Important Safety Information. Please read and keep all guides and
instruction booklets.
Key:
WARNING: Excessive sound pressure from earphones and headphones can
cause hearing loss.’ Headphones are not supplied with the product. These must
be purchased seperately.
Important Safety Instructions
To reduce the risk of fire or electrical shock, do not expose the AirStream 10 to•
rain or moisture.
The apparatus should not be exposed to dripping or splashing, and objects•
filled with liquids, such as vases, shall not be placed on the apparatus. As with
any electronic product, use care not to spill liquids into any part of the system.
Liquids can cause a failure and/or a fire hazard.
No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the•
apparatus.
Use ONLY the power adaptor provided with the radio. If damaged, a new unit•
can be obtained from Monitor Audio.
The marking information is located at the bottom enclosure of the apparatus•
Important Operating Instructions
This product must be used indoors. It is neither designed nor tested for use•
outdoors, in recreation vehicles, or on boats.
Where the mains plug is used as the disconnect device, such disconnect•
device should remain readily operable.
Power Cord Protection
The power supply cord should be routed so that it is not likely to be stepped on or
pinched by items placed upon or against it.
Water & Moisture
AirStream 10 should not be used near water - for example, a bathtub, washbowl,
kitchen sink, and washing machine, in a wet basement or near a swimming pool.
Under no circumstance should plants, vases or fish bowls be placed on the product.
Please ensure that no liquid is spilt on the appliance, especially on the panel where
the power cord/cables enter the product. The apparatus shall not be exposed to
dripping or splashing and any object filled with liquids, such as vases shall not be
placed on it.
Heat/Humidity
AirStream 10 should not be placed near any heat source such as radiators, open
fires, stoves, direct sunlight, or any other appliance that produces heat. Nor should
it be placed beside equipment that produces steam, such as a kettle.
This lightning flash with an arrow head symbol, within
an equilateral triangle, is intended to alert the user to
the presence of un-insulated “dangerous voltage”
within the product’s enclosure that may be of sufficient
magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to the
persons.
Warning: To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not
remove cover (or back), no user-serviceable parts
inside. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel.
This exclamation point within an equilateral triangle
is intended to alert the user to presence of important
maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature
accompanying the appliance.

Damage Requiring Service
Qualified personnel should service the appliance when:
The power cord or plug has been damaged.•
Liquid has been spilt anywhere on the AirStream 10 or mains power adaptor.•
The AirStream 10 has been dropped or the enclosure damaged.•
The AirStream 10 does not appear to operate normally or exhibits a marked•
change in its performance.
The procedures outlined in the troubleshooting section do not resolve your•
problem.
Power
Switch off the unit when you don’t use it. Switch off the unit and disconnect it from
the AC power supply when it is not being used for a long time. The mains plug is
used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable
at any time.
Servicing
The user should not attempt to service the appliance.
Cleaning
Wipe your AirStream 10 clean with a soft dry cloth to remove any dust. A soft brush
will remove any dust from the grille cloth. DO NOT use solvents to clean any part
of the system.

Valid upon completion of on-line registration at www.monitoraudio.co.uk/warranty.
This equipment has been fully tested prior to dispatch from the factory. Both
the craftsmanship and the performance of this product is guaranteed against
manufacturing defects for the period of one year from the date of purchase (see
conditions below), provided that the product was supplied by an authorised Monitor
Audio retailer under the consumer sale agreement. (The words ‘consumer sale’
shall be construed in accordance with section 15 of the supply of goods act 1973).
Monitor Audio accepts no responsibility for defects arising from accident, misuse,
abuse, wear and tear, modification or operation outside of that specified within this
manual. Neither will responsibility be accepted for damage or loss occurring during
transit to or from the parties claiming under this guarantee.
This guarantee covers both labour and parts. The liability of Monitor Audio is limited
to the cost of repair or replacement of the defective parts (at the discretion of Monitor
Audio) and under no circumstances extends to consequential losses or damage.
CLAIMS UNDER THIS GUARANTEE
The equipment should be returned in its original packaging to the original supplier.
If it is not possible to return the equipment by hand, then it should be sent carriage
pre-paid via a reputable carrier.
This guarantee does not affect the statutory rights of the consumer under UK law.

