8CARE AND SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS/PRECAUTIONS
Safety devices and sensors
For your safety, when modules are moved au-
tomatically, they are monitored by safety de-
vices and sensors to prevent injury or damage.
Safety devices and sensors such as lateral
photoelectric sensors monitoring the modules
in the direction of motion, pressure-sensitive
bases and the momentum clutch must not be
removed, bypassed or covered up.
Removing or opening covers is prohibited un-
less required by these operating instructions.
Disconnecting or interrupting the electrical
protection systems and removing the protec-
tive ground (earth) conductor is prohibited. If
the MOVEment system’s mains connection is
damaged it must be replaced by the manufac-
turer, its customer services team or someone
with similar qualications to avoid hazard.
The use of heat or ame-producing devices
around the modules is prohibited.
Liquids must not be placed on the wall con-
nector.
While the modules are moving there must be
no people on, in or between the modules or
around the wall connector.

9PRECAUTIONS
Climbing on the modules or sitting on the sur-
faces of the modules or the wall connector is
prohibited.
The maximum load for each module is 300 kg.
The maximum loads for the shelves, surfaces
and the bed must not be exceeded. The maxi-
mum loads are as follows:
• max. 20 kg per shelf (all modules)
• max. 20 kg per drawer (all modules)

(bed module)

• max. 300 kg in the bed area, including people
and contents of bed (bed module)
• 0 kg on wall connector
The posts and horizontal connectors of the bed
module are designed to stabilise the module
and house the sensors. Applying loads to the
posts and horizontal connectors is prohibited.
Do not x sharp objects to the modules. This
can lead to injury or malfunction, especially in
the direction of travel.
Free-roaming and free-ying pets must not be
kept in apartments with MOVEment systems.
PRECAUTIONS

10 GENERAL TIPS AND INSTRUCTIONS
• Objects in and on the modules can shift or tip over
when the modules move. Make sure fragile objects
and receptacles containing liquids are secured!
• While modules are moving, all objects on the oor
between modules must be cleared away.
• Objects such as bedclothes, cables, etc., open doors
or drawers that protrude in the direction of motion
into the area monitored by the photoelectric sensors
can prevent automatic movement of the modules.
This is indicated when the status indicator for the
module in question blinks red on the relevant con-
trol panel.
• Before moving the modules, make sure that all the
doors and drawers of the modules are closed, and
remove objects that protrude into the areas moni-
tored by the photoelectric sensors.
• Objects protruding beyond the surfaces of modules
or above the wall connector can be damaged or acti-
vate the sensors and prevent the modules from mov-
ing automatically.
GENERAL TIPS AND INSTRUCTIONS
A MOVEment system may only be installed and
used indoors.

11GENERAL TIPS AND INSTRUCTIONS
• Notify us if the system shows signs of damage or
wear.
• For service, maintenance and repair the tenant must
make sure there is access to the MOVEment system,
