1. Introduction
Congratulations on your purchase of the Slim-Line Bluetooth Handsfree Car Speaker
Kit. This device can be connected to any Bluetooth phone. The Ultra Slim design looks
great and is easy to use. The small form factor easily slides onto your car’s sun visor.
2. Before using your Handsfree Speaker Kit
Check the package contents:
Included in the package you will find the Slim-Line Bluetooth Handsfree Car Speaker
Kit a sun-visor clip vehicle power charger and this manual.
The Speaker Kit uses a rechargeable battery that must be fully charged before
you use it for the first time (see section 4).

Status Indicators:
1) Power LED – Power on mode:

Stand by Mode: Blinks two times every two seconds
Pairing Mode: Blinks continuously
Active Mode: Power on continuously
3) LED 2 - Call Activity Status:
Sending and Receiving Phone Call: Blinks shortly
Active call: Lit continuously
4) LED 3 - Low battery Status:
LED blinks continuously

4. Charging your Handsfree Speaker Kit
Use the vehicle power charger provided.
The Speaker Kit uses a rechargeable battery
that must be fully charged before you use it
for the first time. Connect the supplied
vehicle power charger to a power outlet and
then connect to your Handsfree Speaker
Phone. The indicator status on the Vehicle
Charger will be illuminated red while
charging and change to Green when the
Handsfree is fully charged. It takes
approximately 2 hours to fully charge. An
after-market auto/DC to AC adapter is available at most electronic stores.
NOTE: If the battery is low the LED 3 will blink red.
. Bluetooth pairing
To power on the Handsfree speaker phone press the multifunction button down for two
seconds. Be sure that the phone is powered on as well.
1) Place the device in pairing mode by pressing and holding the “volume down” button
for five seconds. Release the button when the status indicator begins to flash rapidly
and makes a beeping sound.
NOTICE: If the Speaker Kit is not paired successfully within two minutes the
Speaker Kit switches to stand-by mode.
2) Use your phone’s menu to search for Bluetooth devices and select “ME BV1”
3) When the phone display asks for a pass key enter “0000.” The Bluetooth icon will
appear on the display indicating the devices successfully paired. If the Handsfree
Speaker Kit stops responding you may need to reset the device (see sections 7).

6. Using your Handsfree Speaker Kit
1) Power On / Off:
Press the multifunction button for two seconds to turn on the device.
Press the multifunction button for five seconds to turn off the device.
2) Connect the Handsfree Speaker Kit to your phone:
Press the multifunction button and hold down until you hear a beep and a flashing
Bluetooth signal will illuminate.
3) Disconnect the device from your phone:
Press the up /down volume button simultaneously for one second while phone is
not in use. It will not disconnect if currently connected to a caller.
4) Answer / End / Place a call:
To answer a call press the multifunction button once.
To end a call press the multifunction button for two seconds.
If you are on a call using your phone handset you can transfer the call to your
Speaker Kit by pressing the multifunction button two times.
5) Call transfer back to phone:
To transfer a call from your Speaker Kit back to your phone press the multifunction
button two times.
6) Call reject:
To reject an incoming call without answering the phone press and hold the
multifunction button. Calls will be sent to voicemail.
7) Last number dialed/redial:
To redial the last number press the multifunction button two times.
8) Volume Up / Down:
During a call press and hold the volume button up / down to adjust the volume.
9) Mute / Un-mute:
Press the up/down volume button simultaneously when on the phone.
10) Auto Power Off:
The power turns off automatically when the device is not in use for one hour.
11) Voice dialing:
If your phone supports voice dialing press the multifunction button once for one to
two seconds to enable this function and then follow prompts accordingly.
12) Auto Reconnecting
The Speaker Kit automatically reconnects to the last phone used if the device is
powered on. If you leave your car the phone will disconnect from the Speaker
Phone. The device can be reconnected to the phone by pressing the multifunction
button down and holding for two to three seconds until you hear a beeping sound.

7. Troubleshooting
Problems Suggestions
The Handsfree Speaker Kit
will not turn on
The speaker phone battery power may be depleted.
Try recharging.
Pairing is unsuccessful Try moving the phone closer during pairing.
Make sure the mobile phone is in the correct Bluetooth mode.
Some devices such as microwave ovens may create an
electrical sound blocking communications. Move away from
such devices and try again.
Pairing has succeeded but
calls can not be heard
Make sure volume is up and/or check if the call has been
transferred from phone to Handsfree mode.
The Handsfree Speaker Kit
stops responding to button
presses
Ensure the speaker phone battery is charged.
Try resetting your speaker phone following the directions.
To reset the Handsfree Speaker Kit stick a pin into the small hole on the back side
and gently push in once.

8. General Information
Battery Care
For improved battery life:
Do not charge your Handsfree Speaker Kit if the ambient temperature is above 45
degrees Fahrenheit or below 10 degrees Celsius.
Do not leave your Handsfree Speaker Kit connected to the charger for extended
periods of time as excessive charging will reduce battery life.
Standard DC/ C 12V dapter available at most electronic stores.

Mobile Edge is pleased to provide the original purchaser of this accessory product
a warranty for defects in material or workmanship under normal use and service for
one year from the date of purchase. If you need to make a warranty claim please
provide the original receipt warranty card registration on-line registration or other
acceptable documentation. This limited warranty does not cover any damage due
