Ratings: Minumum 225 lb., Maximum 3,000 lb. static load rating
1,600 lbs. with casters for positioning into place
•Enclosure is intended for use in ambient temperatures of 0oC to 60oC.
GENERAL INFORMATION
-Front Doors: Full width doors, can be hinged on the left or right of the rack
frame. Ensure door is bonded to enclosure frame.
-Rear Doors: Split rear doors that are the full width of the enclosure. Ensure
each door is bonded to the enclosure frame.
-Side Panels:Two lockable panels on each side of the enclosure frame. All
panels are bonded to the rack frame.
-Top Options: Enclosure tops are in multiple sections to allow for different
configurations. Each section must be bonded to the rack frame.
-Casters: Casters are provided to maneuver the enclosure (which may be
partially loaded, see specifications) to the desired location. Once located, rack
levelers MUST be used to stabilize the rack. Adjust the leveling feet to level
and stabilize the cabinet before fully loading equipment in the enclosure.

GROUNDING AND BONDING
IMPORTANT NOTE: Installation of protective earthing conductors must be made in
accordance with the National Electric Code, ANSI/NFPA 70.
1. Locate the protective earth terminals on the bottom of the frame (either front or
rear) of the enclosure. These terminals are marked with the protective earth
symbol -
2. Secure protective earth conductors per Article 250 of the National Electric Code.
3. Enclosure accessory parts, which may be bonded to the frame, contain or will be
provided with bonding points and appropriate bonding conductors/terminals.
4. When removing any bonded accessory for servicing the enclosure, make sure to
disconnect the bonding terminal from the accessory. NOTE: The bonding
terminal MUST be reconnected to the accessory when the part is replaced after
servicing.
