• Remove all packaging materials and labels before rst use. DO NOT discard
until you have inspected and operated the product. Dispose of the packaging
materials via the appropriate recycling system.
• DO NOT drape the charger cord where it can be pulled on or tripped over. DO
NOT wrap the cord tightly around the charger or power tool, as this could
cause the cord to fray or break.
• We DO NOT recommend using an extension cord when charging the battery.
However, if an extension cord is used, the marked electrical rating should be at
least as great as the electrical rating of this tool.
• CLOSE SUPERVISION IS NECESSARY WHEN USING THIS POWER TOOL NEAR
CHILDREN OR ANIMALS.
• DO NOT carry the tool with nger(s) on the trigger switch.
• DO NOT use the blower or charge the battery in rain, damp or wet locations.
• DO NOT operate in gaseous or explosive areas. The motor may spark and the
sparks might ignite fumes or dust.
• DO NOT use an accessory or attachment not recommended by Wards, as this
may cause injury, or damage the power tool.
• DO NOT overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
• Keep hands, hair and clothing away from all moving parts.
• Turn blower off before removing the battery. Remove the battery when not in
use or when servicing or cleaning.
• DO NOT leave this tool unattended with the battery attached.
• DO NOT use the blower in enclosed or poorly ventilated spaces.
• When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from metal objects (paper clips,
coins, keys, nails, screws, etc.). Metal objects can make a connection from one
terminal to the other and may cause sparks, burns, or a re.
• NO SERVICEABLE PARTS INSIDE THIS POWER TOOL OR BATTERY.
• DO NOT USE A POWER TOOL WITH A DAMAGED BATTERY, CORD OR PLUG,
OR AFTER IT MALFUNCTIONS, OR HAS BEEN DAMAGED IN ANY MANNER.
• DO NOT use with any air vents blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and
anything that may reduce air ow.
• Know how to stop the blower quickly. Be thoroughly familiar with the controls
before using.

This power tool charger is equipped with a plug which is a safety feature to reduce
the risk of electrical shock. Connect the plug to an electrical outlet before attach-
ing the battery to the charger. If the plug does not t your electrical outlet, contact
a qualied electrician. DO NOT attempt to modify the plug in any way.

CHARGE THE BATTERY
1. The battery must be charged before rst use and it does not have to be fully
discharged before recharging. Charge the battery pack only with the charger
provided, in a dry place, in temperatures between 39 and 104˚ F.
2. Install the charger on the top of the battery and push until the charger connects
rmly. The red LED light on the charger is lit when the battery is connected.
3. The LED on the charger turns green when the battery is fully charged. Allow at
least 60 minutes of charge time before initial use of the blower.
4. The battery may require 2–3 initial charging/discharging cycles to achieve
maximum run time/capacity.
5. Disconnect the plug from the outlet and remove the battery from the charger.
6. When fully charged, the battery can be safely stored in temperatures down to
-4˚ F for a up to 4 weeks. Fully charge the battery pack every 90 days. DO NOT
store the battery in a discharged condition.
7. Press the LED button on the battery to see the level of charge.

NOTE: A small leakage from the battery cells may occur under extreme conditions
(usage, charging or temperature). This is normal. If the outer seal is broken
and this leakage gets on your skin, wash thoroughly with soap and water.
Neutralize the area with a mild acid, such as lemon juice or vinegar.
WARNING: If the battery liquid gets in your eyes, ush with clean water
at least 10 minutes and seek immediate medical attention.
NOTE: If, over a period of time, the battery quickly runs down after a full 60
minute charging period, a replacement battery is needed. Use only a
size BL82120 battery.

WARNINGS:
• Wear appropriate personal hearing protection during use. Under some
conditions and duration of use, noise from this product may contribute to
hearing loss.
• DO NOT wear loose clothing or jewelry. Cover or tie long hair back.
• Gloves and closed-toe footwear are recommended.
• Wear safety glasses or goggles when operating this product.
• Use a face or dust mask, if needed.
ASSEMBLE THE BLOWER
1. Attach the rear tube to the blower by aligning the
tube with the housing as shown. Push the tube into
the blower housing until the lock button snaps into
place.
2. Attach the front tube to the rear tube by aligning
as shown. Push the tubes together until the lock
button snaps into place.
3. Align the battery with the cavity in the main
housing. Insert the battery until the battery
release button snaps into place. The battery can
only be installed one way.
4. To remove the battery, press the release button on
the battery and pull the battery out of the cavity.
USING THE BLOWER
1. Start the blower by squeezing the trigger switch. Release the trigger switch to
turn off the blower.
2. Rotate the speed control wheel to accelerate or decelerate air speed (1 is the
lowest speed and 6 is the highest).
3. Carefully point the blower (it could move heavy material and cause injury or
damage) and move forward slowly to move the leaves or other material. Avoid
collisions with hard objects which could damage the blower.
4. Keep bystanders and animals at least 15 feet away from the working area.
5. DO NOT put anything in or over the air vents.
6. When nished using the blower, turn off and remove the battery.

WARNING: DO NOT incinerate a battery pack, even if it is severely
damaged or completely worn out. It can explode in a re
causing injury.
1. Turn off and remove the battery from the blower.
2. Always allow the blower to cool completely before cleaning.
3. Keep the blower dry and free from oil and grease. Wipe the exterior with a
damp cloth and mild soap, as needed.
4. DO NOT immerse any electrical tool, its charger, its cord, or its plug, into
water. DO NOT let any liquid get inside the tool.
5. DO NOT let brake uids, gasoline or petroleum-based products come in
contact with plastic parts (they can damage, weaken or destroy plastic).
6. Ensure all parts are dried thoroughly before reassembling and using the power
tool.
7. Fully recharge the battery before storage and then again every 90 days.
8. DO NOT store near fertilizers and other garden chemicals. These may contain
agents which greatly accelerate the corrosion of metals
The RBRC seal on the Li-ion battery pack indicates that
the cost to recycle the battery pack at the end of its useful
life has already been paid by the manufacturer. It is illegal
to place spent Li-ion batteries in the local municipal solid
waste or in the trash. RBRC, in cooperation with the manu-
facturer, has provided an environmentally friendly and easy
way to recycle spent Li-ion batteries. Just contact your local
recycling center or call 1.800.822.8837 for information on
where to drop off the spent battery.

to be free from defects in material and workmanship
for one year from provable date of purchase.
Within this warranty period, Montgomery Ward will repair

replace, at its option, defective parts of this
product at no charge, provided the product is returned,
freight prepaid with proof of purchase to
Montgomery Ward.
Allow 2–4 weeks for return shipping.
This warranty does not cover improper installation, misuse,
abuse or neglect on part of the owner. Warranty is also
invalid in any case that the product is taken apart or
serviced by an unauthorized service station.
This warranty gives you specic legal rights and they may
vary from state to state.
