The LANTA Nebula Smoke 400v3™ must be mounted on a firm, level surface. It must not
be used on an unstable, unlevel surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the
product. It must only be used horizontally, do not tilt or operate on an incline when using
fluid, as this may spill out and damage the product and invalidate the warranty. Ensure
that there is a 50cm clearance from the nozzle to any surface and that the smoke is not
directed at someone’s face.
NB. This is an indoor rated product. Do NOT use outdoors.

IMPORTANT:
• Do not run the machine without fluid as it will damage the unit.
• Do not touch the output nozzle on this product. It is very hot during operation and it may
remain hot for some time after turning the unit off.
• Never place the fog/hazer machine on any flammable material (i.e. carpet, fabric etc.)
during operation. All fog/hazer machines should always be on a non-flammable
surface, such as concrete or tile.
• Depending on the amount of fog/haze generated, all fog machines may set off smoke
detectors.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If you experience low output, pump noise, or no output at all, unplug immediately and
do the following:
1. Check the fluid level, the external fuse, the remote connection and main power supply.
If all appear OK, plug the unit in again.
2. If the machine operates, but smoke does not come out after 5 seconds, switch off and
check the hose going into the tank to make sure there is fluid going into the hose.
3. If you are unable to determine the cause of the problem, do not continue to operate
as this may damage the unit. Contact your supplier for support.
PRODUCT MAINTENANCE
Do not allow the Smoke Machine to become contaminated. Lanta recommends
that after every 30 hours of continuous operation, a cleaning solution composed of
80% distilled water and 20% distilled vinegar is run through the system to prevent the
accumulation of particulate matter in the heating element.
The recommended cleaning procedure is:
1. Empty all fog liquid from the machine. Add 100ml cleaning solution to tank. Plug unit
in and begin warm up.
2. Run the unit in a well-ventilated area until the tank is almost empty. Do not allow the
pump to run dry.
3. Cleaning is now complete. Refill with fog liquid. Run the machine briefly to clear any
cleaning solution from the pump and heater.
4. Do not operate the machine without liquid at any time.
STORAGE
1. When storing run distilled water (not tap water) through the system as described in the
cleaning regime above. This will help avoid any particles condensing inside the pump
or heater.
2. It is strongly recommended to test-run the machine on a monthly basis.
