Easily add gigabytes of storage to your network
As the amount of information generated by a business increases, so does
the need to store the information in a cost-effective, easily-accessible
and reliable system. In the past it meant powering down your existing file
server to add expensive hard drives or going to the extra expense of
adding a traditional file server. NetComm has now made adding
gigabytes of file storage to your network as simple as connecting an
Ethernet cable from your hub or switch, attaching the power cord and
running thought the quick start configuration wizard. It only takes
minutes and not hours or days.
Cross-platform network file sharing
The NAS-1000 family of Network Attached Storage provides users with
cross-platform network file sharing for both Windows and AppleTalk clients
over the auto sensing 10 Base-T and 100 Base-TX Ethernet interface.
Network Printer sharing
With NetComm’s NAS it’s easy, just plug in your printer to the enhanced
parallel printer port and everyone connected to the network can be setup
to share the same printer.
Enhance productivity
NetComm’s NAS storage is not attached to or dedicated to one file server,
eliminating the problems of traditional file servers where the server goes
down. Users working with files stored on the NAS-1000 server can
maintain productivity and reduce stress associated with server outages.
Reliability
NetComm has combined a simple design with fewer individual
components to produce a solution that ensures trouble-free operation
and ease of use for both IT support staff and users.
Easy configuration
The NAS-1000 family is easy to setup with its intuitive Windows-based
configuration wizard or Web Browser interface, which allows a systems
administrators to create groups, assign access privileges and define
restrictions to specific shares.
