Warning: Improper installation or use of this stove could result in sever injury,
property damage and death. Do not leave this stove unattended and do not use this
stove while occupants are sleeping. An operatable carbon monoxide detector and a
smoke detector must be in the same room as the stove.
Warranty
North Woods Fabrication, LLC. warranties its wood stoves to be free of defects under
normal usage for 6 months from date of purchase.
Assembly Instructions
Attach the legs to the bottom of the stove and the handle to the door using the supplied
hardware. Tighten the hardware using 7/16” wrenches. Connect the gas hose to the valve
using a wrench.
Installation Instructions
This stove is not certified for use in a living space. Use a smoke detector and
carbon monoxide detector in the space that the stove is installed in.



If you are not familiar with propane appliance installation, we recommend seeking
the help of a professional installer.
It is recommended that a flue gas thermometer be installed on the stove pipe 18”
above the stove to monitor flue gas temperatures and ensure the stove is operating
at a safe temperature.
This stove requires a fresh air vent to allow combustion air into the space. A 6” hole
is recommended.
The stove must be installed no closer than 36” from any combustible material. This
distance can be reduced by as much as 2/3 if a heat shield of 24ga. (or thicker)
sheet metal or cement board is used with at least a 1” air space between the heat
shield and a combustible surface.
The stove must be securely mounted on a non-flammable base and vented with 6”
stove pipe rated for propane burning appliances. Follow all stove pipe
manufacturers guidelines along with local and state codes if applicable. North
Woods Fabrication, LLC. recommends vertical stove pipe orientation for optimum
stove performance. The pipe should extend two feet above the highest point of the
roof of the structure.
Use of a heat powered fan is recommended to help distribute heat around your
space.
Stove Operation
This stove is intended to burn propane.
Perform a pre-burn on a new stove outside to allow the stove paint to off-gas and
cure.
Attach the hose to a propane cylinder.
Close the valve on the stove and on the regulator.
Open the propane tank valve, open the valve on the regulator. Check all
connections with soapy water to ensure no leaks.
Slightly open the valve in the front of the stove and immediately introduce a flame
over the burner to light the stove.
If the stove does not light, close the valve, allow the gas to dissipate and repeat the
previous step.
To stop the fire: close all valves.
Stove Maintenance
Regularly inspect the stove and flue system and ensure it if free of damage or wear.
Never operate the stove if there is something wrong.
