Product Introduction
The UPS provides comprehensive protection in a small and economic package. The UPS is more compact and offers greater comprehensive power protection
against surges and spikes. This UPS will continue providing stable power to connected equipment and enable to shutdown PC safely during power failure.
Its embedded microprocessor controller guarantees high reliability and it’s perfect for any home or small office application.

Installation & Initial Startup
NOTE: Before installation, please inspect the unit. Be sure that nothing inside the package is damaged.
Placement & Storage Conditions
Install the UPS in a protected area that is free of excessive dust and has adequate air flow. Please place the UPS away from other units at least 20 cm to
avoid interference. Do NOT operate the UPS where the temperature and humidity is outside the specific limits. (Please check the specs for the limitations.)
Connect to Utility and Charging
Before initial use, please plug in the AC input cord to the wall outlet and turn on the UPS for charging.
For the best results, suggest to charge the battery at least 8 hours before initial use.
The UPS charges its battery while connecting to the utility with power on.
Connect the Loads
Plug in the loads to output receptacles on the rear panel of the UPS. Simply turn on the power switch of UPS unit,
then devices connected to the UPS will be protected by UPS unit.
CAUTION: NEVER connect a laser printer or scanner to the UPS unit.
This may cause the damage of the unit.
Turn On/Off the Unit
Turn on the UPS unit by pressing the power switch. Turn off the UPS unit by pressing again the power switch.

5 Important Safety Warning (SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS)
CAUTION! To prevent the risk of fire or electric shock, install in a temperature and humidity controlled indoor area free of conductive contaminants.
(See the specifications for the acceptable temperature and humidity range.)
CAUTION! To reduce the risk of overheating the UPS, do not cover the UPS’ cooling vents and avoid exposing the unit to direct sunlight or installing
the unit near heat emitting appliances such as space heaters or furnaces.
CAUTION! Do not attach non-computer-related items, such as medical equipment, life-support equipment, microwave ovens, or vacuum cleaners to UPS.
CAUTION! Do not plug the UPS input into its own output.
CAUTION! Do not allow liquids or any foreign object to enter the UPS. Do not place beverages or any other liquid-containing vessels on or near the unit.
CAUTION! In the event of an emergency, press the OFF button and disconnect the power cord from the AC power supply to properly disable the UPS.
CAUTION! Do not attach a power strip or surge suppressor to the UPS.
CAUTION! If the UPS is with metal chassis, for safety purpose, grounding is a must during UPS installation in order to reduce leakage current below 3.5mA.
Attention hazardous through electric shock. Also with disconnection of this unit from the mains, hazardous voltage still may be accessible through supply from
battery. The battery supply should be therefore disconnected in the plus and minus pole at the quick connectors of the battery when maintenance or service
work inside the UPS is necessary.
CAUTION! Internal battery voltage is 12Vdc. Sealed, lead-acid, 6-cell battery.
CAUTION! Servicing of batteries should be performed or supervised by personnel knowledgeable of batteries and the required precautions.
Keep unauthorized personnel away from batteries.
CAUTION! When replacing the batteries, use the same number and type of batteries.
CAUTION! Do not dispose of batteries in a fire. The battery may explode. Do not open or mutilate the battery or batteries. Released electrolyte is
harmful to the skin and eyes.
CAUTION! Unplug the UPS prior to cleaning and do not use liquid or spray detergent.
CAUTION! A battery can present a risk of electric shock and high short circuit current.
The following precaution should be observed before replacing batteries:
1) Remove watches, rings, or other metal objects.
2) Use tools with insulated handles.
3) Wear rubber gloves and boots.
4) Do not lay tools or metal parts on top of batteries.
5) Disconnect charging source prior to connecting or disconnecting batteries terminal.

6 Trouble Shooting
Use the table below to solve minor problems.
Problem Probable Cause Solution
No LED display on the front panel. Low battery. Charge the UPS at least 8 hours.
Battery fault. Replace the battery with the same type of battery.
The UPS is not turned on. Press the power switch again to turn on the UPS.
Alarm continuously sounds when
the mains is normal.
The UPS is overload. Remove some loads first. Before reconnecting equipment,
please verify that the load matches the UPS capability
specified in the specs.
UPS fault Return the unit to service center.
Alarm sounds every 2 seconds
when the mains is normal.
Battery defect Replace the battery with the same type of battery.
Charging circuit is damaged. Return the unit to service center.
When power fails, backup time is shorten. The UPS is overload. Remove some critical load.
Battery voltage is too low. Charge the UPS at least 8 hours.
Battery defect. Replace the battery with the same type of battery.
The mains is normal but green LED is flashing. Power cord is loose. Reconnect the power cord properly.

