To remove the car holder, please flip
the level down toward the device.
Pull the suction cup away
from the windshield.

Turning on for the first time
Using the Product
Follow the steps provided below to activate G4
Caution:
The time and alarm settings on the G4 will be restored to factory
default (time = 00:00 with the alarm disabled) every time the power
switch is pushed to “OFF”. It is not necessary to turn the G4 off
unless it will not be used for an extended period of time.

Insert the Micro SD card into the G4 (be sure to insert it in the correct
orientation) until a “click” is heard. Next, push the power switch
(located at the bottom of the unit) to “ON” (The power switch should
be at “OFF” when the product is shipped from the factory.)

Turning on for the first time
Located to the right of the display are four buttons for various operations (the
display itself offers touch screen functions). MTP operations are only available
in the main menu, the sub menu and file viewer. Basic MTP operations will be
covered below:
• Button operations: you will find four buttons on the MTP and their functions are as follows:
• Touch screen operations: the unit can perform various operations by detecting the user’s sliding movement on
the MTP. User may slide up or down on the MTP to correspond to the action of scrolling up/down in the menu.

Turning on for the first time
Initial Configurations
After activating the unit, the system will run the navigation software directly. At this point a warning screen appears. Tap I
Agree after you have read and agreed to the warning. The map view appears and you are ready to set your first destination!

Please Note:
1. Expect 30 seconds - 1 minute to acquire satellite signal.
2. You may experience interference of the satellite signal reception if you have solar
window film, anti-blast security film or anti-UV glass installed on your vehicle.
If so, you can enhance signal strength by purchasing an external antenna.

1. Tap Menu. The Menu appears. 2. Tap Destination. 3. Tap Address.
4. Tap Address. There are two ways
to enter the address:
by selecting the city first
by selecting the street first
You can set your destination the following ways:

to enter the house number. Tap OK

the location you want to go to and
tap Nav. The map appears, and the
guidance directions begin.
To Enter an Address as a Destination Using Street First

You can set your destination the following ways:

Other features
Apart from precise navigation functions, the G4 also offers other useful features such including Multimedia playback,
Bluetooth, PDA and Settings.
Other Features
Multimedia The multimedia player available on the G4 can be used to play music or view pictures/videos for you to
indulge in your favorite music, photographs and video clips at anytime, anywhere.

PDA The PDA functions available on the G4 include World Time and e-Compass.

Setting You can use the Setting function to configure settings on Data Time, Volume, Screen, Language and
Memory and System. You can tweak the G4 according to your preference and personalize your G4.

Additional Info
Please use the G4 in an environment in temperature between 0~40 degrees Centigrade, free from
condensation.
Avoid using the G4 in an environment with static electricity, excessive dust, extreme temperatures, high
humidity or places where the unit may be exposed to direct sunlight or strong UV radiation for extended
period of time.
‧ Do not use a third party ac adapter with the product or plug it to a socket on an outlet with another
appliance plugged in as it may lead to fire or electrocution.
‧ Do not modify the ac adapter; do not bend (excessively), twist or pull the cable as it may lead to fire or
electrocution.
‧
Do not damage the cable of the ac adapter; do not place heavy objects on the cable or expose it to
excessive heat. A damaged ac adapter may lead to fire or electrocution.
‧
Do not touch the ac adapter when your hands are damp to avoid potential electrocution.
‧
When not in use for an extended period of time, unplug the ac adapter from the socket.
‧
Clean the area around the electrodes regularly; dust buildup around the electrodes may lead to fire.
‧
Be sure to keep the ac adapter well away from furnaces or other heat sources; high temperature may
cause the layer of insulation covering the ac adapter to melt, which may lead to fire or electrocution.

The GPS (Global Positioning System) is provided by the United States Department of Defense. Refer to the information
published by the United States Department of Defense regarding the precision of the system.
For your safety during driving, do not operate the system while driving to avoid potential accidents.

This product, together with its original accessories, has been built in compliance with relevant EMC and safety
