VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
Om het risico van brand, elektrische schok, of letsel te verminderen, dienen altijd de volgende
veiligheidsmaatregelen in acht te worden genomen:
1. Lees deze gebruiksaanwijzing zorgvuldig door voordat u het apparaat gaat gebruiken.
Bewaar de gebruiksaanwijzing om deze indien nodig te kunnen raadplegen.
2. Gebruik het apparaat alleen zoals in deze gebruiksaanwijzing staat beschreven.
3. Gebruik de machine alleen voor huishoudelijk gebruik.
4. Niet te gebruiken voor andere doeleinden dan in deze handleiding staan beschreven.
5. Gebruik het apparaat niet indien de stekker, het snoer of andere onderdelen beschadigd
zijn.
6. Indien het netsnoer beschadigd is, moet u het laten vervangen door Van den Berg Products
of een door Van den Berg Products geautoriseerd servicecentrum om gevaar te voorkomen.
7. Controleer of het voltage aangegeven op het apparaat overeenkomt met de plaatselijke
netspanning voordat u het apparaat aansluit.
8. Gebruik altijd een geaard stopcontact.
9. Dit apparaat is niet bedoeld voor gebruik door personen (waaronder kinderen) met
verminderde lichamelijke, zintuiglijke of geestelijke vermogens, of die gebrek aan ervaring
of kennis hebben, tenzij iemand die verantwoordelijk is voor hun veiligheid toezicht op hen
houdt of hen heeft uitgelegd hoe het apparaat dient te worden gebruikt.
10. Dit apparaat is geen speelgoed. Nauwlettend toezicht is vereist als het apparaat in nabijheid
van kinderen, huisdieren en planten wordt gebruikt. Laat het apparaat niet door kinderen
gebruiken.
11. Gebruik het apparaat niet wanneer het niet normaal functioneert, gevallen of beschadigd is
of buiten heeft gestaan.
12. Controleer het apparaat, het snoer en de onderdelen regelmatig op beschadiging. Een
beschadigd apparaat c.q. beschadigde onderdelen mogen niet in gebruik worden genomen.
13. Schakel het apparaat uit voordat u de stekker uit het stopcontact neemt of in het
stopcontact plaatst.
14. Trek de stekker niet aan de stroomkabel uit het stopcontact. Om de stekker uit het
stopcontact te nemen, pakt u de stekker en trekt deze voorzichtig uit het stopcontact.
15. Neem altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact wanneer u het apparaat vult met water, leegt, of
wanneer het apparaat niet gebruikt wordt.
16. Laat het apparaat niet onbeheerd achter wanneer de stekker in het stopcontact zit. Neem de
stekker uit het stopcontact wanneer het apparaat niet gebruikt wordt of wanneer onderhoud
uitgevoerd wordt.
17. Gebruik de wasmachine niet met een verlengsnoer, tenzij dit verlengsnoer gecontroleerd en
getest is door een gekwalificeerde monteur.
18. Dompel de machine, de stekker en het snoer nooit onder water of in enige andere vloeistof.
19. Kom niet met natte handen aan het apparaat of de stekker.
20. Trek of draag het apparaat niet aan de stroomkabel, gebruik het snoer niet als handvat,
klem het snoer niet tussen de deur, trek het snoer niet om scherpe randen of hoeken.
21. Houd het apparaat en het snoer uit de buurt van verwarmde oppervlakken en vuur of
andere ontstekingsbronnen.
22. Gebruik het apparaat in een droge omgeving.
23. Plaats de wasmachine op een stabiele en vlakke ondergrond.
24. Zorg ervoor dat het waterniveau van de machine niet hoger komt dan de maximum
aangegeven hoeveelheid.
25. Het water dat u toevoegt mag niet warmer zijn dan 50° C.
26. Mors geen water op de knoppen.
27. Vermijd het morsen van vloeistof op het motorgedeelte, aangezien dit kan resulteren in
kortsluiting of een elektrische schok.
28. Om brand, schade of letsel te vermijden, gebruik nooit substanties anders dan water of
wasmiddel in de machine.
29. Was geen artikelen die daarvoor schoongemaakt zijn in, gewassen zijn in, doorweekt zijn in,
of bevlekt zijn met benzine, stomerijoplosmiddelen, of andere brandbare of explosieve
substanties, zij verspreiden dampen die mogelijk kunnen ontsteken of exploderen.

