Item Description
A: Audio out Left/right audio outputs to connect the DCT700 to a TV, VCR, or A/V receiver
B: Video out Composite video output to connect the DCT700 to a TV, VCR, or A/V receiver
C: RF in A coaxial input that is connected to the cable wall outlet, see Connecting the
DCT700
D: To TV/VCR A coaxial output to connect the DCT700 to the TV or VCR
E: Power This is the DC power connection

Installing Your Converter Box
Box Location
Place the converter box on a sturdy surface near your television and the cable outlet.
IMPORTANT: The box needs at least 2 inches of space on all sides to allow ventilation and
avoid overheating.

Step 1: Connect Box to TV
Basic coax cable connection: Use the coax cable jumper that came in your shipment to
connect the “to TV/VCR” on the back of the box to the “Cable In” on your TV.
It is also possible to add a VCR or DVD player to your connection:

Step 2: Connect Box to Cable
Connect the coax cable that is coming from a wall outlet to the “Cable In” or RF In” input
on the back of the converter box.

For higher quality sound and picture, use
an RCA audio/video cable to connect the
box to your TV.

Step 3: Plug in the Box
Using the power cord included in your shipment, plug the converter box into a standard
electrical outlet.
THE YELLOW POWER LIGHT ON THE
FRONT OF THE BOX WILL FLASH ON
AND OFF VERY QUICKLY. USE THE
CABLE BUTTON ON THE REMOTE
CONTROL TO TURN THE BOX BACK
ON AND CONTINUE TO STEP 4.
Step 4: Activating Your Box
You MUST call to activate your box!
Once your box is connected to the cable outlet and plugged in, call 866.482.8344.
Follow the prompts to activate your box.
The activation signal will turn your box off. Leave the box shut off for 10 minutes
while the necessary programs downloads.
