Operating the Product
Before First Use
If you are using the kettle for the first time, it is recommended
that you clean your kettle by boiling a full kettle of water twice
and then discarding the water.
The maximum capacity for this kettle is 1.7L.
Using The Kettle
•To fill the kettle, remove it from the power base and open the
lid by pressing the lid release button. Fill the kettle with your
desired amount of water and then close the lid. Alternatively,
you may fill the kettle through the spout. The water level
should not exceed the MAX mark or sit below the MIN level.
Too little water will result in the kettle switching off before the
water has boiled.
•Put the kettle on the power base and connect the plug into a
power outlet.
•This kettle uses an IC programme to control the heat up or
keep-warm functions. When the kettle is put onto the power
base, all four light indicators on the control panel turn on and
one beep can be heard. At the same time, the indicator lights
in the kettle will light up in a red, green, and blue sequence,
then they will turn off.
•The indicator lights in the kettle will illuminate in different
colours under different water temperatures. 50°C (green),
70°C (blue), 80°C (purple), 90°C (light green) and 100°C
(red).

•To boil water, put the kettle onto the power base, press the
100°C button and the kettle will start heating the water up. At
this time, the indictors on the control panel do not light up but
the indicator light inside the kettle will illuminate red. When
the water reaches 100°C, the indicator light will turn off and
two beeps can be heard.
•To heat water to a selected temperature, put the kettle on the
power base and press the +/- button to select your desired
water temperature. Once selected, the corresponding
indicator light will turn on. Press the 100°C/power button and
the kettle will start to heat the water up. Once it reaches
temperature, all light indicators turn off and two beeps can be
heard.
•To keep water warm, put the kettle onto the power base and
press the +/- button to select your desired keep-warm
temperature. After selecting the temperature, the
corresponding indicator light will turn on and then you need to
press and hold the 100°C/power button for 3 seconds.
•The kettle will enter a keep-warm mode after heating the
water to the selected temperature. At this time, the indicator
light of the selected keep-warm temperature will blink in one
second intervals. Once the water temperature reaches the
desired temperature, one beep can be heard and then the
kettle will enter the keep-warm function. After keeping warm
for 30 minutes, the kettle will shut off automatically and all the
indicator lights will turn off.
•Lift the kettle from the power base and pour the water. The
water will not re-boil until the switch is pressed again. The
kettle may be stored on the power base when not in use.

Boil-Dry Protection
Should you accidently let the kettle operate without water, the
boil-dry protection system will automatically switch the power off.
If this occurs, allow the kettle to cool before filling with cold water
to re-boil.