30. Om schade of letsel te voorkomen, probeer nooit om de kledingstukken in de emmer aan te
raken tijdens de wascyclus.
31. Berg het toestel op buiten het bereik van kinderen.
32. Probeer niet om de machine uit elkaar te halen. Repareer om gevaren te vermijden het
apparaat niet zelf.
HET PRODUCT
INSTALLATIE
x De wasmachine dient horizontaal, op een stabiele en vlakke ondergrond geplaatst te
worden.
x De afstand tussen de muur en de machine dient minimaal 5CM te zijn. Dit in verband met
het lawaai dat kan ontstaan indien de machine te dicht tegen een muur geplaatst wordt.
x Gebruik altijd een geaard stopcontact.
WASINSTRUCTIES
x Zorg ervoor dat de timer op OFF staat als u de stekker in het stopcontact steekt.

x De kleding die gewassen dient te worden, mag niet meer dan 0,8 KG wegen. Overvullen kan
zowel de wasprestatie als de levensduur van de machine beïnvloeden.
x Gebruik geen bijtende middelen.
GEBRUIK VAN HET APPARAAT
Wasvoorbereiding
1. Verwijder alle voorwerpen uit de kleding.
2. Was de kleding binnenstebuiten.
3. Was delicate kledingstukken in een waszak.
4. Kleding met olievlekken dient u apart te wassen.

Waarschuwing: De machine is geschikt voor maximaal 0,8 KG wasgoed. Het overschrijden van
dit maximum kan resulteren in mechanische defecten.

Wassen
1. Plaats alle te wassen kleding in de wasemmer.
2. Vul de wasemmer met water uit de kraan. Op dit moment dient de wasemmer niet op de
voet bevestigd te zijn. Verzeker uzelf ervan dat de stekker niet in het stopcontact zit. Volg
bovenstaande instructies op met betrekking tot het waterverbruik. Het water dient via een
kraan of een ander geschikt middel in de wasmachine gegoten te worden. Kies de
watertemperatuur die geschikt is voor de betreffende lading: warme/hete temperaturen voor
de zwaarder vervuilde kleding en koel/koud water voor de minder vervuilde kledingstukken
of een zacht wasprogramma. Voor het kiezen van de juiste temperatuur vulwater, zie de
etiketten in de kleding. Waarschuwing: het water dat u toevoegt mag niet warmer zijn dan
50°C.
3. Nadat de wasemmer gevuld is met de juiste hoeveelheid water, kunt u het wasmiddel
toevoegen. Houd u altijd aan de wasvoorschriften op de verpakking van het wasmiddel.
Gebruik van een handwasmiddel wordt aanbevolen.
4. Doe het deksel op de wasemmer en zorg dat het deksel vergrendeld zit. Zorg ervoor dat het
deksel strak gesloten zit, om lekken en morsen te voorkomen.

5. Plaats de wasemmer op de voet/motor en vergrendel de emmer. Steek dan de stekker in het
stopcontact.
6. Stel het programma en de tijd in van de gewenste wascyclus. De standaardtijd voor één
cyclus is 15 minuten.
7. Wanneer de cyclus ten einde is en de stekker uit het stopcontact is, kunt u de emmer van de
voet verwijderen. Leeg de emmer en haal de was uit de machine. Zorg ervoor dat er geen
water gemorst wordt over het motorgedeelte.
8. Berg het apparaat op tot een volgend gebruik.
Tips
x Voor een beter resultaat kunt u het wasmiddel oplossen in het water voordat u de te wassen
kledingstukken in de wasemmer plaatst.
x Kousen, bh’s en lingerie moeten in een wasnetje gedaan worden voor het wassen.

x Opgemerkt dient te worden dat bepaalde kleding niet bij elkaar gewassen kan worden
omdat daar verschillende programma-instellingen voor nodig zijn.

-Fijne kleding, zoals kousen, bh’s en lingerie, moeten gedurende 7-15 minuten op
GENTLE gewassen worden.
Wastimer Programma
-Sokken, T-shirts etc. moeten gedurende 7-15 minuten op STANDARD gewassen worden.