Einführung in das Produkt

Installation und erste Inbetriebnahme
HINWEIS: Untersuchen Sie das Gerät vor der Installation. Achten Sie darauf, dass kein Verpackungsbestandteil beschädigt ist.
Aufstellungsort und Lagerung
Stellen Sie die USV an einem geschützten, möglichst staubfreien und gut belüfteten Ort auf. Stellen Sie die USV mindestens 20 cm von anderen Geräten
entfernt auf, um Störungen zu vermeiden. Die USV darf NICHT betrieben werden, wenn die Temperatur oder Luftfeuchtigkeit außerhalb der angegebenen
Grenzen liegt. (Sehen Sie diese in den technischen Daten nach.)
Anschließen an das Stromnetz und Aufladen
Verbinden Sie vor der Inbetriebnahme den Netzstromeingang mit der Wandsteckdose, und schalten
Sie die USV zum Aufladen ein. Für beste Ergebnisse wird empfohlen, den Akku vor dem ersten
Gebrauch mindestens 8 Stunden aufladen zu lassen. Die USV lädt den Akku, wenn sie an das Stromnetz
angeschlossen und eingeschaltet ist.
Anschließen der Verbraucher
Verbinden Sie die Verbraucher mit den Steckdosenausgängen der USV. Schalten Sie einfach den Ein/Aus-Schalter des USV-Geräts ein. Die an die USV
angeschlossenen Verbraucher sind nun vom USV-Gerät geschützt.
ACHTUNG: Schließen Sie NIEMALS einen Laserdrucker oder einen Scanner
an das USV-Gerät an. Hierdurch könnte das Gerät beschädigt werden.
Ein- und Ausschalten des Geräts
Das USV-Gerät wird durch Drücken des Ein/Aus-Schalters eingeschaltet. Durch erneutes Drücken des Ein/Aus-Schalters wird USV-Gerät ausgeschaltet.

5 Wichtige Sicherheitshinweise (BEWAHREN SIE DIESE AUF)
ACHTUNG! Um die Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlages zu vermeiden, stellen Sie das Gerät im temperatur- und luftfeuchtigkeitskontrollierten Innenbereich
frei von leitendem Material auf. (Den zulässigen Temperatur- und Luftfeuchtigkeitsbereich finden Sie in den technischen Daten.)
ACHTUNG! Um die Gefahr einer Überhitzung der USV zu vermeiden, blockieren Sie die Lüftungsöffnungen der USV nicht und stellen Sie das Gerät nicht an
Orten direkter Sonneneinstrahlung oder in der Nähe von Hitzequellen wie Heizgeräten oder Öfen auf.
ACHTUNG! Schließen Sie nur Computerelektronik an die USV an, und keine medizinischen Geräte, Lebenserhaltungsgeräte, Mikrowellen oder Staubsauger.
ACHTUNG! Stecken Sie das USV-Netzkabel nicht in den eigenen Steckdosenausgang.
ACHTUNG! Verhindern Sie ein Eindringen von Flüssigkeiten oder Fremdkörper in die USV. Stellen Sie keine Getränke oder andere flüssigkeitsgefüllten
Behälter auf oder neben das Gerät.
ACHTUNG! Drücken Sie im Notfall den Aus-Schalter und trennen Sie das Netzkabel von der Stromversorgung, um die USV ordnungsgemäß zu deaktivieren.
ACHTUNG! Schließen Sie keine Mehrfachsteckdose oder einen Überspannungsschutz an die USV an.
ACHTUNG! Bei einer USV mit Metallgehäuse muss während der Installation der USV eine Erdung erfolgen, damit der Leckstrom 3,5 mA nicht übersteigt.
Vorsicht: Gefährliche elektrische Spannung. Auch wenn das Gerät vom Netzstrom getrennt ist, kann durch den Akku weiterhin gefährliche elektrische Spannung
anliegen. Bei Wartungs- oder Reparaturarbeiten im Inneren der USV muss daher die Akkuversorgung über die Schnellverbindungen am Plus- und Minuspol des
Akkus getrennt werden.
ACHTUNG! Die interne Akkuspannung beträgt 12 VDC. Verschlossener 6-Zellen-Bleiakku.
ACHTUNG! Die Akkuwartung muss von sachkundigem Personal mit geeigneten Vorsichtsmaßnahmen durchgeführt bzw. überwacht werden. Unbefugte
Personen dürfen nicht in die Nähe von Akkus gelangen.
ACHTUNG! Tauschen Sie nur Akkus derselben Anzahl und desselben Typs aus.
ACHTUNG! Setzen Sie Akkus nicht offenem Feuer aus. Der Akku kann explodieren. Öffnen oder beschädigen Sie Akkus nicht. Die Akkusäure ist schädlich
für Haut und Augen.
ACHTUNG! Ziehen Sie vor dem Reinigen der USV die Stecker, und verwenden Sie keine Flüssigkeit oder Spray.
ACHTUNG! Ein Akku kann gefährlichen Stromschlag und hohe Kurzschlussströme verursachen. Die folgenden Vorsichtsmaßnahmen sind vor dem
Austauschen von Akkus einzuhalten:
1) Legen Sie Uhren, Ringe und andere Metallgegenstände ab.
2) Verwenden Sie Werkzeug mit isolierten Griffen.
3) Tragen Sie Gummihandschuhe und -stiefel.
4) Legen Sie kein Werkzeug oder Metallgegenstände auf Akkus.
5) Trennen Sie vor dem An- oder Abklemmen der Akkupole die Ladestromquelle.

