OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
SELECT FUNCTION
1. The appliance will be on standby upon power on with display panel showing 0:F
2. Press the “Function/ Cancel” button. Selected function will illuminate accordingly. The
display will show the default time. Press “Time+”, “Time-” to adjust the required cooking
time. The appliance will begin operation in 10 seconds upon selection.
3. The appliance will sound an alarm for 1 minute upon completion of operation. It will
then shift to “keep warm” mode and the display will show ”-:--”.
4. If dry boiling occurs during the “keep warm” state, the appliance will sound an alarm for
40 seconds before shutting off. All function lights will disappear and display will show
“O:F”
5. The appliance will be in standby mode after cooling down and the display will show
“0:0”
PRESET
Press “Preset” button followed by “Time+” to adjust the desired cooking times. When the
display shows the desired time, press the “Function/ Cancel” button to select the desired
cooking function. Press “Time+” or “Time-” button to select the desired cooking times and
the appliance will begin operation.
STEW
1. Place food into containers. Add water into containers, enough to immerse food. Cover
the container lids.
2. Place steam plate into water container, then place food containers onto the steam plate.
Add water into the water container, not exceeding the maximum level mark and cover
the upper lid.
NOTE A: Appliance won’t operate without water inside the water container. This is a
safety feature to prevent the appliance from boiling dry.
NOTE B: Add more water into the water container if water dries out but food is not yet
ready.
STEAM
Place steam plate into water container. Add water into the water container, not exceeding
the maximum level mark. Place food containers onto the plate and cover the upper lid.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Empty the water tank before cleaning, using a damp cloth. Do not use any hard tool or
metal scourer to prevent from damaging the exterior finishing.
2. Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet after every use.
3. Never immerse the appliance in water or rinse it under running water.
4. Store appliance in a cool, ventilated place if it is not to be used for a long duration.
5. CAUTION: Ceramic containers are fragile. Please handle with care.
1. Always ensure that the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local
rated voltage before connecting the appliance to the power supply.
2. Do not place the appliance on or near heat sources or in a hot oven, as doing so
could pose a safety hazard.
3. Never leave the appliance in operation unattended. Keep away from children.
4. Do not use the appliance if the appliance or its power cord is damaged, or the
appliance shows visible damage or does not work properly.
5. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
6. Do not allow the power cord to come into contact with hot surfaces.
7. Exercise caution during operation, as there is a danger of hot steam. Keep your hands
and face at a safe distance from the steam and from the air outlet openings. Also be
careful of hot steam and air when you remove the containers from the appliance.
8. Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquids.
9. Do not move the appliance when it is still operating or when it contains hot liquid or
food.
10. NEVE touch the appliance when it is cooking.
11. Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet immediately after use, when
moving it or prior to any cleaning or maintenance.
12. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the appliance.
13. NEVE operate the appliance using an individual timer or remote control.
14. DO NOT forcibly turn the knob to avoid damage to the appliance.
15. Add water or unplug the appliance from the power outlet when it dry-burns. DO NOT
touch the heating element.
16. Do not place the appliance on or near combustible materials such as a tablecloth or
curtain.
17. Do not use the appliance for any other purpose than described in this manual.
