MoonBikes Motors oers a warranty on its products against defects in materials or workmanship. This
warrantycoverspartsandlaborcoststorepairorreplacedefectivepartsandbeginsonthedateofdelivery.
Thiswarrantyistransferabletoanotherownerduringthewarrantyperiod,butsuchtransferwillnotextend
theoriginalwarrantyperiod.Thedurationof thiswarrantymayvarybyinternationalregiondependingon
locallawsandregulations.
Unlessotherwisespeciedinyourpurchaseorder,ourdefaultwarrantywillbeasfollowsandsubjectinall
casestoourgeneraltermsofsale:
Your MoonBike is guaranteed for 2 years or 932 miles (whichever comes rst) from the date of delivery
(foranewMoonBikeandbattery:thisdoesnotapplytosecond-handand refurbishedmodels),againstany
manufacturing or design defect. Wear parts (track, slides, carbide, ski, brake pads and discs, shocks) are
excludedfromthewarranty.
Thebatteryisguaranteedfor1yearfromthedateofdelivery,providedthattheconditionsofuseandstorage
areobserved(seepage15,under«Use»).
Thewarrantydoesnotcoverimproperuse,handlingorrepairofthemachine.Formoreinformation,please
refertothedetailedwarrantyintheGeneralTermsandConditionsofSale(GTCS)ofourwebsite.

ItisstrictlyforbiddentouseyourMoonBikeonthepublicroadswheretracis
sujectedtotheHighwayCode.Withoutspecialauthorization,itmustbeusedon
private land or on snowmobile dedicated trails. Please refer to and respect the
regulations in force in your country/state/region. MoonBikes are not designed
to be used on steep slopes (inclination > 40%) 1-2, oon ice, on a surface without
snow,oranyotherenvironmentnotconducivetoasafepractice.

Recharging should be done on a standard power outlet. Do not plug more than one charger (standard or
fast) into the same electrical outlet. The standard and fast chargers are compatible with standard and
performancebatteries.

For everyone’s safety, never ride your MoonBike after consuming alcohol or any substance or medication
thatmayimpairyourabilitytooperateamotorvehicle.
Atalltimes,beawareofyoursurroundingsandpeoplewhomaybeintheimmediatevicinityofyourvehicle,
especiallywhenchangingdirection.
Wedonotrecommendtakingapassengerandwearenotresponsibleforanydamagecausedbyapassenger.
Donotallowanyoneundertheageof15tooperatetheMoonBikes.Itistheresponsibilityoftheownerofthe
machine to teach any rider the proper and safe way to ride their MoonBike. Avoid risky behaviour, always
keepinginmindthesafetyofusers.
NeverexceedthemaximumpayloadoftheMoonBikesof255lbs,wedonotacceptanyresponsibilityforthe
transportofpassengers.

left handlebar, automatically stops power to the
motor.
Put your right hand through the cord connected to

When the red cap is not connected to the base, the
MoonBikewillnotoperate.

Usethebraketocontrolorreduceyourspeed,andstopyourMoonBike.
A switch located on the front of the battery box
allows the machine to be locked or turned on with
theignitionkey.

SETTING UP YOUR MOONBIKE
By default, your MoonBike is set to normal mode, an ideal mode to cruise in because the power is slightly
limitedtopreservethebatterycharge.
To change the performance mode, you must be at a
standstill.Pressthecentralbuttonofthedisplayfor
2seconds,thecurrentmodewillstartashing.
Do not try to accelerate, for safety, unhook the
magneticcircuitbreaker.
LED"S"isashing:
In SPORT mode, your MoonBike will be at its
maximum performance. The speed can reach 25
mph (or 40 km/h) and the acceleration will be
optimal.Thepowerwillbeaected.
To navigate between modes, press the left or right
buttons.