6 Fehlerbehebung
Lösen Sie kleinere Probleme anhand der nachstehenden Tabelle.
Problem Mögliche Ursache Lösung
Keine LED-Anzeige an der Vorderseite. Niedriger Akkuladezustand. USV mindestens 8 Stunden laden.
Ausfall des Akkus. Akku durch denselben Akkutyp ersetzen..
USV nicht eingeschaltet. Zum Einschalten der USV Ein/Aus-Schalter erneut drücken.
Ständiger Warnton bei normalem Netzstrom. Die USV ist überlastet. Erst einige Verbraucher trennen. Vor dem Wiederanschluss
überprüfen, ob der Verbraucher der USV-Leistung gemäß
den technischen Daten entspricht.
Ausfall der USV. Gerät zum Kundendienst geben.
Warnton alle 2 Sekunden bei normalem Netzstrom. Akku defekt. Akku durch denselben Akkutyp ersetzen.
Ladestromkreis beschädigt. Gerät zum Kundendienst geben.
Verkürzte Überbrückungszeit bei Stromausfall. Die USV ist überlastet. Kritische Verbraucher trennen.
Akkuspannung ist zu niedrig. USV mindestens 8 Stunden laden.
Akku defekt. Akku durch denselben Akkutyp ersetzen..
Der Netzstrom ist normal, aber die grüne LED blinkt. Netzkabel ist lose. Netzkabel wieder richtig einstecken.

Installazione & impostazione iniziale
Nota: Prima dell’installazione, controllare l’apparecchiatura. Accertarsi che nessun elemento delle confezione risulti danneggiato.
Condizioni di posizionamento & conservazione
Installare l’UPS in un’area protetta, priva di polvere eccessiva e con un flusso d’aria adeguato. Per evitare interferenze, posizionare l’UPS ad almeno 20 cm di
distanza da altre apparecchiature. NON mettere in funzione l’UPS in luoghi in cui la temperatura e l’umidità non rientrino nei limiti specificati. (Consultare le
specifiche per tali limiti.)
Collegamento alla rete pubblica e caricamento
Prima del primo uso, collegare il cavo di ingresso CS a una presa a parete e accendere l’UPS affinché si
carichi. Per ottenere risultati ottimali, caricare l’UPS per almeno 8 ore prima del primo uso. L’UPS carica
la propria batteria quando è connesso alla rete pubblica ed è acceso.
Collegamento di carichi
Collegare i carichi (apparecchiature) alle prese di uscita situate nel pannello posteriore dell’UPS. Accendere l’UPS: tutte le apparecchiature collegate all’UPS
saranno protette dall’UPS stesso.
AVVERTENZA: NON collegare mai una stampante laser o uno scanner all’UPS.
Ciò potrebbe causare danni all’UPS stesso.
Accensione/Spegnimento dell’UPS
Accendere l’UPS premendo il suo interruttore di accensione. Spegnere l’UPS premendo di nuovo il suo interruttore di accensione.