ONDERHOUD EN OPBERGEN
Waarschuwing: Zorg ervoor dat de stekker uit het stopcontact is alvorens u begint met het
reinigen of het uitvoeren van onderhoud.
1. Na ieder gebruik dient u de stekker uit het stopcontact te nemen en de wasemmer van het
motorgedeelte te verwijderen.

2. De wasemmer moet uitgespoeld en afgedroogd worden. Zorg ervoor dat er geen water op
de voet gemorst wordt en dat het motorgedeelte volledig droog blijft. Dep de machine
droog met een zachte, schone doek.
3. Mocht de wasemmer vervuild zijn maak deze dan schoon met een natte, zachte doek.
Gebruik voor het schoonmaken geen alcohol, benzine, of bijtende middelen.
4. Voor compacte opberging plaatst u het motorgedeelte ondersteboven in de wasemmer.
Zorg ervoor dat de wasemmer volledig droog is voordat u het motorgedeelte hierin plaatst.
5. Bewaar de machine op een donkere en droge plek.
PROBLEMEN OPLOSSEN

1. Als het symbool met de doorgekruiste verrijdbare afvalbak op een product staat, betekent
dit dat het product valt onder de Europese Richtlijn 2002/96/EC.

Dit product is alleen bestemd voor huishoudelijk gebruik. Schade en/of storingen door
bedrijfsmatig gebruik worden uitgesloten van garantie.
U kunt gebruik maken van de garantie indien:

SAFETY REGULATIONS
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, the following safety regulations must always be
taken:
1. Read this user manual carefully before you use this appliance and keep it for future
reference.
2. Use this machine for domestic purposes only.
3. Not to be used for other purposes than described in this manual.
4. Do not use the appliance if the plug, the mains cord or other components are damaged.
5. If the mains cord is damaged, you must have it replaced by Van den Berg Products, a
service centre authorised by Van den Berg Products or similarly qualified person in order to
avoid a safety hazard.
6. Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local mains voltage
before you connect the appliance.
7. Always use an earthed wall socket.
8. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction regarding the use of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety.
9. This appliance is not a toy. Careful supervision is required when the unit is used near
children, pets and plants. Do not allow children to use this appliance.
10. Do not use the unit if it is not working properly or has been dropped, damaged or left
outdoors.
11. Check the unit, power supply cable and parts regularly for damage. Do not use this machine
if it or its parts have been damaged.
12. Turn the power off before you pull the plug from the wall socket or before placing the plug
in the wall socket.
13. Do not pull the plug from the wall socket by its power cord. To take the plug from the wall
socket you hold the plug and carefully remove it from the wall socket.

22. Place the washing machine on a stable and flat surface.
23. Ensure that the water level of the machine does not get higher than the maximum indicated
quantity.
24. The water added must not exceed 50° C.
25. Do not spill any water on the buttons.
26. Avoid spilling liquid onto the base unit, as this can result in short circuit or electric shock.
27. To avoid fire, damages, or any injury, never use substances other than water or washing
detergent in the machine.
28. Do not wash articles that have been previously cleaned in, washed in, soaked in, or spotted
with gasoline, dry-cleaning solvents, or other flammable or explosive substances, as they
give off vapours that could ignite or explode.
29. To avoid breaking or injury, never attempt to touch the items in the bucket during the
washing cycle.
30. Store the cleaner safely out of reach of children.
31. Do not take the machine apart. Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself.

THE PRODUCT
INSTALLATION
x The washing machine must be placed horizontally, on a stable and flat surface.
x The distance between the wall and the machine must be at least 5 CM.
x Always use an earthed wall socket.
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
x Ensure that the timer is set to OFF when you put the plug into the wall socket.
x The added clothing (dry) should not exceed 0,8 KG in weight. This may influence both the
washing performance and the life span of the machine.
x Do not use any abrasive cleaning liquids.

USE OF THE DEVICE
Preparing for washing
1. Remove all the objects from the clothing.
2. Turn the clothing inside out.
3. Wash delicate articles in a laundry bag.
4. Clothing with oil stains (or heavily contaminated clothing) must be washed separately.

