WIRING DIAGRAMINSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING
This unit MUST be installed on a dedicated grounded circuit. Do not remove ground prong. If the cord or
plug is damaged, replace with the same type. Refrigeration and electrical work must be performed by a
qualified technician. Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, fire, or electrical shock.
• DO NOT USE AN EXTENSION CORD
• DO NOT CUT, REMOVE OR BYPASS THE GROUNDING PRONG FROM THE PLUG
• DO NOT PLUG INTO AN OUTLET CONTROLLED BY A WALL SWITCH
• ENSURE POWER CORD IS NOT CUT OR DAMAGED FROM PINCHING, KNOTTING, OR MISHANDLING
POWER REQUIREMENTS: A 15 Amp dedicated and properly grounded 115V circuit with a
NEMA 5-15P receptacle is required. Wiring should be sized according to the amperage rating
stated on the serial plate. Failure to use a dedicated circuit may cause the circuit breaker to
trip off and/or cause voltage drops. As a result, power to the unit may be interrupted and
freezing performance can be adversely affected which may cause equipment damage
and/or product loss.
Voltage supply to the unit must not vary more than ±10% of the nominal voltage, or performance may be
affected. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from excessive voltage variations.
NEMA 5-15
CABINET LOCATION: An air space of at least 6” must be maintained on all sides of the unit. Do not
install the unit in a warm unventilated room that exceeds 80oF; do not place unit in direct sunlight; do
not place unit under or near heat range or heating vent.
CASTER BRAKES: Once the unit is placed in position, the two caster brakes should be locked to help
prevent movement. This is done by pushing down on the locking lever.
NOTICE:
Failure to follow these instructions may void the warranty and/or cause loss of product.
Connect the unit to the power supply as outlined in power requirements. The compressor and condenser
fan will start immediately. This can be confirmed by listening for a slight humming or a slight vibra-
tion. Once the unit is running the inside temperature will start to cool down within a couple of min-
utes. Ensure the desired temperature has been reached (this will take between 2 to 3 hours) by check-
ing with a thermometer before stocking product. It is strongly recommen e to run the unit empty for
24 hours before loa ing any pro ucts.
Note: If the unit is running and the power supply is interrupted the unit may not restart immediately.
The system pressures have to equalize before restarting. This may take five to ten minutes.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING
Check with your power company if you are not certain of your power supply.
Before connecting to power supply the unit should be upright and idle for at least 1 hour.

6
The unit is a manual defrost type and will require defrosting when the ice buildup is 1/4” thick or more
around the cabinet top. Defrost as often as required to prevent excessive frost buildup inside the unit.
Excessive ice build-up will reduce cooling efficiency and may cause product loss and equipment dam-
age.
To perform a manual efrost follow these steps.
1.• Remove all product from the unit.
2.• Disconnect from electrical receptacle.
3.• Allow sufficient time for all ice buildup to melt or use warm water or a hair dryer to melt ice.
4.• Remove the compressor cover from the back of the unit (see page 5 for instructions)
5.• Place a suitable size pan under the drain tube.
6.• Remove dividers, baskets, and false bottom from the unit.
7.• Remove the drain plug from the interior cabinet bottom.
8.• Drain all the water and wipe down the inside of the unit until clean and dry.
8• (See cleaning instructions, page 4)
9. Replace the drain plug in the interior cabinet bottom.
10. Remove the pan and re-install the compressor cover.
11. Replace the dividers, baskets, and false bottom into the unit.
12. Plug the unit in and verify if it is getting cold.
13. Restock the unit when desired temperature is reached.
3
WARNING:
Make sure unit is disconnected from power supply before defrosting.Do not place electrical devices
into the unit. Do not use sharp tools to remove ice. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, concentrated
detergents, or bleach on your unit. Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, fire, electrical
shock or damage to the unit.
Problem Possible Cause Action
Unit does not run. • Cord not connected to the
receptacle
• No power in receptacle
• Thermostat set to off position
• Connect cord to receptacle
• Contact your electrician
• Turn thermostat clockwise to turn the
unit on and adjust •later to reach the
desired temperature
Unit is not pulling temperature
down cold enough. • Ice build up on cabinet inner
walls
• Unit located close to heat source
or direct sunlight or ambient
temperature is higher than
recommended
• Condenser fan not running
• Poor air flow behind the unit
• Glass lid open
• Drain plug loose or removed
• Thermostat set too warm
• Perform defrost as described on Page 3
• Move unit away from heat sources or
direct sunlight. Ensure ambient
temperature is as per ratings on serial
plate
• Call for service
• Provide proper space of at least 6”
behind the unit
• Close glass lid & check glass lid seal
for proper sealing
• Ensure that the drain plug is firmly
pushed into the drain hole
• Turn thermostat clockwise to make it
colder
