Safety Warning.
01 INTRODUCTION
Do not touch hot liquid or steam coming from the machine directly. Touching hot
liquid or steam from the machine is hazardous and can cause burns and other
injuries.
While the machine is in use, only use the handles and switches to touch the
machine. Touching other parts of the machine while it is in use can cause burns or
other potential injuries
The appliance is not to be used by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction
Children shall be supervised not to play with the appliance
The appliance must not be immersed in uid
The lling aperture must not be opened during use
Avoid spillage on the connector
The heating element surface is subject to residual heat after use
The espresso coeemaker shall not be placed in a cabinet when in use
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision

Before placing the screws into the screw holes, lubricate the
screw holes with the mechanical grease
Use your ngers to initially thread the screws into the screw
holes
Use the M3 allen key found on the underside of the machine
base plate to securely tighten the screws.
Plug supplied Power Cord into back of machine.
f the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by a special cord or assembly available
from the manufacturer or its service agent.
Place the magnetic drip tray onto the machine’s
baseplate.
Using the packet of mechanical grease, lightly
grease the piston’s O-rings.
Place the piston in the grouphead of the machine,
with the lever facing you.
Using the screws, stabilize the piston onto the machine by doing the following:

Brewing espresso.
Remove the boiler cap by twistin counter-clockwise 90° to unlock, and then insert
the llin funnel into the hole that was previously covered by the boiler cap
Fill the boiler with water until the water reaches the bottom of the funnel. The water
should be 1 inch or 2.5 cm from the top of the llin funnel
Remove the llin funnel and screw the boiler cap back into the hole.
Close the steam wand valve by turnin it clockwise.
Plu the machine into a power outlet
By adjustin the knob on the left side of the machine, set the temperature (we
recommend 92°C as the startin temperature).
Usin the rocker switch found on the back, turn the machine on
The machine takes about 5 minutes to heat for use.
Once the machine is ready to use, the reen

Fill the p rtalter with gr und c ee, and level the gr unds using a leveling t l
r y ur nger t create an even surface (all machines ship with an 18g basket).
On a stable and level surface, h ld the base f the p rtalter at. Using the
tamper, c mpress the espress gr unds as evenly as p ssible, and then brush
remaining gr unds the t p and ar und the edge.
In the gr uphead f the espress machine, align the p rtalter gears int the
gr ves, push the p rtalter up until it hits the gasket, and then turn it t the right
until it l cks (f r ease f use, place ne hand n the baseplate f the machine
when installing the p rtalter).
The handle sh uld be relatively centered nce it is in the l cked p siti n.
Aligned under the p rtalter, place a cup n the drip tray.
While placing y ur n n-d minant hand n the p rtalter handle, pull the t p lever
n the pist n upwards.
Once the hissing s unds begins (the air escaping), using appr ximately 17 lbs f
f rce, pull the pist n lever d wnward at a steady rate t c mplete the p ur.

Steaming milk.
With the espresso machine turned on, press the knurled temperature knob in to
switch on the high temperature steaming mode (as conrmed by the LED indicator).
Fill a pouring vessel halfway with milk.
Using a rag, purge the water out of the machine by turning the steam valve knob
towards yourself.
CAUTION: Ensure that the steam wand is pointed away from you and into a drip
tray to avoid severe burns.
Hold the vessel with one hand and place the steam wand into the vessel with the tip
of the wand barely submerged.
Open the steam valve so that steam is shooting into the milk.
Once the vessel is warm in your hand, turn the steam valve o, and then press the
temperature knob in again to turn the steam mode o so that the LED light is no
longer illuminated.
Using a rag, wrap the rag around the tip of the steam wand (while keeping your
hand clear of steam trajectory), and then open the valve to purge the steam and
remaining milk.
Turn the machine o.

Cleaning after use.
Unlock the portalter by t isting it to the left, and then remove it from the machine.
Discard all remaining grounds in the portalter by ipping the portalter, and then
tapping it onto an even surface.
Using a rag, ipe the inside of the portalter clean.
If you are not steaming milk, turn the machine o.
