Inbetriebnahme der MINOX CD 112
Anbringen des Trageriemens
Bitte die kleine Schlaufe des Trageriemens durch
die Öse am Kamerakörper schieben. Dann das
Ende des Trageriemens durch o. g. kleine Schlaufe
fädeln und so festziehen, daß sich die entstandene
Schlinge fest um die Öse am Kamerakörper legt.

Fixation de la courroie
Faites glisser la petite boucle de la courroie par
l’oeillet situé sur le corps de l’appareil. Puis enfilez
le bout de la courroie par cette même petite
boucle et serrez jusqu’à ce qu’un noeud coulant se
forme autour de l’oeillet de l’appareil.

Attaching the carrying strap
Thread the small loop of the carrying strap
through the eyelet on the camera body. Pass the
other end of the carrying strap through the loop
and pull tightly. Adjust the strap until it wraps
firmly around the eyelet on the camera body.

Einlegen der Batterie
Den Batteriefachdeckel (19) öffnen Sie durch
Entriegelung des Batteriefachs mit dem am Trage-
riemen befindlichen Dorn. Beim Einlegen der Batte-
rie achten Sie bitte auf eine korrekte Ausrichtung
des Plus- und Minuspols. Nun können Sie den
Deckel wieder schließen, so daß dieser deutlich
hörbar einrastet. Bei frischer Batterie erscheint das
Batteriesymbol komplett schwarz.
Hinweise:
– Minustemperaturen können die Batterieleistung
beeinträchtigen. Bitte schützen Sie Ihre MINOX
CD112 deshalb vor extremer Kälte.
– Nach einem Batteriewechsel wird eine erneute
Einstellung von Datum und/oder Uhrzeit not-
wendig (gilt nur für Modell mit Datenrückwand).
– Erschöpfte Batterien dürfen niemals ins Feuer
geworfen werden! Auch kurzgeschlossene,
geöffnete und erhitzte Batterien stellen eine
Gefahr dar und können Personenschäden verur-
sachen.
– Batterien sind kein Spielzeug und sollten deshalb
für Kinder unzugänglich aufbewahrt werden.
Wird eine Batterie verschluckt, suchen Sie bitte
unverzüglich einen Arzt auf!

Mise en place de la pile
Ouvrez d’abord le couvercle du compartiment pour
pile (19) à l’aide de l’ardillon situé sur la courroie.
Lorsque vous placez la pile, veillez au positionne-
ment correct des pôles positif et négatif. Vous pou-
vez maintenant appuyer sur le couvercle jusqu’à ce
que celui-ci s’enclenche. Après l’insertion d’une
pile neuve, le symbole d’affichage de l’état de la
pile est complètement noir.
Important:
–
Les températures inférieures à zéro peuvent entra-
ver la performance de la pile. Veillez donc à proté-
ger votre MINOX CD112 contre un froid extrême.
– Si vous travaillez avec le MINOX CD112 équipé
d’un dos-dateur, il est nécessaire d’effectuer un
nouveau réglage de la date et/ou de l’heure
après un changement de pile.
– Ne pas jeter les piles usagées dans le feu! Les
piles court-circuitées, démontées ou chauffées
représentent également un danger et peuvent
occasioner des dommages corporels.
– Les piles ne sont pas des jouets et doivent être
conservées hors de la portée des enfants. En cas
d’avalement d’une pile, consulter immédiate-
ment un médecin!

Installing the battery
Open the battery chamber (19) by releasing the
cover using the pin on the carrying strap. Insert
the battery, making sure that the plus (+) and
minus (-) ends are correctly positioned. Press
down the battery chamber cover until it clicks
into position. When a new battery has been
installed, the battery power indicator will appear
solid black.
Note:
– Keep your MINOX CD112 as warm as possible
when using it under temperature conditions of
below zero.
– With the MINOX CD112 data back camera,
you must reset the date and/or the time each
time you replace the battery.
– Do not throw empty batteries into open fire!
Short-circuited, disassembled or heated batte-
ries are dangerous and can cause injuries.
– Batteries are no toys and must be kept away
from children. If a battery is swallowed, consult
a doctor immediately.

Prüfen der Batteriespannung
Die Batterieleistung ist voll ausreichend.
Um die Batterie zu schonen, empfehlen wir die
Kamera nach der Benutzung stets auszuschalten.
Die Abschaltautomatik der MINOX CD112 hilft
außerdem beim Stromsparen. Etwa drei Minuten
nach dem letzten Bedienungsvorgang schaltet sich
die Kamera automatisch ab (Sleep-Modus).
Die Batterieleistung ist schwach. Sie sollten die Bat-
terie wechseln.
Nach Möglichkeit sollte dieser Wechsel erst nach
vollständiger Belichtung und Rückspulung des ein-
gelegten Films erfolgen.
Die Leistung der Batterie ist erschöpft. Die Batterie
muß gewechselt werden. Die Meldung kann
jedoch auch durch verschmutzte Batteriekontakte
verursacht worden sein. In diesem Fall sollten die
Kontakte mit einem sauberen, trockenen und fus-
selfreien Tuch gereinigt werden.

