Safety Information
Thank you for choosing the NavTour NT-147.
Please read this manual carefully before using your NavTour NT-147 and ensure
that you are aware of all correct handling procedures.
Warning
●Never attempt to disassemble or repair the AC adaptor on your own, and never
alter its cables or plugs as exposure could result in electric shock.
●Never use the product in a wet area or at places with moisture.
●Avoid hot areas: This product should be kept away from heat sources, such as
stoves, heaters, and do not mount this device in unventilated enclosures. Also
please do not expose the device to direct sun-light (like in parking cars).
●Make sure to turn down the volume before using headphones to prevent hearing
damage.
CE Compliance
This product and its original options are designed to meet the related EMC
(Electromagnetic compatibility) and safety standards. However, NavTour cannot
guarantee that this product still meets these EMC standards if options or cables not
produced by NavTour are connected or implemented. In this case, the persons who
have connected / implemented these options / cables have to make sure that the
system still meets the required standards. To avoid general EMC problems, the
following advice should be observed:
●Connect or use CE marked devices only.
●Connect only fully shielded cables as supplied with the device.

device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide
reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This

Special Notice
Warning!
The result of the GPS locating position is only a reference for the driver and should not
be used to alter the actual driving behaviour.
The electronic maps provided by the system are for reference usage only. The system
cannot be held responsible if you get lost or misuse the navigation system.
The driving directions, voice instructions and street information of the system are
suggestions generated by the optimal path calculation of the electronic map, they are
only for driver's reference, the driver must refer to the actual road conditions and to
decide his / her own way to destination. It is necessary to always abide by all traffic
laws.
Any usage of this product implies agreement with the terms stated in this manual.

The ability of the GPS to determine position can be affected by weather and
surroundings (skyscraper / tunnel / underground / forest). Except in special
circumstances GPS is not working indoors. The GPS signal cannot penetrate buildings
and coated-windshields. If you use an optional external GPS-antenna for better
performance place it on top of the car or beneath the windshield on the passenger
side.

Power Button
Turn the power on/off by pressing the power button
quickly
Battery Switch
The battery switch turns the battery power to
the NT-147 on and off.
The default setting of this switch is "OFF". When using the NT-147 for the first time,
slide this switch to the "ON" position with the stylus-pen.
NOTE : Sliding the battery switch to the "OFF" position at any time will initialize the
time and alarm clock setting for the NT-147. Data stored on the SD Card will be
unaffected.
Resetting
Reset is equal to the "Restart" of a computer.
Please reset your NT-147, if the device
is not responding when pressing a button or tapping the screen. When your NT-147
is reset, all time-settings and alarm clock settings will be initialized. Data stored on the
SD Card will be kept.
With the power on, press the reset button with the stylus-pen, and then release the
reset button.

Using the Stylus-Pen
Pulling out the Stylus-Pen
The stylus-pen is located in the upper right corner of the NT-147. The stylus-pen is
pulled out by first pushing the end of the stylus-pen upward and then sliding it out
completely.
Placing the Stylus-Pen back in position
Aim the tip of the stylus-pen into the PDA stylus-pen holder, lightly push the stylus-pen
in until you hear the "click" sound.

Using SD Cards
To Insert a Card:
2. Insert the SD card with its contact surface (metal contact surface) facing the back of
the NT-147 and the label facing up.
3. Gently press the card down until a clicking sound is heard.
To Remove a Card:
1. Lightly press in the card until a clicking sound is heard. The card will pop out
slightly from the slot.
2. Pull the card straight up to remove.

How to use the antenna
The special design for NT-147 can support
1. Antenna turns of 180 degrees.
2. The antenna may rotate 90 degrees.
3. Please follow step 2 and step 1 to put the antenna on NT-147 into the most suitable
position.

Kindly note: Position finding may take up to several minutes, depending from different
factors, like actual position of satellites, weather conditions, and others.

Navigation Mode
1. Open the antenna and turn it to one side.
2. Roll the antenna and adjust the NavTour logo side to face the sky .

1. Open the antenna to about 45 degrees.
2. Place the NT-147 on the desk by using the antenna as a holding fixture.

Install Car Holder
1. Setup base on the windshield, than push down the lever.
2. Fix the jacket (device-holder) on the base.

3. Turn the antenna 180 degrees around.
4. Put the bottom side of the NT-147 on the car holder and push the upper side to fix
it up.

6. Connect the car charger.

Install External Antenna (Optional Accessory)
Open the cover on the upper side of your NT-147 and plug the antenna into the
external antenna jack.
