IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be
followed, including the following: Read all instructions before using the
Monster Shaver.
REQUIREMENTS
• Pay attention to the rating voltage.
• An appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in.
• Use this appliance only for its intended purpose.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.

HAZARDS
Danger: risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to person due to damaged product
• Do not operate the appliance with a broken cord, plug or charger, or if it is
not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged in anyway.
• Any examination or repair must be performed by a qualified professional.
• Do not use attachments not recommended by Monster Clippers because
they may cause fire, electric shock or injury and damage to the appliance.
• Use of a charger not sold by Monster Clippers may result in risk of fire,
electric shock, or injury to person.
• Do not disassemble charger. Incorrect reassembly may result in a risk of
electric shock or fire.
• Plug adapter cord directly into an AC outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
Danger: Electric shock due to penetration of liquid
• To protect against risk of electrical shock never immerse the unit or let it
come into contact with water or other liquids. Do not use the unit with wet
hands. If the appliance should become wet, damp or fall in water, remove
plug from mains socket immediately. Do not put your hands in the water.
Do not take into the bathroom.

Danger of explosion
• Never operate the appliance where aerosol (spray) products are being used
or where oxygen is being released
• This appliance contains a lithium-ion battery; exhausted batteries/
rechargeable batteries should not be disposed of in the household waste.
Dispose of them in a completely discharged state in accordance with the
local legal regulations. Do not throw into fire where heat could cause them
to rupture or explode.
Warning: injuries due to incorrect handling
• Do not use this appliance with a damaged outer foils and inner cutters,
as injury to the skin may occur. Replace damaged parts before using.
For information on replacement parts, contact our customer service centre
or one of our authorised dealers.
• Switch off the appliance and unplug from outlet when not in use,
before putting on or taking off attachments and also before cleaning
the appliance.
• Always turn control to OFF then remove plug from outlet to disconnect.
• Never use your appliance without paying attention! Except when charging
always unplug this appliance from the electricity outlet immediately after
using.

Caution: Danger of product damage
• Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
• Do not wrap the cord around the appliance charger.
Care should be used to keep the cord untwisted, and undamaged.
• Do not use outdoors or in damp areas.
• Never carry the unit by its power cord.
• Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
• Always attach plug to USB socket first, then to outlet. To disconnect, turn
control to OFF, then remove the plug from USB socket.
• Always store the shaver with the protective plastic head guard covering the
foil.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
FOR SHAVING
1. Keep the unit clean and dry at all the times
2. Remove the protective plastic head guard
3. Check to make sure the outer foils and inner cutters are not damaged.
Replace damaged parts before using.
4. Ensure that the battery is charged.
5. Wash and dry your skin thoroughly prior to shaving.
6. Slide the ON/OFF switch to the ON position.
7. Gently stretch the skin of your face with free hand while moving the shaver
slowly and smoothly against the grain of your beard. Using short, circular
strokes will make the hairs stand out from your face more resulting in a
easier and cleaner shave.
8. In order to achieve the closest shave and avoid unnecessary wear of the
foils, be sure that both foils contact the skin simultaneously at all times.
Holding the shaver at an angle where only one foil contacts the skin will
cause distortion of the foil an may result in skin irritation.
9. To facilitate cutting and avoid foil wear, apply minimal pressure to the
shaver touching your skin.
10. To maximize shaving comfort, be sure to clean the shaver thoroughly after
each use.

CHARGING THE BATTERY
The USB charger/adapter is intended for use with Monster Clipper model M05
lithium-ion shaver.
Plug the adapter/USB cable into an outlet at the correct voltage.
Make sure that the shaver is switched OFF when charging. Note that the
shaver can be removed at any time during the charging cycle without harming
the shaver or battery.
The shaver has not been charged at the factory.
Please charge the shaver for a minimum of 1.5 hours before the first use for
maximum performance.
CORDED OPERATION
If the shaver powers OFF in the middle of a shaving job, the USB cable can be
attached to continue use in corded operation. If the battery is completely run
down, allow it to charge for one till two minutes (switched OFF) before you start
using it as a corded shaver.
The shaver will charge at a slower rate while in use with the cord attached.