Vérification du voltage de la pile
La puissance de la pile est tout à fait suffisante.
Pour économiser la pile, il est recommandé de tou-
jours éteindre l’appareil après l’utilisation. Afin
d’économiser la pile, votre MINOX CD112 est
muni d’un système de mise hors circuit automa-
tique. Environ trois minutes après la dernière mani-
pulation l’appareil s’éteint (mode „veille“).
Le voltage est faible; un changement de pile est
conseillé. Si possible, changer de pile seulement
après que le film a été entièrement exposé et rem-
bobiné.
La pile est épuisée; elle doit être remplacée. Toute-
fois, le signal peut avoir été déclenché par des
contacteurs de pile salis. Dans ce cas, nettoyez les
contacteurs au moyen d’un chiffon propre et sec et
qui ne peluche pas.

Checking the battery
The battery is fully charged.
In order to save battery power, we recommend
keeping the camera switched off when not in
use. The automatic switch-off feature of the
MINOX CD 112 helps you to save power. It swit-
ches off the camera approximately three minutes
after the last operation (sleep mode).
Battery power is low; replace battery. If possible,
replace the battery after the film has been fully
exposed and rewound.
Battery is empty and must be replaced. This rea-
ding can also result from poor battery contacts.
In this case, clean battery contacts using a clean
and dry lint-free cloth.

Einlegen des Films
Zunächst die Rückwand mit der Entriegelung (22)
öffnen und aufklappen. Bitte achten Sie darauf,
daß ein möglicherweise in der Kamera befindlicher
Film zurückgespult ist.
Nun den Film in die Filmkammer einlegen und den
Filmanfang aus der Patrone ziehen. Legen Sie den
Filmanfang an die Markierung „Film Tip“ im Inne-
ren der Kamera und ziehen Sie ihn ganz über die
Aufwickelspule. Achten Sie bitte darauf, daß der
Film flach aufliegt. Nun können Sie die Kamera
schließen; der Film wird automatisch zum ersten
Bild vorgespult.
Im LCD-Datenfeld (4) erscheint im Bildzählwerk (a)
die Anzeige „I“. Ihre MINOX CD112 ist nun auf-
nahmebereit. Ist der Film fehlerhaft eingelegt,
erscheint im Bildzählwerk eine blinkende „0“, die
nach ca. 5 Sekunden erlischt. Die Kamera bitte
nochmals öffnen und den Film wie bereits
beschrieben einlegen.
Anmerkung:
Bei DX-codierten Filmen stellt sich die Kamera im
Bereich zwischen ISO 25/15° und ISO 3200/36°
automatisch auf die Filmempfindlichkeit ein. Nicht
DX-codierte Filme werden mit ISO 25/15° belichtet.

Mise en place du film
Ouvrez entièrement le dos de l’appareil au moyen
du dispositif de déverrouillage (22). Si un film se
trouve encore dans l’appareil, veillez à l’avoir rem-
bobiné avant d’ouvrir.
Introduisez le film dans l’emplacement prévu et
tirez la languette du film qui dépasse. Appliquez-la
sur le repère „Film Tip“ à l’intérieur de l’appareil et
tirez-la jusqu’à recouvrir entièrement la bobine
réceptrice. Vérifiez lors de cette opération que le
film repose bien à plat. Vous pouvez maintenant
refermer l’appareil; le film est automatiquement
entraîné jusqu’à la premiere photo.
Le compteur (a) - inclus dans l’écran de contrôle
ACL (4) - affiche „I“.Votre MINOX CD112 est alors
prêt à l’emploi. Si le film a été mal placé, le comp-
teur affiche „0“. Ouvrez l’appareil et insérez le film
de nouveau comme décrit ci-dessus.
Important:
Si vous utilisez des films codés DX, l’appareil effec-
tue automatiquement le réglage de la sensibilité du
film dans un domaine ISO allant de 25/15° à
3200/36°. Les films non codés DX sont réglés sur
ISO 25/15°.

Loading the film
Before opening the camera back, make sure that
the film in the camera is properly rewound. Press
the camera back release button (22); the camera
back will pop open.
Drop the film into the film chamber and pull the
film leader out of the cartridge. Place the film
leader on the ”Film Tip“ mark inside the camera
and pull the film entirely over the take-up spool,
making sure that the film does not buckle. Close
the camera back; the film will automatically
advance to the first frame.
An ”I“ will appear in the frame counter (a) on
the LCD display (4). Your MINOX CD112 is now
ready for use. If a ”0“ blinks in the frame coun-
ter, your film has not been loaded properly. This
indication will disappear after approximately 5
seconds. Repeat the procedure described above.
Note:
Your camera automatically adjusts to DX-coded
films ranging from ISO 25/15° to ISO 3200/36°.
Films without DX-coding will be automatically set
to ISO 25/15°.
