Assembly
Step 1: After removing all parts, tilt unit
onitsback.Shrinkwrapwillinsureeating
tables remain unfolded and undamaged

Step 2: Hand screw 4 caster wheels.
Lock each wheel and hand screw all the
waytopreventunbalancedunit.
Step 3: PlaceSupportRack.Makesureto

liesdirectlyunderneaththegasvalvehose.
Step 4: Stand Unit (2 adults required).

Operating Instructions
Lighting Instructions (Burner)
1.EnsuretheGasSupplyCylinderValveisclosedandtheburnerknobsaresettotheoffposition.
2.Openthevalveonthegassupplycylinder.
3.Pressinandrotatetheburnerknobcounterclockwisetothe“HI”position.Youshouldhere
acontinuousclickingsoundindicatingthatasparkisbeingprovidedtotheburner.(Ifclicking
soundisweak,replacebattery.)
4.Ifignitiondoesnottakeplacewithin4seconds,turntheburnerknobtotheoffposition,and
wait5minutestorepeatlightingprocedure.
5.Repeatsteps4-6tolightthesecondsideburner.
6. CAUTION: Do not leave the My Hibachi B.B.Q. unattended while cooking.
If the electronic ignition does not light the top burner, the burner can be lit manually using a
long match (or taper).
1.RemoveormovetheGriddleplatetothesidesoyoucanseetheburner.
2.EnsuretheGasSupplyCylinderValveisclosedandtheburnerknobissettotheoffposition.
3.Placealitmatch(ortaper)overtheburnerneartheigniter.
4. Pressinandrotatetheburnerknobcounterclockwiseslowlytothe“HI”setting.Makesure
match(ortaper)islitbeforeturningtheknob.
5.Ifignitiondoesnottakeplacewithin4seconds,turntheburnerknobtotheoffposition,and
wait5minutestorepeatlightingprocedure.
6. CAUTION: Do not leave the My Hibachi B.B.Q. unattended while cooking.
Extinguishing the Burner Flame
1.DepressandrotateburnerknobtoOFF.
2. LiquidPropane:Closethevalveonthegassupplycylinder.
Eating Tables:
Oureatingtablesweredesignedforaneasysetupnotoolsrequired,allyoudoisliftand
snap.Firststartbyliftingbothsideeatingtablesthenliftbacksiderandunfoldbothcorners.
Cornersshouldrestontopofbothsideeatingtablestoinsuresupport.Tocloseeatingtableslift
snapanddrop.

Cleaning and Maintenance
General Overview:
Propercare,maintenance,andcleaningwillhelpensurealonglifeofyourMyHibachiB.B.Q..
Periodiccleaningwillhelpavoidaccumulationsofammablegrease,fats,andotherdebris.
Somedebrisandresiduemayremainontheburnergratesandthegriddleplate.Pleasefollow
thedirectionbelowcarefully:
Caution: Always allow the unit to cool before cleaning the complete unit. When Cleaning the
Griddle Plate it is best to clean when hot as indicated below.
Burner Grates:
Wipeupallspill-overassoonaspossibleaftertheyoccurandbeforetheygetachanceto
burninandcooksolid.TheBurnercanbecleanedwithabrassorstainlesssteelbristlebrush
andsoapywater.Standardovencleanermaybeusedfordeepercleaning.RinsetheBurner
thoroughlywithcleanwaterbeforeusing.
Griddle Plate:
Rubthesurfaceofahotgriddlewithunsaltedsolidshortening,vegetableoilorsprayitwith
anon-stickcookingspray.Thoroughlywipeitwitharoughclothtoremovefoodparticles
andotherresidue.Specialgriddlecleanersarecommerciallyavailablewhichmaybeusedto
removeheavysoilbuild-up.Followmanufacturer’sdirectionsexactly.Rinsethegriddlewith
roomtemperaturewaterafterusingthesecleaners.Dryandcoatlightlywithcookingoil.
Caution: Using hot soapy water to clean the griddle will remove the cooked-in seasoning and
will require re-seasoning by coating lightly with cooking oil.
Thegreasetraycollectsgrease,liquidandfoodparticles.Itishighlyrecommendedtocleanthe
panaftereveryusetoavoidanypossibilityofagreasere.Allowthetrayanditscontentsto
coolbeforecleaning.Thegreasetrayislocatedinfrontofthegriddleplateassembly.Slightlytilt
thegreasetrayforwardandliftthetraytoremoveitfromthegriddleplateassembly.Wipethe
greasetraycleanwithaclothandwashwithahotsoapysolution.Makesurethegreasetrayis
fullyre-insertedbackintoyourMyHibachiB.B.Q..
Spider and Insect Warning:
Spidersandotherinsectscannestintheburnersandoricesofthisandanyotheroutdoor
products,whichcausesthegastoowfromthefrontoftheburner.Thiscancreateadangerous
conditionthatcancausearebehindthevalvepanel,damagingtheMyHibachiB.B.Q.and
makingitunsafetooperate.
Inspecttheburneronceayear,orifhasnotbeenusedformorethanamonthorifanyofthe
followingconditionsoccur:
1.Thesmellofgasinconjunctionwiththeburneramesappearingyellow.
2. Theappliancedoesnotreachtemperature.
3.Theburnermakespoppingnoises.

