INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing this product
You may already be familiar with using a similar product, but do please take time to
read these instructions – they have been written to ensure that you get the very best
from your purchase.
Safety is important
To ensure your safety and safety of others, please ensure you read the Product Safety
and Electrical Safety information before you operate this product.
Please pay particular attention to any warnings and cautions contained
in these instructions.
Keep these instructions in a safe place for future reference.

PRODUCT SAFETY
IMPORTANT
The mains lead of this product is not replaceable by the user.
If the mains lead is damaged, the appliance should be taken to an authorised
service centre, for repair.
Please read these instructions carefully before using your stick vacuum for
the rst time and retain for future reference.
• Make sure that the voltage indicated on the rating plate is the same as your
household supply. If not, do not use the stick vacuum and return it to the place
of purchase.
• To protect against a risk of electric shock, do not immerse any part of the stick
vacuum in water or any other liquids.
• Never yank the cord to disconnect from the power outlet, always grasp the plug
and pull to disconnect.
• Do not allow the power cord to touch hot surfaces.
• Do not operate the vacuum with a damaged power cord or plug, or if the
appliance or any other part of the appliance has been dropped or damaged.
To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble or attempt to repair
the stick vacuum. Return the unit to an authorised Service Centre,
for examination and repair. Incorrect re-assembly or repair can cause a risk of
electrical shock or injury to persons when the stick vacuum is used.
• Close supervision is necessary for any appliance being used by or near children.
Do not leave the stick vacuum unattended while connected to the mains supply.
• Keep hair, loose clothing, ngers and all parts of body away from openings
and moving parts.
• Do not use to pick up ammable or combustible liquids such as gasoline
or use in areas where they may be present.
• Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking such as cigarettes, matches
or hot ashes.
• Do not use the vacuum without the dust container lter in place.
• Do not leave the stick vacuum plugged in when unattended.
Unplug the electrical cord when not in use and before servicing.

• Do not allow the stick vacuum to be used as a toy. Close supervision is necessary
when used by or near children, pets or plants.
• Do not pull the power cord, use the cord as a handle, close a door on the cord,
or pull the cord around sharp edges or corners. Turn o all controls as applicable
before unplugging from your electrical outlet.
• Do not handle the mains plug or vacuum with wet hands or operate
without shoes.
• Do not put any objects into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked.
Keep free of dust, lint, hair and anything else that may reduce air ow.
• Use only on dry surfaces.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY
IMPORTANT
Read these instructions thoroughly before using this appliance or connecting it
to the mains supply.
A 13 amp BS1362 ASTA approved fuse must be tted.
There are no user-serviceable parts inside this appliance. Always refer servicing
to qualied service personnel. The mains lead of this product is not replaceable
by the user. If the mains lead is damaged, the entire appliance should be returned
to an authorised Service Centre for repair.
Do not allow this product to be exposed to rain or moisture during use or storage.
Before switching on, make sure that the voltage of your electricity supply is the same
as that indicated on the rating plate. Connecting it to any other power source may
cause damage.
This product may be tted with a non-rewireable plug. If it is necessary to change
the fuse in the plug, the fuse cover must be retted. If the fuse cover becomes lost
or damaged, the plug must not be used until a suitable replacement is obtained.
If the plug has to be changed because it is not suitable for your socket, or due to
damage, it should be cut o and a replacement tted. Follow the wiring instructions
shown. The old plug must be disposed of safely because inserting it into a 13 amp
socket could cause an electrical hazard.

The wires in the power cable of this product are coloured in accordance
with the following code:
Blue = Neutral Brown = Live
If the markings on the terminals of your plug do not correspond to the colours
of the wires in the power cable, proceed as follows:
• The wire which is coloured Blue must be connected to the terminal
which is marked Nor coloured Black
• The wire which is coloured Brown must be connected to the terminal
which is marked Lor coloured Red.
DO NOT connect any wires to the Earth Terminal.
This symbol indicates that this 2-core appliance is Class II and does not require
an earth connection.

Ensure that the outer sheath of the cable
is rmly held by the clamp.
Plug should be BS1363/A approved.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
IMPORTANT
Always remove the mains plug from the wall outlet before assembling or removing
accessories.
Inserting extension tube into the main body
• On the hand vac handle, pull open the handle port and insert the extension tube
until the locking clip is sitting rmly on the handle.
• Push the handle port closed so that it snaps shut.
Attaching the Crevice Tool and the Floor Brush to the Main Body
• Push the crevice tool or oor brush into the suction hole opening.
The following are recommendations for accessory usage:
Crevice Tool
For radiators, crevices, corners, base-boards and between cushions.
Floor Brush
For all kinds of ooring, including carpeted and tiled oors.
Caution: The suction hole opening must be open and free of any obstructions at all
times. Otherwise, the motor will overheat and could become damaged.

Power Switch
• Push on the power switch to turn on the unit
• Push on the power switch again to turn o the unit.
Using the vacuum as an upright
• Insert the extension tube into the hand vac.
• Choose the appropriate accessory (crevice tool or oor brush) and attach it
to the suction hole opening on to the hand vac.
• Press on the power switch to turn the unit on. When nished using the unit,
press the power switch again to turn the unit o.
• When nished using the unit, wind the power cord around the cord winding
hooks for easy storage.
Using the vacuum as a hand held
• Disconnect the extension tube from the hand vac by releasing the handle
port from the locking clip and removing the extension tube from the hand vac
handle. Once the extension tube is removed, snap the handle port shut.
• You may choose to leave the crevice tool or oor brush attached to the vacuum
when operating.
• Press the “1” position on the On/O power switch to turn the unit on.
When nished using the unit, press the “0” position on the On/O power
switch to turn the unit o.

CLEANING
Cleaning and changing the dust container lter
In order to achieve the best performance, empty the dust container and
clean the dust container lter after each use.
1. To remove the dust container, press down on the dust container release button
and separate the dust container from the main unit.
2. Pull out the dust container lter.
3. Empty the dust from the dust container.
4. Rinse the dust container lter in cold water, and then let it air dry for 24 hours
before replacing it back in the dust container.
5. DO NOT use a washing machine to clean the dust container lter. Do not use a
hair dryer to dry it. AIR DRY ONLY.
6. Replace the dust container lter carefully into the dust container compartment.
NEVER operate the stick vac without the dust container lter in place.
7. Attach the dust container to the main body of the unit.
Note: It is recommended that the dust container lter be replaced every six (6) months
(depending on usage) to ensure peak performance of the unit.
Make sure that ALL lters are completely dry before re-installing back in the vacuum.

For details on where you can obtain replacement lters, you should contact customer
services quoting the product’s model number.

This product is guaranteed for a period of 2 years from the date of original purchase
when you simply register your product at: www.sensiohome.com
Any defect that arises due to faulty materials or workmaniship during the rst
12 months, will either be replaced or refunded where possible during this period by
the dealer from whom you purchased the unit.
NB: Non-registered products are guaranteed for a period of 12 months.
If a fault develops after 12 months and within 24 months from the date of original
purchase and you have registered the product on line, you should contact customer
services quoting the product’s model number and batch code.
The following conditions apply:
• The guarantee does not cover accidental damage, misuse, cabinet parts, knobs
or consumable items.
• The product must be correctly installed and operated in accordance with the
instructions contained in this manual.
• It must be used only for domestic purposes.
• The guarantee will be rendered invalid if the product is re-sold or has been
damaged by inexpert repair.
• Specications are subject to change without notice.
• The manufacturer disclaims any liability for the incidental
or consequential damages.
• The guarantee is in addition to, and does not diminish your statutory
or legal rights.