5 Importanti avvertenze di sicurezza (CONSERVARE QUESTE ISTRUZIONI)
AVVERTENZA! Per evitare rischi di incendio o scossa elettrica, installare l’UPS in un locale a temperatura e umidità controllate, privo di contaminanti
conduttivi. (Consultare le specifiche per indicazioni sul temperatura e umidità accettabili).
AVVERTENZA! Per ridurre il rischio di surriscaldamento dell’UPS, non coprire le aperture di ventilazione dell’UPS ed evitare di esporlo alla luce
diretta del sole. Non installarlo vicino a radiatori di riscaldamento quali pompe di calore e stufe.
AVVERTENZA! Non collegare all’UPS apparecchiature di tipo non informatico, quali apparecchiature mediche, apparecchiature per il supporto vitale,
forni a microonde o aspirapolveri.
AVVERTENZA! Non collegare l’ingresso dell’UPS alla sua stessa uscita.
AVVERTENZA! Non lasciare che liquidi o oggetti estranei penetrino nell’UPS. Non porre bevande o altri contenitori di liquidi sull’UPS o vicino ad esso.
AVVERTENZA! In caso di emergenza, premere il pulsante OFF e scollegare il cavo di alimentazione dalla presa in CA allo scopo di disattivare
adeguatamente l’UPS.
AVVERTENZA! Non collegare una basetta o un eliminatore di picchi all’UPS.
AVVERTENZA! Se l’UPS ha una struttura in metallo, è necessaria una messa a terra di sicurezza durante l’installazione, al fine di ridurre la corrente di
dispersione sotto i 3,5 mA.
Attenzione pericolo di scosse elettriche. Anche quando l’UPS è scollegato dall’alimentazione, può ancora contenere delle tensioni pericolose, erogate dalla
batteria. Scollegare pertanto anche l’alimentazione da batteria nei poli più e meno dei connettori rapidi della batteria quando sono necessari dei lavori di
manutenzione o assistenza all’interno dell’UPS.
AVVERTENZA! La tensione della batteria interna è di 12V CC. Batteria sigillata agli acidi di piombo a 6 celle.
AVVERTENZA! La manutenzione delle batterie deve essere eseguita o supervisionata solo da personale esperto che adotta le dovute precauzioni.
Il personale non autorizzato dovrà restare lontano dalle batterie.
AVVERTENZA! Quando si sostituiscono le batterie, usare lo stesso numero e tipo di batterie.
AVVERTENZA! Non gettare le batterie nel fuoco. Possono esplodere. Non aprire né rompere le batterie.
L’elettrolita in esse contenuto è pericoloso per la pelle e per gli occhi.
AVVERTENZA! Scollegare l’UPS prima di pulirlo e non usare detergenti liquidi o spray.
AVVERTENZA! Una batteria può presentare un rischio di scossa elettrica e elevate correnti di corto circuito. Prima di sostituire le batterie,
rispettare le seguenti precauzioni:
1) Togliersi tutti i orologi, anelli e altri oggetti metallici.
2) Usare utensili con manici isolati.
3) Indossare guanti e stivali in gomma.
4) Non appoggiare gli utensili o le parti metalliche sulle batterie.
5) Scollegare la sorgente di alimentazione prima di collegare o scollegare il terminale delle batterie.

6 Risoluzione dei problemi
Usare la tabella sottostante per risolvere i problemi minori.

Nessun LED acceso sul pannello anteriore. Batteria scarica. Caricare l'UPS per almeno 8 ore.
Batteria guasta. Sostituire la batteria con una dello stesso tipo.
L'UPS non è acceso.

L’allarme suona continuamente mentre
l’alimentazione è normale.
L'UPS è in sovraccarico. Rimuovere dapprima qualche carico. Prima di ricollegare
l'apparecchiatura, verificare che il carico corrisponda alle
capacità dell'UPS indicate nelle specifiche.
UPS guasto Inviare l'UPS al centro assistenza.
L’allarme suona ogni 2 secondi mentre
l’alimentazione è normale.
Batteria difettosa Sostituire la batteria con una dello stesso tipo.
Il circuito di carica è danneggiato. Inviare l'UPS al centro assistenza.
In assenza di alimentazione,
il tempo di backup è breve.
L'UPS è in sovraccarico. Rimuovere qualche carico critico.
La tensione della batteria è troppo bassa. Caricare l'UPS per almeno 8 ore.
Batteria difettosa Sostituire la batteria con una dello stesso tipo.
L’alimentazione è normale ma il LED verde

