BLOOD GLUCOSE MONITORING SYSTEM FOR DOMESTIC USE
Only for use outside the body, use only for testing blood glucose (blood sugar) and
only with fresh capillary blood samples. It cannot be used for the diagnosis of diabetes
or onto newborns. Please read carefully “WARNINGS” chapter before use.
Working principle: the blood sample reacts with the chemical (glucose oxidase) present
on the strip so a current, depending on the glucose level in the blood sample, is emitted
and can be measured by the meter.
Test strips do not need coding.

SISTEMA DI CONTROLLO DELLA GLICEMIA PER USO DOMESTICO
Solo per uso esterno, usare solo per controllare la glicemia (livello zuccheri nel
sangue) e solo con sangue capillare fresco. Non è destinato alla diagnosi del diabete
o all’uso su neonati. Per favore leggere attentamente il capitolo “AVVERTENZE” prima
dell’uso.
Principio di funzionamento: il campione di sangue reagisce con il composto chimico
(glucossidasi) presente sulla striscia che emette una corrente dipendente dal livello di
glucosio del campione. Tale corrente viene misurata dal glucometro.

WARNINGS
you are testing during or after meal, physical exercise, stressful
events.
you have reason to believe your glucose level to be incorrect or
during pregnancy.
Always refer to your doctor before you perform AST.
Always rub the puncture site for at least 20 seconds before
blood extraction.
It could be necessary set your lancing device to increase the
depth of the pierce.
Firmly press the lancing device onto the sampling point, make
the shot, and mantain a light pressure until a drop of blood of
adequate size comes out.
After piercing, make the measurement as described in the
chapter “MEASUREMENT”.

Keep M button pressed for about 3” (picture 1), then press M button repeatedly to get sequentially:
When “del” is blinking (picture 3) press S button for 4” to delete memory shown at the moment (does
not apply on averages). This can be done also immediately after taking the measurement.
To delete all memories please see “Settings and memory erase” paragraph.

ACCURACY TEST / TEST DI ACCURATEZZA

WE SUGGEST TO PERFORM AN ACCURACY TEST ON THE DEVICE:
are not accurate
versions of control solution available: level N corresponding to a normal blood glucose level, level H
corresponding to a high blood glucose level.
If you continue to get the result falling outside the range, your meter and test strip may not be working
properly.
Try with a new strips vial and in case do not use the system to test your blood glucose until you get a
correct test result. If you are unable to resolve the problem, please contact your local supplier for help.
WARNING: use control solution only for the intended use (blood glucose system accuracy test). The
values printed onto the test strips vial are only intended for accuracy test using control solutions. They do
no represent real life blood glucose levels.

SI CONSIGLIA DI EFFETTUARE UN TEST DI ACCURATEZZA SULL’ APPARECCHIO:

L’intervallo di valori accettabili indicato sulla confezione di strisce può variare da lotto a lotto. Esistono
due tipi di soluzioni di controllo: livello N corrispondente ad un valore di glicemia normale, livello H
corrispondente a valore di glicemia molto alto.
Se ottenete ripetutamente dei risultati errati il vostro sistema potrebbe non funzionare correttamente.
ATTENZIONE: utilizzare la soluzione di controllo solo per l’uso previsto (test di accuratezza del
accuratezza con soluzioni di controllo. Non sono collegati a valori glicemici reali.