0.Providedwithacylinderconnectiondevicecompatiblewiththeconnectionforoutdoor
cookingappliances.
Itmustbeprovidedwithashut-offvalveterminatingingastankvalveoutlet.Itmustinclude
acollartoprotectthecylindervalve.Thecylindersupplysystemmustbearrangedfor
vaporwithdrawal.
DonotoperatetheMyHibachiB.B.Q.indoorsorinanyenclosedarea.IfMyHibachi
B.B.Q.isnotinuse,thegasmustbeturnedoffatthesupplycylinder.IftheMyHibachi
B.B.Q.istobestoredindoors,disconnectthegassupplycylinderandleavethe
cylinderoutdoors.

Liquid Propane Gas Connection
WARNING:
The gas supply hose should be inspected prior to each use. Do not use a gas hose that has
abrasions, cuts, or excessive wear.
The gas supply must be turned off at the LP Gas supply cylinder and the LP Gas supply
cylinder must be disconnected from the regulator when this outdoor cooking gas appliance
is not in use.
When stored indoors, remove and store the LP Gas cylinder outdoors in a protected, cool,
and dry location out of reach of children. The cylinder should not be stored in a building,
garage, or any other enclosed area.
CAUTION:
Storethecylinderinanuprightpositionsothatthecylindervalveisatthetop.Thiswill
ensurepropervaporwithdrawal.
Thecylinderusedmustincludeacollartoprotectthecylindervalve.
Storeanyspareorextragascylinder(s)inacool,wellventilatedoutdoorlocationatleast
15feetfromtheMyHibachiB.B.Q.andotheropename,heat-producingappliance(s)or
heatsource.
NOTE:Anenclosureforapropanegascylindershallbeventedbyopeningsonthelevel
ofthecylindervalveandatoorlevel.Theeffectivenessoftheopening(s)forpurposesof
ventilationshallbedeterminedwiththepropanegassupplycylinderinplace.Thisshallbe
accomplishedbyoneofthefollowing:
a.Onesideoftheenclosureshallbecompletelyopen;or,
b.Foranenclosurehavingfoursides,atopandabottom:
—Atleasttwoventilationopeningsatcylindervalvelevelshallbeprovidedinthesidewall,

Connectthe3/8”Flareendofthehosetothe3/8”Flareendofthebrasscouplingonthe
unitusinga3/4”openwrench.Donotapplypipesealant.
3.ConnecttheregulatortotheLPcylinder.Donotuseanytools.Hand-tightentheregulator.
4.Checkforleaksusingasoapywatersolution.
5.SeegureaboveforatypicalLPgashookup.
6. Todisconnectafteruse,turntheburnerknobtotheOFFposition.ClosetheCylinder
ValvebyturningtheHandWheelcounter-clockwiseuntilitstops.
7.DisconnecttheregulatorfromtheLPcylinderafteruse.
