1. Precautions to be taken when handling
The following precautions are necessary whenever handling the appliance:
- Handle the appliance with gloves
- Pay special attention to the façade: the painting is very fragile, it will harden completely at the first commissioning.
The painting process will be corrected from June 2014.
Avoid contact between the façade and metal clothing parts (metallic button, belt loop, wristwatch...)

2. New combustion pot
A new combustion pot with a convex bottom, more resistant, has been introduced in production since May 2013.
The reference to be ordered in spare parts is unchanged: 300028849.
`Important: In case of replacement of the combustion pot, also upgrade parameter TRG soll max as described
below.
`Parameter TRG soll max updating
Procedure:
`Access the "After Sales" level, To do so:
- Press menu
- Keep button pressed and at the same time press the button 5 times.
`The line Servicemenu adds to the list displayed on the screen.
`Select line Servicemenu,
`Select line Par. Heizbetrieb,
`Display parameter TRG soll max and set the value at 240. Save by pressing Save.
`Exit this menu by pressing 2 times on button ,
`Quit the service level, therefor : Keep button pressed and at the same time press the button 5 times.
`Line Servicemenu is no longer displayed.

3. New charging screw motor and motor fixing improvement
A new charging screw motor and an improved motor fixing are applied in factory since january 2014, providing quieter
operation of the device.
Ifoperatingisnoisy,replacethemotorbythecurrentversion.Ifthenoisepersists,usethemotorfasteningkitdescribed
below.
Appliancesthat may beaffected by noisymotors are thosewith serial number between 462013... and522013...
(See nameplate, hereafter).
The reference to be ordered in spare parts is unchanged: 300028861 (without mounting kit).
No systematic replacement under warranty.
For the replacement, proceed as described hereafter (See APPENDIX).
Noise reduction mounting kit
If, despite replacing the motor, the noise persists (motor with previous mounting), use the mounting kit available at the
Spare part Centre under the reference 7620523 (Availability for spare part, from: July 2014).
1. Attach the 4 spacers B+ plate E+ support Awith the 4 screws D(do not tighten them) + serrated washers C.
2. Place the motor on the screw axis pressing firmly
3. Tighten the locking screw on the flat side of the transmission shaft.
4. Complete the tightening of the 4 screws D.

4. New pellet ramp
The opening of the pellet ramp changes from 35 mm to 42 mm, to optimize the pellet flow.
Application date in production: March 2014
The reference to be ordered in spare parts is unchanged: 300028851.
The new pellet ramp width 42 is available at the Spare Part Centre since: April 2014.

APPENDIX 2: REPLACEMENT OF THE CHARGING SCREW MOTOR
1. Remove the left hand side panel
2. Dismantle the lower rear panel
Before any work, switch off the mains supply to the appliance.
