O ly qualified perso s may perform the i stallatio procedures. You do ot eed to
be a expert i motio co trol to i stall a d operate the drive system. However,
you must have a basic u dersta di g of electro ics, computers, mecha ics, a d
safety practices.
The FLEXI PRO utilizes hazardous voltages.
Be sure the drive is properly grounded.
Whe co ecti g the FLEXI PRO to other co trol equipme t, be sure to
follow two basic guideli es to preve t damage to the drive:
The FLEXI PRO must be grou ded via the earth grou d of the mai
AC voltage supply.
A y motio co troller, PLC or PC that is co ected to the FLEXI PRO
must be grou ded to the same earth grou d as the FLEXI PRO.
Before you i stall the FLEXI PRO, review the safety i structio s i the product
docume tatio . Failure to follow the safety i structio s may result i perso al
