2 Safety instructions
2.1 General safety
zConnect the device to the 100-240 V AC mains using only the mains
adapter provided.
zNever pull the mains adapter out of the socket by the cable.
zIf the connection cable is damaged, it must be replaced to prevent
possible electrical hazards.
zDo not operate the device if it is visibly damaged.
zIf the battery box/charge box is visibly damaged, replace it with an original
rechargeable battery/battery pack from the manufacturer.
zDispose of the batteries/rechargeable batteries in a suitable manner.
zThis device may only be repaired by qualified personnel. Inadequate
repairs can lead to considerable hazards.
zPull out the connection cable:
– Before cleaning and maintenance
– After use
zEnsure that the ventilation slots are not covered.
zCaution! Danger of injury!
Batteries contain aggressive and caustic acids. Avoid battery fluid coming
into contact with your body. If your skin does come into contact with
battery fluid, wash the part of your body in question thoroughly with water.
zKeep electrical appliances out of reach from children or infirm persons. Do
not let them use the appliances without supervision.