To conrm the mode selection, press the central
button. The LED corresponding to the selected
mode will blink rapidly (all 3 LEDs for the start
mode) and then all LEDs will light up when the
programhassavedtheselection.
AllLEDsareashing:
Inbeginnermode, yourMoonBikewillbelimitedto
12.43mph(or20km/h) withaverysoftacceleration
andapoweratits minimum. Thismodeisintended
to familiarize you with the machine. This mode is
also useful to move the MoonBike while walking
besideit.
LED"E"isashing:
In ECO mode, your MoonBike will be in economic
mode. The performances will be reduced and the
reactions smoother. The maximum speed will be
18.64mph (or 30 km/h). This mode is ideal for
beginners.
LED"N"isashing:
In NORMAL mode, your MoonBike will be in ride
mode.
This mode is ideal for group rides or to preserve
power.Thepowerwillbeslightlylimitedbutnotthe
speed.
- ThesettingchangeisvalidatedwhenthegreenLEDsturnobuttheblueLEDsremainlit.Turno
theMoonBike(ignitionkey+emergencystoponthehandlebars)for5secondsbeforeturningbackon.
- IfalltheLEDsgooutthenitisafailure.YouwillhavetoswitchotheMoonBikeandstartagain.

OPERATE YOUR MOONBIKE
BeforeeachuseofyourMoonBike:
- Makesurenoscrewsarelooseormissing.
- Checkfordamagetotheaccelerator,switches,plastichousingcontainingthebattery(ies),orthemotor.
- Checkthatyourbatteryissucientlycharged.
- Checkthatthesafetydevicesarefunctional(brake,circuitbreaker,emergencystoponthehandlebars).
- Makesureyourlightsarefunctional.
- Makesureyourbatteryisproperlystrappedin.
- Checkthatthebatteryboxisproperlylocked(keyed).
WARNING: MoonBikes Motors provides MoonBikes only for the purpose for which they are intended, so
youshouldnotuseMoonBikesforanyother purpose.Youacknowledgethatcombining,operatingor using
a MoonBike with products or accessories not supplied or approved by MoonBikes Motors can potentially
degrade or damage the product or the products or accessories with which it is combined. MoonBikes
Motorsisnotliableforanydamagetopersonsorpropertyoranydegradationresultingdirectlyorindirectly
fromsuchcombination,includingseriousbodily injury or death. Anymodicationtothevehicle’s original
equipment can also create a signicant safety hazard and increase the risk of personal injury. Therefore,
we strongly discourage you from installing any equipment on a MoonBike that may increase the speed or
power of the vehicle, or making any other modication to the vehicle for these purposes. When using our
MoonBikes, we strongly recommend wearing appropriate protective clothing, including a safety helmet
(wearingahelmetcanpreventseriousheadinjuries).
Afterstartingyourmachine,checkthatthefrontandrearlightsareworkingproperly.Ifthereisaproblem,
repairthembeforeuse.
To ensure a tight seal, check that the top cover is securely locked by ensuring that the keyed latch on the
frontisintheclosedpositionandthatthehingeonthebackofthebatteryboxisproperlyengaged.

Checkthatthebrakeisworkingproperlybeforeuse.Checktheuidlevelinthe
reservoiratthehandlebarbrakelever.
In the event of a malfunction, do not use your machine until all repairs have been made.
WARNING:thebrakeuidDOT4maycauseseriouseyeirritationandissuspectedofdamagingtheunborn
child.Donothandlewhithoutprotections.
An adjustment of the tension on the track must always be followed by an
adjustmentofthealignmentofthebrakecaliperwiththebrakedisc.
Pushthetrackupandmeasureitsmaximumdisplacement.Thevalueshouldbebetween30and50mm.
Ifnecessary,adjustthetensionorcontacttheMoonBikesservicedepartment.
Check track tension
Toperformthisoperation:
- Loosenthebrakecaliperandmotornut.
- Loosenthelocknutontheeyebolt.
- Usetheeyeboltnuttotightenthetrack,
checkingthesymmetryofadjustmentonbothsides
ofthetrack.
- Tightenthenutandlocknuttogetherwhen
properlyadjusted.
- Tightenthebrakecaliperandmotornut.
Check the brakes
- The thickness of the pad linings must not be
lessthan1mm.
- The plates must not be polluted by an external
source(e.g.oil).

Onlevelgroundandinasafeenvironment,start
the machine, accelerate slightly and press the
brakelevertoensureproperoperation.
