Technical data
Model No: HMD02
Standard Output: 140ml/h
Water Tank Volume: 2.0 litre
Noise Level: < 35 dB (A)
Rated Voltage: AC 100-240V
Frequency: 50/60Hz
Rated Power input: 25W
N.W/G.W: 0.75kg/1.07kg
Working Principle:
The mx Ultrasonic Humidier uses a ultrasonic high-frequency oscillator to break up water
into tiny water particles with a diameter of about 1-5um.The ventilation system blows out this
water into the dry air where they evaporate to give the required humidity. The clearly visible
smooth and even mist can be seen emitting from of the unit.
Features:
Highly efcient humidication.
Low energy consumption, save 85-90 percent of electricity of normal stream humidier.
Highly durable.
Automatic switch off for no water.
Correct Humidity Level:
What exactly is relative humidity: Relative humidity of the air is the amount of water that is
present in the air compared to the greatest amount it would be possible for the air to hold at
that temperature. The higher the temperature, the more the air holds water vapour. When cold
air is articially heated up to a comfortable temperature in winter, the relative humidity drops.
In order to keep a comfortable environment at home, we need to articially add water or water
vapour to room air. This is known as air humidication.
Ideal relative humidity levels under different situations.
The most comfort RH for human being: 45-65%RH
Ideal RH for prophylactic and curative purpose: 40-55%RH
Computer and telecom apparatuses: 45-60%RH
Furniture and musical instrument: 40-60%RH
Library, art gallery and museums: 40-60%RH
Function of mx HMD02 Ultrasonic Humidier:
To regulate relative humidity of the indoor room air;
To eliminate electrostatic charges;
To assist with protective functions of the nasal mucosa and respiratory system

Safety Guidelines:
Warning: Please be aware of the following points otherwise you might in danger if high
voltage charges or but your body.
1) Never disassemble the base unit yourself.
2) If the supply cord is damaged, please discontinue use.
3) If there is any abnormal smell during normal operation, please switch off and disconnect
power supply and notify the retailer from whom you purchased the unit.
4) Unplug appliance during lling, cleaning and maintenance.
5) Do not add detergents or chemical solutions into the unit.
6) Never allow the water basin to touch water when the unit is in use.
7) Never switch on the unit when there is no water in the water basin.
8) Never scrape the Ultrasonic Atomizing Transducer.
9) Never clean the Ultrasonic Atomizing Transducer with detergents or chemical solutions.
10) Never let water splash into the inner Base Unit when cleaning.
11) Never move the machine while the water tank is full.
12) Position the unit on an even surface and keep the machine at least 2 meters far away
from furniture and other electrical appliances.
13) This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
14) Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
15) Only use water in the tank, never use any additive such as essential oils, etc. into the
water.

*Operating Instructions
When using the unit for the rst time, leave the unit in room temperature for half of an hour
before running (Especially when the outdoor temperature is lower than 5°C).
It is recommended to use the unit within a temperature range of 5-40°C, relative humidity of
less than 80%RH.
Use clear water not over 40°C.
Check the water basin, to make sure it is clear.
Operation steps:
1. Take the water tank (3) out of the base (7),
2. Twist the Valve-cap to LOOSEN (4)
3. Fill the water tank (3) with clear water
4. Twist the Valve-cap to FASTEN (4)
5. Put the water tank (3) onto the base (7) carefully
6. Put the Nozzle (1) into the socket on top of the water tank (3)
7. Connect the adapter to the unit, switch on the unit (NEVER RUN THE UNIT WHEN THERE
IS NO WATER IN THE WATER BASIN)
8. The indicator light will flash once with one beep. The unit will be in standby mode.
9. To adjust the pressure of misting:
a. Press control button once for a higher pressure mist. The unit will beep once.
b. Press control button a second time for lower pressure misting. The unit will beep twice.
c. Press control button a third time to switch the humidier off. The unit will beep once,
and the control button light will turn off.
10. This device is now ready for use.
NOTE When there is not enough water in the tank, the unit will stop working automatically with
the red indicator light flashing and the unit will beep for 20 seconds

*Trouble Shooting Guide
If you experinecec any trouble found in normal operation, please kindly refer to the following
points:
Trouble Possible reasons Possible Solutions
Indicator light is on,
no air pressure, no mist
No water in water tank Fill tank with water
Too much water in the water

Pour out some water from
the water basin, then close
the cover of water tank
tightly.
Abnormal smelling mist New unit Pour out water from the tank,
open the cover, leave it for
12 hours in a cool place
Dirty water left in the tank for
a long time
Clean the water tank, ll with

*Maintenance:
In case when the water is hard, which means the water contains too much calcium and
magnesium, white scaling can occur on the water basin, transducer and inner surface of the
water tank. The unit will not work effectively if scaling is present. If this occurs, the following
is recommended:
1) Clean the transducer, water tank and basin unit every week.
2) Use cooled boiled or distilled water.
3) Change the water in water tank regularly to keep it fresh.
4) Ensure you remove all water from the water tank and dry all parts including the water basin
before you store the unit unused for a long period of time.
5) Do not use chemicals for cleaning.
How to clean the transducer:
1) Put 5-10 drops of vinegar on the surface of the transducer, wait for 2-5 minutes;
2) Brush out the scale on the surface.
3) Rinse the transducer with clean water.
How to clean the basin unit:
1) Clean the water basin with soft cloth and the vinegar if there is scale in it.
2) If the scale is covered on the security switch, drop the vinegar on the scale and clean it out
with the brush.
3) Rinse the water basin with clean water.
DISPOSAL:
Please dispose of this device responsibly, in according with environmental guidelines of your
country.
