INTRODUCTION
To get the best out of your new bamboo grill,
please read this user guide carefully before
using it for the first time. Take particular note
of the safety precautions. We also recommend
that you keep the instructions for future
reference, so that you can refer to them later.
GENERAL SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS
• This appliance may only be used by
children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they are supervised or
have been given instructions concerning
use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. Children
must not play with the appliance. Cleaning
and user maintenance must not be
performed by children without supervision.
• Keep the appliance under constant
supervision while in use. Keep an eye on
any children in the vicinity of the appliance
when it is in use. The appliance is not a
toy.
• Incorrect use of this appliance may cause
personal injury or damage the appliance.
• Use for its intended purpose only. The
manufacturer is not responsible for any
injury or damage resulting from incorrect
use or handling (see also Warranty
Terms).
• For domestic use only. Not for outdoor or
commercial use.
• Remove all packaging and transport
materials from the inside and outside of
the appliance.
• Check that the appliance has no visible
damage and that no parts are missing.
• Do not use with any cords other than that
supplied.
• Check that it is not possible to pull or trip
over the cord or any extension cord.
• The appliance must not be used together
with a timer switch or a separate remote
control system.
• Turn off the appliance and remove the
plug from the socket before cleaning, or
when the appliance is not in use.
• Avoid pulling the cord when removing the
plug from the socket. Instead, hold the
plug.
• Keep the cord and appliance away from
heat sources, hot objects and naked
flames.
• Ensure that the cord is fully extended.
• The cord must not be twisted or wound
around the appliance.
• Check regularly that neither the cord
nor plug is damaged and do not use the
appliance if there is any damage, or if it
has been dropped on the floor, dropped in
water or damaged in any other way.
• If the appliance, cord or plug has been
damaged, have the appliance inspected
and if necessary repaired by an authorised
repairer.
• Connect to 230 V, 50 Hz only. The
warranty is not valid if the appliance is
connected to incorrect voltage.
• Never try to repair the appliance yourself.
Please contact the store where you bought
the appliance for repairs under warranty.
• Unauthorised repairs or modifications will
invalidate the warranty.
• Caution! Some parts of this appliance
can become very hot and cause burns.
Particular attention should be paid where
children and vulnerable people are
present.
• Keep the appliance and its cord out of
reach of children aged less than 8 years.

BEFORE USE
Assemble the appliance, switch it on and
leave it for 10 minutes before using it for the
first time. This will remove the smell typically
encountered when first switching on an
appliance. Please ensure sufficient ventilation.
ASSEMBLY
Insert the drip tray (3) into the holder (2).
Insert the grill unit (4) into the bamboo frame
(1). It can only be fitted one way.
Insert the male jack of the thermostat unit (7)
into the female jack on the grill appliance.
Make sure that it is fully pushed in.
The appliance is now ready for use.

USE
• Apply a little butter, margarine or oil to the
grill plate.
• Place the appliance on a flat, heat-
resistant surface and plug it in.
• Turn the thermostat button to the required
setting. The indicator light comes on and
the appliance begins to heat up. Once
the appliance has reached the correct
temperature, the thermostat light will go
off. The thermostat light comes on and
goes off as the heating element comes on
and goes off.
• Place the food on the grill plate and fry it.
Liquid fat and meat juices run down into
the drip tray (3) through the drain hole (6).
• Carefully loosen and turn the food using a
heat-resistant spatula or similar. You must
not use metal utensils or utensils with a
sharp edge on the grill plate, as it has
a special non-stick coating. Instead use
plastic, melamine or wooden utensils.
• You can stop the cooking process at any
time by removing the plug from the socket.
• Warning! The metal parts will get very hot
during use. Always hold by the bamboo
frame. Be careful of spitting oil, fat or other
liquids.
• Turn down the thermostat and unplug the
appliance once the food is ready.
• Before cleaning and storing the appliance,
make sure it has cooled completely.
CLEANING
Before cleaning, remove the plug from the wall
socket and allow the appliance to cool down.
For reasons of electrical safety, never use
water or any other kind of liquid on the
appliance nor immerse it.
Then dismantle the appliance. Clean the
outside of the appliance by wiping with a damp
cloth. The grill plate can be cleaned with a
damp cloth or a soft brush.
If any food residues remain on the grill plate,
these can be loosened using a small amount
of cooking oil. Leave the oil for 5 minutes, and
then wipe the grill plate with a piece of kitchen
roll.

WARRANTY TERMS
The warranty does not apply:
- if the above instructions have not been
followed
- if the appliance has been interfered with
- if the appliance has been mishandled,
subjected to rough treatment, or has
suffered any other form of damage

recibido instrucciones relativas al uso del
aparato de una forma segura y entienden

ANTES DEL USO
Monte el dispositivo, enciéndalo y déjelo
funcionar durante 10 minutos antes de usarlo
por primera vez. Así se eliminará el olor típico
que aparece la primera vez que se enciende
un aparato. Asegúrese de que haya suficiente
ventilación.
MONTAJE
Introduzca la bandeja de recogida (3) en el
soporte (2).
Introduzca la placa de la parrilla (4) en el
bastidor de bambú (1). Solo se puede colocar
en una posición.
Introduzca la clavija macho del termostato (7)
en la toma hembra de la parrilla. Asegúrese de
que entre hasta el fondo.
Ahora el aparato está listo para ser utilizado.

USO
• Aplique un poco de mantequilla, margarina
o aceite en la placa de la parrilla.
• Coloque el aparato en una superficie
plana y resistente al calor, y enchúfela.
• Gire el termostato hasta el ajuste
requerido. Se encenderá el piloto
indicador, y el dispositivo empezará a
calentarse. En cuanto haya alcanzado
la temperatura adecuada, el termostato
se apagará. El piloto del termostato se
encenderá y apagará según si el elemento
calefactor se enciendo o se apague.
• Coloque alimentos en la placa de la
parrilla y fríalos. La grasa líquida y los
jugos de la carne se deslizarán hacia la
bandeja de recogida (3) por el orificio de
drenaje (5).
• Suelte y dé la vuelta a la comida con
cuidado usando una espátula o un
utensilio similar resistente al calor. No use
utensilios de metal ni utensilios con el
borde afilado sobre la placa, ya que lleva
un recubrimiento antiadherente especial.
Use utensilios de plástico, melamina o
madera.
• Puede detener el proceso de cocción en
cualquier momento desenchufando el
dispositivo.
• ¡Atención! Las partes metálicas se
calientan mucho durante el uso. Sujete
siempre el dispositivo por el bastidor de
bambú. Tenga cuidado de que no se vierta
aceite, grasa ni otros líquidos.
• Apague el dispositivo y desenchufe el
aparato cuando la comida esté lista.
• Antes de limpiar y guardar el aparato,
asegúrese de que se haya enfriado
completamente.
LIMPIEZA
Antes de limpiar el dispositivo, desenchufe el
dispositivo de la toma de corriente y deje que
se enfríe.
Por motivos de seguridad, no use nunca agua
ni ningún otro líquido sobre el aparato, ni lo
sumerja.
A continuación, desmonte el dispositivo. Limpie
el exterior del aparato frotándolo con un trapo
húmedo. La placa de cocción se puede limpiar
con un paño húmedo o un cepillo suave.
Si queda algún residuo de comida en la placa,
puede soltarlo con una pequeña cantidad de
aceite de cocina. Deje actuar el aceite durante
5 minutos, y a continuación pase un trozo de
papel de cocina por la placa.