Caution: This machine may be used for clothing weighing up to 0,8KG (dry clothing). Exceeding
this limit may result in mechanical failure.

Washing
1. Place all items in the laundry bucket.
2. Fill the bucket with water from the tap. The bucket should not be attached to the base unit
at this time. Ensure the base unit is unplugged. Make sure to follow the water and clothing
volume settings listed in the table above. Water should not be scooped into the bucket,
water should enter the unit via a tap or suitable utensil. Make sure that the temperature of
the water is appropriate for the given load: warm/hot temperatures for the most soiled
items and cool/cold for the less soiled items or gentle wash. To choose the right
temperature of the water, please refer to the labels in the clothing. Caution: the temperature
may not exceed 50° C.
3. After the bucket is filled with the appropriate amount of water, add the laundry detergent.
Always adhere to the washing instructions on the packaging of the detergent. We
recommend the use of hand-wash detergent.
4. Place the cover on the bucket and lock it into place. Ensure that the lid is tightly closed, to
prevent any leaks and spills.

5. Place the bucket on the base/engine and ensure that it is securely locked into place. Now
the base unit can be plugged in.
6. Set the program and timer to the appropriate washing cycle. The usual time for a single
cycle is 15 minutes.
7. When the cycle is complete and the machine is unplugged, remove the bucket from the
base. Empty the bucket and remove the laundry from the machine. Make sure that no
water is spilled onto the base unit.
8. Store the unit away until future use.
Tips
x For better results, the laundry detergent should be mixed with water before the laundry is
placed in the bucket.
x Stockings and lingerie items should be placed in net-bag for washing.
x Certain items should not be washed together as they require different lengths of washing
cycles.
-Delicate items, such as bras, lingerie, stockings and underwear should be washed on
GENTLE-cycle, for a period of 7 to 15 minutes.

-More heavily soiled items, such as socks, collars, sleeves and t-shirts should be washed on
a STANDARD-cycle, for a period of 7 to 15 minutes, depending on the degree of staining.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Caution: Ensure that the unit is unplugged before cleaning or carrying out maintenance.
1. After each use, unplug the base unit and remove the bucket from the base unit.
2. The bucket should be rinsed and dried. Make sure that no water is spilled onto the base
unit and that the motor is completely dry. Pat the bucket dry with a soft, clean cloth.
3. Should the washing bucket be dirty, then clean it with a wet, soft cloth. Do not use any
alcohol, petrol, or abresive substances for the cleaning.
4. For more convenient storage, place the base unit in upside down position into the bucket.
Ensure that the bucket is completely dry before placing the base unit in it.
5. Store the machine in a dark and dry place.

TROUBLESHOOTING

and the power is switched on, the unit will
automatically start again.
DISPOSAL OF YOUR OLD APPLIANCE
1. When this crossed-out wheeled bin symbol is attached to a product it means the product is
covered by the European Directive 2002/96/EC.
2. All electrical and electronic products should be disposed of separately from the municipal
waste stream via designated collection facilities appointed by the government or the local
authorities.
3. The correct disposal of your old appliance will help prevent potential negative consequences
for the environment and human health.

in the user manual. This guarantee does not exclude national legislation that may exist in the
country of purchase in regards to warranty regulations.
When you make a claim under this guarantee, you must submit the original invoice or receipt
with clear mention of the date of purchase, name of retailer and the description and model
number of the appliance. You are advised to keep these documents in a safe place.
This device is intended for domestic use only. Damage and / or malfunctions as the result of
industrial or commercial use are excluded from the warranty.
The guarantee for this appliances expires if:
-The original invoice or receipt has in one way or another been changed or made illegible;
-The model or serial number on the product has been changed, removed, deleted or made
illegible;
-Repairs have been executed by unauthorized repair workshops or persons who are not
authorized to do so;
-The damage is the result of an external cause, such as fire damage, water damage, transport
damage, atmospheric discharges, insufficient or improper maintenance;
-The appliance has been operated in another country than for which originally designed,
approved, released and produced, as well as defects occurred as the result of such
modifications;
-The appliance has not been used according to the guidelines and directions in the user
manual supplied with the product.
In the unlikely event your appliance is not functioning well or shows any defect, please contact
