MobileView BODY WORN CAMERA User manual

Introduction
The MobileView Body Worn Camera is designed to be rugged
and easy to use. It records video in true HD 1080P to capture a
full forensic view. One Docking Station can have up to 20 cameras
in use, simultaneously charging and downloading video at once.
Note: Refer to the MobileView Body Worn Camera User Guide
for a complete understanding of the features and
operations of the Body Worn Camera.
Body Worn Camera Functionality
The camera automatically begins recording when it is powered
on. Pressing the Power button quickly turns the LCD screen on
and off.
Power Camera On or Off
1. Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds to power on
the camera.
2. Press and hold the Power button again for 3 seconds to
power off the camera.
LED and Laser Pointer
1. Press the Light button one time to enable the white LED
light.Press the Light button two times to disable the white
LED light and enable the laser pointer.
2. Press the Light button three times to disable the laser
pointer.
Note: If laser pointer is ON, press the light button once to turn it
off
Record Video
1. Press the Record button once to start video recording. Press
again to stop video recording.
2. The camera does not need to be turned on to initiate
recording. If the Camera is off, press and hold the Record
button to immediately begin recording video.
Note: 30 seconds of pre-recorded video will be available only
when the Pre-record option is enabled and BWC is on
standby.
Mute Audio when recording Video
When video recording, press the Audio button on the Body Worn
Camera to mute audio. Only video will be recorded. Body Worn
Camera will beep every 10 seconds to indicate Body Worn
Camera is not recording audio. Press the Audio button once more
to un-mute and record audio along with video.
Snapshot Video
Press the Snapshot button to take high resolution still images.
Note: Take multiple snapshot bursts when the camera is not
recording.
Audio Recording
1. If the camera is recording, press Record to stop recording.
2. Press the Audio button once to start audio recording. Press
again to stop audio recording.
Mark/Tag Recording, Image or Audio
1. During video recording, press the TAG button to tag current
video.
2. During Playback, press the TAG button to tag selected video,
audio or snapshot.
Recording Reminder
If the Vibration reminder option is enabled, Body Worn Camera
will vibrate at the selected interval to remind the user that the
Body Worn Camera is recording continuously.

LCD Camera Screen
View and Modify Camera Options
Press the Menu button to view the current camera options on the
LCD screen. Scroll through the options using the Play and Menu
buttons and select required settings to modify the options. Press
the POWER button to quit the menu screen.
Play and View Video
Playback Buttons
1. Press the PLAY button.
2. Press the MENU button to fast forward the video
3. Press the PLAY button to rewind the video.
4. Press the SELECT button to pause or resume the video.
5. Press and hold the MENU button to zoom in on live video or a
snapshot.
6. Press and hold the PLAY button to zoom out on live video or
a snapshot.
7. Press the POWER button on the top of the camera to exit
playback mode.
LCD Screen Menu
Quick Playback
1. Press the PLAY button to open the Playback menu.
2. Select Quick Video Playback to play the last recorded item.
Note: Use the Play and Menu buttons to move right or left to
make your selection.
3. Press the Select button. You can now use the buttons to
pause, rewind of fast forward. Press POWER to exit
playback.
Segment Playback
1. Press the PLAY button to open the Playback menu
2. Select Video/Photo/Audio Playback on the LCD Playback
menu.
Note: Use the Play and Menu buttons to move right or left to
make your selection.
3. Select Video in the menu.
4. The selected video segment is highlighted with the segment
number and total video segments displaying on the bottom of
the screen. Press Select to start playback of the selected
segment.
