water on fabrics, as often as required. Make sure
that there is water in the tank. Press the spray
button slowly (for a dense spray) or quickly (for a

Selecting hot-steam and steam when ironing
vertically:
Press the hot-steam button to generate a
powerful burst of steam that can penetrate
the fabrics and smooth the most difcult and
tough creases. Wait for a few seconds before
pressing again. By pressing the hot-steam button
at intervals you can also iron vertically (curtains,
hung garments, etc.).
WARNING: the hot-steam function can
only be used at high temperatures. Stop
the emission when the power indicator

only after the light has gone off.

knife.

• To iron without steam, leaving the steam dial
on position“0”.
• Read the washing label instructions on your
clothes to select the required temperature.
• Begin ironing when the power indicator light
turns off.
Anti Drip:
With a bimetal assembled inside the iron, which
can close the steam when the iron soleplate
temperature becomes very low,so water
leakage will never happen with this features.
Auto Shut-Off:
An electronic safety device will automtically
switch the heating element off if the iron has
not been moved more than 30 seconds in a
horizontal position. If in a vertical position, this
will happen after 8 minutes. To indicate that the
heating element has been switched off, the
auto-off pilot light will start blinking.
• When picking up the iron again, the auto-
off pilot light will stop blinking. The power
indicator light will turn on. This indicates that
the iron is heating up again.

Then the iron is ready for use.

Setting the Temperature - Fabric Guide
Read all garment labels when ironing and ensure the manufacturer’s ironing guidelines are followed.
Always check the garment label for ironing instructions before ironing a garment.
If the ironing instructions are missing, see the table below.
Sort your laundry: Wool with wool. Cotton with cotton, etc. Start ironing the fabrics requiring the lowest
temperature and progress to the higher ones because the iron heats up quicker than it cools down.
NOTE: If the article to be ironed consists of various different fabrics, always select the
temperature required by the most delicate fabric.
