IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
1. This steamer is intended for household use only and NOT for commercial
or industrial use.
2. Only use the steamer indoors and keep the area you are cleaning well lit.
3. Keep ngers, hair and loose clothing away from moving parts and
openings whilst
using the steamer.
4. This steamer can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved.
5. Children shall not play with the steamer. Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be made by children without supervision.
6. Please refer to oor manufactures care recommendations before use,
and test your ooring/carpet/rugs by running the steamer over a small
hidden area, if no pile distortion or no damage occurs continue cleaning.
Not suitable for use on wax polished oors or furniture, acrylic surfaces and
synthetic, velvet or steam/water sensitive materials.
7. This steamer should not be used to clean electrical appliances such as
microwaves, televisions and electrical heating systems etc.
8. Do not touch any hot areas/accessories on your steamer. It’s normal for the
steamer and accessories to heat up during use, always allow them to cool
down before handling.
9. Do not leave the steamer turned on when unattended.
10. Don’t use the steamer if it has been dropped, damaged, immersed in
water or left outdoors.
11. Do not run over the power cord or use steamer if the power cord or plug
is damaged.
11. Don’t use the power cord as a handle, pull the power cord around corners
or sharp

edges or close a door over the power cord. Don’t unplug the steamer by
pulling on the power cord.
12. Do not handle the plug or use the steamer with wet hands. Don’ t pull or
carry the steamer by the power cord.
13. Donot attempt to remove blockages with sharp objects as this may cause
damage to the steamer, remove blockages only as instructed in this guide.
14. Do not aim the steam cleaner at people, animals, plants and electrical
components or wires. Never touch the steam jet (there is a risk of scalding).
15. Don’t use the steamer with incorrect voltage as this may result in damage
or injury to the user. The correct voltage is listed on the rating label.
16. Do not use the steamer to clean or refresh any items of clothing that are
still being worn on the body.
17. Always ll the water tank with water only. Never add perfume, stain
remover or products containing alcohol.
18. Filling the water tank with hot or boiling water will damage the steamer
and invalidate the guarantee.
19. Always vacuum your carpets thoroughly and ensure hard oor areas are
free from grit and debris before using your steamer.
20. Always unplug the steamer before carrying out any maintenance.
21. Turn o all controls on the steamer before disconnecting or connecting
the power cord, after use always wrap the power cord around the cord clips
provided.
22. Take extra care when cleaning on the stairs.
23. Always replace the fuse in the plug with a British 13amp fuse. Always
protect the power cord from heated surfaces or near open ames.
24. Use only CE approved 13amp extension cords, non-approved extension
cords can overheat. Care should be taken to arrange the extension cord as it
could be a trip hazard.
25. Store the steamer in a cool, dry area away from children. Before storing
the steamer please make sure all water/detergent tanks are thoroughly
clean.

Before You Begin
Warning: Danger of scalding
The steamer and accessories get very hot during use, always allow them
to cool down before handling.Always unplug and switch o the steamer
when assembling. Always switch o the steamer before emptying the
water tank or changing the pads/accessories.
Important: Please refer to oor manufacturers care recommendations
before use and test the steamer on a hidden
• area of ooring to begin with. Test for color fastness in a small hidden area
of upholstery/fabric to check for color removal before use.
•When using the steamer, basic safety precautions should always be
observed. Don’t aim the steamer at people, animals, plants and electrical
components or wires. Never touch the steam jet or oor head from a
short distance (there is a risk of scalding). The steamer is equipped with a
thermostat and a thermal cut-out. If for any reason the steamer overheats it
will switch o . If this happens turn o and unplug the steamer, allow to cool
for a least 2 to 4 hours and re-try.

Important: If you don’t want to use detergent on your ooring, press the
detergent pedal to OFF position. Always test on an inconspicuous area of
ooring rst before using detergent. Don’t over ll the clean water\detergent
tank or exceed the maximum amount required. Don’t use the steam cleaner
without water in the water tank. Always top up with water in good time.
Warning: Always unplug the steam cleaner when tting the pads.
Important: Never use the steam cleaner without a cleaning pad attached to
the oor head. Never leave the steam cleaner on one spot for an extended
period of time or with a damp or wet pad attached as this may damage the
oor surface.