The end users shall :
Refrain from modifying, translating, reverse engineering, decompiling,•
disassembling or using other means to discover the Source Code or otherwise

changé de façon notable.

Alimentation secteur
Eteignez l’appareil lorsque vous ne l’utilisez pas. Si vous ne comptez pas l’utiliser

Garantie valide après l’enregistrement en ligne sur www.monitoraudio.co.uk/
warranty. Cet équipement a été intégralement testé avant son expédition. La
qualité de sa fabrication et son bon fonctionnement sont garantis contre les défauts
de fabrication pendant une période d’un an à compter de la date d’achat (Cf.
conditions ci-dessous), sous réserve que le produit ait été fourni par un revendeur
Monitor Audio agréé dans le cadre du contrat de vente au consommateur (les mots
« vente au consommateur » étant interprétés selon la section 15 du « Supply of
goods act » de 1973). Monitor Audio se dégage de toute responsabilité en cas

Importanti istruzioni per l’uso
Questo prodotto è destinato esclusivamente all’uso in interni. Non è stato•
concepito né è stato collaudato per l’uso all’aperto, su veicoli o imbarcazioni.
Se come dispositivo di interruzione si utilizza la spina di alimentazione di rete, la•
spina deve rimanere sempre facilmente raggiungibile e scollegabile.
Protezione del cavo di alimentazione
Disporre il cavo di alimentazione in modo che non possa essere calpestato o
soggetto a compressione da eventuali oggetti appoggiati sopra o contro di esso.
Acqua e umidità
L’apparecchio AirStream 10 non deve essere utilizzato in prossimità di acqua, ad
esempio vicino a vasche da bagno, acquai o lavandini, lavatrici, in cantine umide
o accanto a piscine. Non collocare mai, in nessuna circostanza, piante, vasi o
acquari per pesci sull’apparecchio. Evitare assolutamente il versamento di liquidi
sull’apparecchio, e specialmente sul pannello di ingresso del cavo di alimentazione
o altri cavi. L’apparecchio non dovrà mai essere esposto a spruzzi o gocciolamenti.
Si dovrà inoltre assolutamente evitare di appoggiare oggetti, recipienti o vasi
contenenti liquidi sull’apparecchio stesso.

Attenzione: Per ridurre il rischio di folgorazione

L’apparecchio non contiene al suo interno componenti
che richiedono l’intervento dell’utente. Per eventuali
riparazioni, rivolgersi a tecnici di assistenza qualificati.
Il simbolo del fulmine all’interno di un triangolo
equilatero ha lo scopo di avvertire l’utente della
presenza di “tensioni pericolose” non isolate all’interno
della carcassa dell’apparecchio, che possono essere
di intensità sufficiente a rappresentare un rischio di
folgorazione per le persone.
Il simbolo del punto esclamativo all’interno di un
triangolo equilatero ha lo scopo di segnalare all’utente
la presenza di importanti istruzioni relative all’uso e alla
manutenzione nella documentazione che accompagna
l’apparecchio.

Calore / Umidità
L’apparecchio AirStream 10 non deve essere collocato in vicinanza di sorgenti di
calore, ad esempio radiatori, caminetti, stufe, la luce solare diretta o qualsiasi altro
apparato che produce calore. Non dovrà altresì essere collocato in vicinanza di
sorgenti di vapore, ad esempio un bollitore.
Danni che richiedono assistenza tecnica.
L’apparecchio dovrà essere riparato da tecnici qualificati nei seguenti casi:
In caso di danni alla spina o al cavo di alimentazione.•
Si sono versati liquidi sull’apparecchio o sull’adattatore di alimentazione.•
L’apparecchio è caduto o presenta danni al suo esterno.•
L’apparecchio non sembra funzionare in maniera normale o presenta•

Alimentazione
Spegnere sempre l’apparecchio quando non in uso. Spegnere l’apparecchio e
scollegarlo dalla rete di alimentazione elettrica se si prevede di non utilizzarlo per
un lungo periodo di tempo. La spina elettrica dell’apparecchio è utilizzata come
dispositivo di interruzione dell’alimentazione elettrica e deve rimanere sempre
facilmente accessibile.
Assistenza
È fatto divieto all’utente di cercare di riparare l’apparecchio personalmente.
Pulizia
Spolverare l’AirStream 10 con un panno morbido e asciutto. Servirsi eventualmente di
un pennello o una spazzola morbida per rimuovere la polvere dal tessuto di protezione
della mascherina. NON UTILIZZARE MAI solventi per pulire l’apparecchio.