Installatie & eerste keer starten
LET OP: Controleer de unit voor installatie. Wees er zeker van dat niets in het pakketje beschadigd is.
Plaatsings- en opslagomstandigheden
Installeer de UPS in een beschermd gebied dat vrij is van grote hoeveelheden stof en voorzien is van een goede luchtstroom. Plaats de UPS op tenminste
20 cm afstand van andere units, om storing te voorkomen. Gebruik de UPS NIET als de temperatuur en vochtigheid buiten de aangegeven grenzen valt.
(Controleer de specificaties voor de grenzen.)
Verbinden met net en opladen
Voor het eerste gebruik plaatst u de AC invoerstekker in een wandcontact en zet u de UPS aan om deze
op te laden. Voor de beste resultaten kan de accu het beste tenminste 8 uur voor het eerste gebruik
worden opgeladen. De UPS laadt de accu op als deze aangesloten is op het net en ingeschakeld is.
Verbind de apparatuur
Verbind de apparatuur via de uitvoeren aan de achterkant van de UPS. Schakel de stroom van de UPS unit aan en de apparaten die met de
UPS verbonden zijn, worden door de UPS beschermd.
WAARSCHUWING: NOOIT een laserprinter of scanner aan de UPS aansluiten.
Dit kan de UPS beschadigen.
Unit in- of uitschakelen
Schakel de UPS in door de netschakelaar in te drukken. Schakel de UPS uit door deze schakelaar opnieuw in te drukken..

5 Belangrijke Veiligheidswaarschuwing (BEWAAR DEZE INSTRUCTIES)
WAARSCHUWING! Om de kans op brand of een elektrische schok te voorkomen, dient het apparaat geplaatst te worden in een binnenruimte met
constante temperatuur en vochtigheid, vrij van geleidende verontreinigingen. (Zie de specificaties voor acceptabel bereik temperatuur en vochtigheid.)
WAARSCHUWING! Om de kans op oververhitting van de UPS te voorkomen, dienen de ventilatie-uitgangen van de UPS vrijgehouden te worden en mag
het apparaat niet worden blootgesteld aan rechtstreeks zonlicht of geplaatst worden in de buurt van apparaten die warmte uitstralen, zoals kachels of ovens.
WAARSCHUWING! Sluit geen niet computergerelateerde apparatuur aan op de UPS, zoals medische apparatuur, beademingsapparatuur,
magnetrons of stofzuigers.
WAARSCHUWING! Plaats de invoer van de UPS niet in zijn eigen uitvoer.
WAARSCHUWING! Houd de UPS weg van vloeistoffen of vreemde objecten. Plaats geen drankjes of andere objecten met vloeistoffen op of
in de buurt van de unit.
WAARSCHUWING! In geval van nood de UIT knop indrukken en de stekker uit het stopcontact halen om de UPS op de juiste manier uit te schakelen.
WAARSCHUWING! Verbind geen stekkerblok of overspanningbeveiliging aan de UPS.
WAARSCHUWING! Als de UPS een metalen chassis heeft, dient deze om veiligheidsredenen geaard te worden tijdens de installatie van de UPS,
om lekstroom onder de 3.5mA te verminderen.
Let op gevaarlijk in verband met elektrische schokken. Ook na het loskoppelen van deze unit van de netstroom kan er nog steeds een gevaarlijk voltage
op de accu staan. De accu dient daarom ook via de plus en min losgekoppeld te worden, indien onderhoud of reparaties in de UPS nodig zijn.
WAARSCHUWING! Interne accu voltage is 12Vdc. Gesloten, loodzuur, 6-cell accu.
WAARSCHUWING! Onderhoud van de accu dient uitgevoerd of gecontroleerd te worden door vakbekwaam personeel, met kennis van de accu en de
benodigde voorzorgsmaatregelen. Houd onbekwaam personeel uit de buurt van de accu’s.
WAARSCHUWING! Bij het vervangen van de accu’s hetzelfde aantal en type accu’s gebruiken.
WAARSCHUWING! Gooi de accu’s niet in het vuur. De accu kan exploderen. Open of vermink de accu of accu’s niet. De accuvloeistof die hierbij
vrijkomt is schadelijk voor huid en ogen.
WAARSCHUWING! Koppel de UPS los voor het schoonmaken en gebruik gene vloeibare- of sprayreiniger.
WAARSCHUWING! Een accu kan het risico op een elektrische schok en kortsluiting opleveren. Neem de volgende voorzorgsmaatregelen in acht
voor het vervangen van de accu:
1) Verwijder horloges, ringen of andere metalen objecten.
2) Gebruik gereedschap met geïsoleerde handgrepen.
3) Draag rubberen handschoenen en laarzen.
4) Plaats geen gereedschappen of metalen onderdelen bovenop de accu’s.
5) Koppel de oplaadbron los voor het aansluiten of loskoppelen van de accuhouder.
