O presente manual descreve as regras de operaçáo e
manutenção dos Maçaricos mtx®. Atenção
especial aos avisos. O não cumprimento das
instruçoes pode resultar em danos no equipamento
ou ferimentos.

GENERAL SAFETY RULES
1) Read this operation manual carefully and
follow the instructions. It is mandatory to
study the gas burner before igniting it and
using it. To ensure safe usage of the burner,
read this manual regularly. Do not work with
the burner before having read the manual.
2) Do not direct the burner at people and
ammable objects. Do not use the
burner as a cigarette lighter.
3) Disconnect the cylinder from the burner
every time you make a long break.
4) Under no circumstances try to alter the
design of the burner or use fuel of poor
quality.
5) Use the burner as cautiously as with any
other device. Avoid damaging it.
6) Do not use the burner in case of any leaks,
damages or other malfunctions.
7) Work only in well-ventilated areas.
8) Prevent liquid gas contact with eyes and
skin.
9) Always work on a refractory support un-
der the material being treated. If you are
re-proof material, do not
use the burner. Do not work in wooden and
metal surfaces. Always use protective equip-
ment when working.
10) Always use safety gloves and corre-
sponding tools for works connected with
elevated temperatures.
11) Mind the burner nozzle, as it can get
very hot in the course of burner using. Ad-
here to the safety rules to protect yourself
and the surrounding people from random
burns. Under no circumstances, use the
ammable materials.
Be particularly careful when you are close to
ammable
objects, beware tanks with combustibles.
12) In order to avoid accident overturning of
the tool, always keep the gas cylinder and
burner in vertical position.
13) When defrosting pipes be careful, do not
overheat the pipe being heated, as well as
the surrounding materials.

1) When the work is done, close the gas
feed control valve until tight.
2) When the burner is cooled, in order to
inactivate it, turn the gas cylinder anti-
clockwise relative to the burner body, and
then place the burner and the gas cylinder
separately. Pay attention to the warning
label on the gas cylinder.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Portable gas burner designed for general
purpose. Energy source for the burner is
a usual gas cylinder with ring holder. The

The burner is used as self-contained heat
energy source for a range of works. In gen-
eral, it is used for the following works:
- Melting and welding of glass and plastic
products, including plastic pipes, synthetic
cords, and ropes.
- For works in low-melt metals and alloys
(lead, tin, zinc, aluminium, gold, silver, etc.),
particularly for soldering and welding;
- For heating various items, for example, to
facilitate frozen-up threaded joints bending;
- To remove old paint;

HOW TO IGNITE AND OPERATE
1) Use only butane and propane gas cylin-
ders of high quality.
2) Make sure the switching regulator is in
ON position.
3) In order to provide uniform feed of gas
to the burner, shake the cylinder several
times.
4) Turn the pressure regulator anticlock-
wise for 2/3 of one turn.
5) Push piezo-ignition button, and the
ame is to burn instantly.
IMPORTANT:
1) Propane gas cylinder contains liquid
propane. If you move, tilt, or turn the burn-
er together with the cylinder upside down
violently, the liquid can go to the valve, so

TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT:
1) To get the highest burning temperature,
adjust the length of ame
of the burner from 3.5 to 5 centimetres.
Adjust the additional air supply valve to
ame length.
- Shake the cylinder several times to create the best pressure inside, so that gas is fed in a
normal way.
- Holding the cylinder with one hand, align and connect the clamper of the burner smooth-
ly and tightly with the slot on the ring holder on the cylinder, with the other hand.
- Make sure the nozzle is tightly connected to the cylinder.
- Turn the burner relative to the cylinder until tight clockwise (see pic. 1, 2, and 3).
- The nozzles are also to be disconnected when the valve is closed in the reverse order.

1) Leia este manual de operação com

acendê-lo e usá-lo. Para garantir a
utilização segura do Maçaric , leia este
manual regularmente. Não trabalhe com
o Maçarico antes de ter lido o manual.
2) Não direcionar o Maçarico para
pessoas e objetos altamente inamáveis.
Não use o Maçarico como um isqueiro.
3) Desconecte o cilindro do Maçarico
cada vez que você faz uma longa parada.
4) Em nenhuma circunstância tente
alterar o projeto do combustível do
Maçarico ou uso utilizar combustível de
má qualidade.
5) Utilize o Maçarico com precaução
como qualquer outro dispositivo. Para
evitar acidentes.
6) Não use o queimador em caso de
vazamentos, danicado ou com outras
avarias.
7) Utilize somente em locais bem
ventilados.
8) Evite o contato do gás-líquido com os
olhos e pele.
9) Sempre trabalhe com o material preso
a um suporte. Se você não está certo de
que este é um material à prova de fogo,
não utilize em superfícies de madeira e
metal. Sempre usar equipamentos de
proteção durante o trabalho.
10) Utilize sempre luvas de segurança e
ferramentas correspondentes para
trabalhos relacionados com
temperaturas elevadas.
11) Cuidado com o bico do Maçarico,
como ele pode car muito quente no
curso do Maçarico. Observar as regras
de segurança para proteger você e as
pessoas torno de você para evitar
queimaduras aleatórias. Sob nenhuma
circunstância, nunca utilize o Maçarico
perto de materiais altamente
inamáveis. Tenha cuidado especial
quando você está perto de veículos,
bem como quaisquer objetos
altamente inamáveis, cuidado com os
tanques de combustíveis.
12) Para evitar acidentes, mantenha
sempre o cilindro de gás e o Maçarico
em posição vertical.
13) Tenha cuidado com o cilindro, não
superaquecer o tubo, bem como os
materiais em torno.
14) Mantenha sempre um extintor de
incêndio ou um balde com água perto
do local onde esta sendo realizado o
trabalho. Eles devem estar perto para
que você possa facilmente chegar a ate
eles em caso de incêndio.