Um Brand- oder Elektroschockrisiken zu reduzieren, darf der AirStream 10•
weder Regen noch Feuchtigkeit ausgesetzt werden.
Das Gerät sollte nicht in Umgebungen gestellt werden, wo Flüssigkeiten darauf•
tropfen oder verspritzt werden könnten, und es sollten keine mit Flüssigkeiten
gefüllten Gegenstände (wie Vasen) auf das Gerät gestellt werden. Wie bei jedem
Elektronikprodukt muss darauf geachtet werden, dass keine Flüssigkeiten auf

Wichtige Betriebsanweisungen
Dieses Produkt ist für den Einsatz in Gebäuden bestimmt. Es ist für den•
Gebrauch im Freien, in Wohnwagen/-mobilen oder auf Booten weder gedacht
noch dafür erprobt.
Wenn der Netzstecker zum Ein- und Ausschalten des Geräts verwendet wird,•
sollte der Stecker stets betriebsbereit sein.
Schutz des Stromkabels
Das Stromkabel sollte so verlegt werden, dass es keine Stolpergefahr darstellt und
nicht die Gefahr besteht, dass es durch darauf oder daneben stehende Gegenstände
gequetscht wird.
Wasser und Feuchtigkeit
AirStream 10 sollte nicht in der Nähe von Wasser verwendet werden – beispielsweise
Badewanne, Waschbecken, Spüle, Waschmaschine, einem feuchten Keller oder
in der Nähe eines Schwimmbads. Unter keinen Umständen sollten Pflanzen,
Vasen oder Aquarien auf das Produkt gestellt werden. Darauf achten, dass keine
Flüssigkeiten auf dem Gerät verschüttet werden – vor allem nicht auf der Platte,
durch die das Stromkabel oder andere Kabel in das Produkt eingeführt werden. Das
Gerät sollte nicht tropfenden oder spritzenden Flüssigkeiten ausgesetzt werden. Es
sollten keine mit Flüssigkeiten gefüllten Objekte (wie z. B. Vasen) auf das Gerät
gestellt werden.

Wärme und Feuchtigkeit
AirStream 10 sollte nicht in der Nähe von Wärmequellen wie Heizungen, offenem
Feuer, Öfen, direktem Sonnenlicht oder anderen wärmeerzeugenden Geräten
aufgestellt werden. Es sollte auch nicht neben Geräten aufgestellt werden, die
Dampf erzeugen (z. B. Wasserkocher).
Defekte, die eine Wartung erfordern
Das Gerät sollte in folgenden Fällen von qualifiziertem Personal gewartet werden:

Stromzufuhr
Wenn das Gerät nicht verwendet wird, das Gerät abschalten. Wenn es über
einen längeren Zeitraum nicht verwendet werden soll, den Netzstecker ziehen,
der zur Unterbrechung der Stromzufuhr dient. Der Netzstecker muss sich stets in
betriebsbereitem Zustand befinden.
Wartung
Der Benutzer sollte nicht versuchen, das Gerät zu warten.
Reinigung
Staub mit einem weichen, trockenen Tuch vom AirStream 10 entfernen. Staub
vom Verkleidungstuch mit einer weichen Bürste beseitigen. Das Gerät NICHT mit
Lösungsmitteln reinigen.

Für die Ausführung und Leistung des Produkts gelten für ein Jahr ab Kaufdatum
(siehe Bedingungen unten) eine Garantie gegen Herstellungsfehler, sofern das
Produkt gemäß der Verbraucherschutzvereinbarung von einem zugelassenen
Monitor Audio Einzelhändler verkauft wurde. (Der Begriff „Verbraucherschutz“ ist
gemäß Paragraph 15 des britischen Verkaufsgesetzes – Supply of Goods Act – von
1973 auszulegen). Monitor Audio übernimmt keine Verantwortung für Defekte, die
auf Unfälle, Missbrauch, unsachgemäße Verwendung, Verschleiß, Modifizierungen

Bedingungen zurückzuführen sind. Es wird auch keine Verantwortung für Schäden

El AirStream 10 no deberá utilizarse cerca del agua (p. ej., en una bañera, lavabo,
