LED description:
Yellow: No battery connected OR initializing after connection to
new battery.
Red: Rapid charge. .
Green/Yellow: Interim charge (rapid charge ended/fully charged).
Green: Trickle charge (fully charged).
Flashing red/green: TCO/Error. Restart charge cycle.
Restart: By mains "ON" or connection/disconnection of battery.
The restart identification time is 10-15 seconds.
Discharge function: No. NiMH cells have negligible memory effect. See also
specifications for batteries or Norcell Maintenance Guide.
Charging time: Battery SK1209D: 5 hrs
Battery SK1218D: 10 hrs

Quick Guide – Charger Unit SKL02:
CAUTION!
•When the battery is new, do a running-in procedure by performing min. 3 full
charges/discharges to achieve max. capacity and to avoid reduced service life
of the battery !
•Do not charge battery at ambient temperatures below 0°C. After using the
battery at temperatures below 0°C, let the battery rest min. 1 hour in room
temperature before charging to avoid damage ! Norcell SKL02 and SKL03
chargers with Norcell 3-pin output plug (standard) are programmed to take care
of this and starts charging automatically when the cell temperature is proper.
CHARGING PROCEDURE:
1) Make sure that the charger is connected to the mains and LED is yellow
(wait a few seconds from disconnect of charged battery before
connection to new battery).
2) Plug the charger into the battery. LED will remain yellow a few seconds.
3) Charging starts when LED illuminates red (automatically).
The battery is fully charged when LED is green (or green/yellow).