IMPORTANTE! FOGO PERIGOSO. CILINDRO DE ALTA PRESSÃO
Mantenha o cilindro longe de
temperaturas elevadas ou fogo. Não
reabasteça o cilindro de gás. Quando o
cilindro estiver vazio, sempre compre
um novo. Mantenha o cilindro fora do
alcance das crianças. Mantenha o
cilindro longe do sol direto. Não
armazene o cilindro em ambientes com
temperatura elevadas. Sempre retire o
cilindro após o uso. Não inalar a fumaça,
gás, vapor ou spray.
Em caso de aspiração de gás, mover a
pessoa afetada para um local arejado.
Evitar o contato com gás liquefeito nos
olhos ou pele. Em caso de contato com a
pele, lavar em água abundante. Em caso
de contato com os olhos, lavar
imediatamente os olhos com água e
procurar orientação médica. Não
arremessar o cilindro no fogo. Não
perfurar ou queimá-lo.
IMPORTANTE:
1) Quando terminar o trabalho, feche a
válvula de controle de alimentação do
gás até o nal.
2) Quando o Maçarico estiver frio, de
modo a acidentes, virar o cilindro de gás
para a esquerda em relação ao corpo do
queimador, e em seguida colocar o
Maçarico e o cilindro de gás separado.
Preste atenção na etiqueta de aviso
sobre o cilindro de gás.
INFORMAÇÃO GERAL
Maçarico de gás portátil projetado para
uso geral. Fonte de energia para o
queimador é um cilindro de gás comum,
com anel de vedação. O Maçarico produz
chama rme e resistente ao vento e
chuva, com temperatura em cerca de
1300-1450 º C.
O Maçarico é usado como fonte de
energia e calor para vários trabalhos. Em
geral, é usado para as seguintes obras:
- Fusão e soldagem de vidro e materiais
plásticos, incluindo os tubos de plástico,
cordões sintéticos, e de cabos;
- Para trabalhos em metais e ligas de
baixa fusão (chumbo, estanho, zinco,
alumínio, ouro, prata, etc),
particularmente para solda e selagem;
- Para aquecimento de vários itens, por
exemplo, para facilitar o
descongelamento juntas roscadas de
exão;
- Para remover tinta velha;
- Para iniciar o fogo (fogueira, lareira),
quando o clima está úmido ou a lenha
não esta seca.

COMO COLOCAR O MAÇARICO NO CILINDRO DE GÁS

- Certique-se que o cilindro está em conformidade com o Maçarico;
- Use os cilindros com gás liquefeito de boa qualidade para conectar;
- Certique-se que o Maçarico está com a válvula de alimentação de gás fechado o
símbolo "-" é mostrado no Maçarico de alimentação do gás;
- Agitar o cilindro várias vezes para criar a melhor pressão dentro, de modo que o gás saia
de maneira normal;
- Segurar o cilindro com uma mão, alinhar e conectar o prendedor do Maçarico de forma
suave e rmemente com a ranhura no suporte de anel no cilindro, com a outra mão;
- Alinhar o bico em relação ao cilindro até travar;
- Vire o Maçarico em relação ao cilindro até car apertado no sentido horário (ver foto 1,
2 e 3.);
- O bico esta desligado, quando a válvula está fechada na ordem inversa.
COMO ACENDER E OPERAR
1) Use apenas butano e cilindros de gás propano de alta qualidade;
2) Verique se o regulador de comutação está na posição ON;
3) A m de fornecer alimentação uniforme de gás para o Maçarico, agitar o cilindro por
algum tempo;
4) Gire o regulador de pressão no sentido contrário para 2/3 de uma vez;
5) Aperte o botão de ignição piezo-e, a chama acende instantaneamente.

IMPORTANTE:
1) Cilindro de gás propano contém propano líquido. Se você move, inclinação, ou ligar o
Maçarico juntamente com a cabeça do cilindro para baixo violentamente, o líquido pode
ir para a válvula, por isso pode resultar em uma faísca de fogo. Para evitar isso, ajustar o
comprimento da chama para 1/4 do comprimento máximo da chama do Maçarico, deixar
o Maçarico aquecer durante 3 minutos, e depois suavemente ajustar o nível desejado de
queima.
2) Verique se o Maçarico está frio antes de xar ou remover a cabeça do Maçarico, bem
como antes de montar ou desmontar os acessórios;
3) Operação em temperatura fria:
a) Quando o tempo está frio, a chama é menor. Para obter uma maior chama, esperar
até o Maçarico e cilindro estar à temperatura ambiente antes de usar o Maçarico;
b) Lembre-se, é possível que a chama apague se você ligar o Maçarico de cabeça para
baixo.
REGULAGEM DA TEMPERATURA:
Para obter a temperatura de combustão mais elevada, ajustar o comprimento da chama
(azul) interno do Maçarico 3,5 a 5 cm. Ajuste a válvula de alimentação de ar adicional para
obter o comprimento da chama total necessário.
