lEnsureall thecablesaredisconnectedfromthemainunitbeforeconnectingtoAC
powersourcebyACpoweradaptor.
lRead throughtheinstructionsbeforeconnectingotherequipment.

BATTERYINSTALLATION
Install thebatteryasthefollowpicture. Besurenegativeandpositiveterminalsare
positioned asindicated inthebatterycompartment. (Fig1 )
SERVICELIFEOFBATTERY
-Thebatterynormallylast foraboutoneyearalthoughthisdependson howoften,and
forhowoften theremotecontrol isused.
-Iftheremotecontrolfailstoworkeven when itisoperatedneartheplayer,replacethe
battery.
-UseonesizeCR2025battery.
Note:
lDonotuserechargeable(Ni-Cd)battery.
lDonotattempt torecharge, short-circuit,disassemble,heat orthrow
thebatteriesintothefire.
lDonotdrop,step on orotherwiseimpacttheremotecontrol.Thismay
damagethepartsorleadtomalfunction.
lIftheremotecontrolisnotgoing tobeused foralongtime, remove
thebattery.
REMOTECONTROLOPERATION
1. Removetheprotectiveplastictab before
operatingtheremotecontrol.
2. Pointtheremotecontrol fromnomorethan
about6mfromtheremotecontrol sensorand
within about60 ofthefrontoftheplayer(Fig2).
NOTE:
-Theoperatingdistancemayvaryaccordingto
thebrightness oftheroom.
-Donotpointbrightlightsat remotecontrol
sensor.
-Donotplaceobjectsbetweentheremotecontrol andtheremotecontrolsensor.
-Donotusethisremotecontrol whilesimultaneouslyoperatingtheremotecontrolof anyother
equipment.

MAKESUREALL THEEQUIPMENTSANDACADAPTORARECONNECTEDPROPERLY
ANDTHEUNITISSETINCORRECTMODEBEFOREKINDSOF OPERATIONS.
TURNONTHEUNIT
Press STANDBYbutton oftheunittoturnontheunit (Thepowerindicatorwilldisplaygreen
color). Press itagaintostandbytheunit(Thepowerindicatorwill displayredcolor) .
AUTOSEARCHING
Beforenormalwatching youmust searcheffectivechannelsfirst.
-Press MENU buttononremotecontrol, thescreenwill display:
-Select AUTOSEARCH item, press rightbuttontoenterthisitem.
-Set theSOURCETYPE whatyouwant. Select STARTSEARCH itemthenpress right tostart
tosearchchannelsautomatically.Wait forseveralminutesuntil searching finished, then the
firstsearchedchannelwill play.
NOTE: Youmust doautosearchagain afterdifferent systemselectionaccording toyourarea.
SELECT WANTEDPROGRAM
1. Press CH +buttontoenternext channel.
2. Press CH -buttontoenterpreviouschannel.
3. Press numericbuttonsontheremotecontroldirectlytoselect programwhatyouwant.
Example: Track9, press "9"three secondslater, it will automaticallyswitchtotrack9,
orpress ENTERbuttontoconfirmdirectly.
Track12, press"1"and "2", threesecondslater, it will automaticallyswitchtotrack12,
orpress ENTERbuttontoconfirmdirectly.
NOTE: Ifonefrequencydot hasmorethanonechannel, forexample,youwant select
<CH 14 NO.2>, press1and 4, then press right navigationbuttonand input 2. Press ENTER
buttontoconfirm. Oncetheinput isdone, it will start broadcasting theselected channel
immediately.
VOLUMECONTROL
1. Press theVOL+ orVOL-toadjust thelevelofcurrentlyvolume.
2. ThelevelofVOLUMEcanbeadjust from0-40.
MUTECONTROL
Press theMUTEbuttontomutethesound, press it again toswitchONthesound.
NOTE: When theunit isin Mutemode,pressingVOL+ button willswitchONthesoundand
turnitup,pressing VOL-button willswitchONthesoundandturnitdown.
