display.
Stand
Do not placethe display uniton an unstableplace.
The TV mayfall resulting in serious personal
injuries to nearbypeople as wellas damage to the
display unit.
Ventilation
Do not coveror block thesevents and openingslocated
on the topand back ofthe display.Inadequate ventilation
may cause overheatingand shorten thelifespan of thedisplay.
Do not placein an enclosedarea such as a built-in shelf,
unless proper ventilationis provided orthe manufacturer's
instructions are followed.Keep the distanceof 10cm
minimum between thedisplay unit andwall. Never installthe
display unit asindicated in thepicture below.

Never insert objects or spill liquid
into the displayunit
Never insert anyobject into thedisplay unit through
openings or spillliquid on thedisplay unit. High
voltage flows inthe display unit,and inserting an
object can causeelectric shock and/orshort internal
parts.
Keep away from water and moisture
Do not placethe display inareas where moistureis
present or where the unit may get wet such as bath-
rooms, kitchen, poolarea or ina wet basement.
AC cord protection
The ACcords must berouted properly toprevent
people from steppingon them orobjects from resting
on them. Checkthe cords atthe plugs andproduct.
Keep away from heat sources
Keep the displayunit away fromheat sources such
as radiators, heaters,stoves and other
heat-generating products.
The liquid crystalpanel used in this
product is made of glass
Do not hitthe panel. Becareful to preventfrom
getting hurt bybroken glass piecesin case thepanel
breaks.

All operating instructionsmust be followed.

display
Carrying the displayrequires two ormore people.
Attachments
Do not useattachments not recommendedby the
manufacturer. Useof inadequate attachmentsmay
result in accidentsto nearby poepleor to theunit.
Power source
This product mustoperate on apower source
specified on thespecification label. Ifyou are not
sure of thetype of powersupply used inyour home,
consult your dealeror local powercompany. For
units designed tooperate on batteriesor another
power source, referto the operatinginstructions.
Overloading
Do not overloadAC outletsor extension cords.It
may result inelectric shock orstart a fire.
Wall mounting
Be sure toinstall the displayunit according tothe
method recommended bythe manufacturer.Use
only the mountinghardware recommended bythe
manufacturer.
Servicing
Do not attemptto service thedisplay unit yourself
unless specified bythe manufacturer.
Failure to thisrule will voidthe warranty ofthe unit.
Removing covers exposeyou to highvoltage and
other dangerous conditions.
Request a qualifiedservice technician toperform the
service.

Upon completion ofservice or maintenance,request
the service technicianto perform safetychecks to
ensure that thedisplay unit isin proper operating
condition.
Environment
The display unitonly operates within the
temperature 0C to 40 C.Operation outside ofthe
recommended may causedamage to yourproduct.
Replacement parts
In case thedisplay unit needsreplacement parts,
make sure thatthe service technicianuses replacement
parts specified bythe manufacturer, orthose with
the same characteristicsand performance asthe
original parts. Useof unauthorized partscan result
in fire, electricshock and/or otherdanger.
Repair
When the displayunit displays anabnormal
condition, any noticeableabnormality in thedisplay
unit indicates thatthe display unitneeds servicing.
If any ofthe following conditionsoccurs, unplug
the ACcord from theAC outlet,and request a
qualified service personto perform repairs.
1.A liquid was spilled on the display unit or objects
have fallen intothe display unit.
2.The display unit has been exposed to rain or water.
3.The display unit has been dropped or damaged.

includes a DVIinput that receivesanalog or
digital video signalsthrough the interface for
the display ofhigh quality digitalvideo signals.
The DVI portis HDCP (HighBandwidth Digital
Content Protection) compliantand is fully
compatible with videoequipment that features
the HDCP function.The VGAinput can be used
for analog RGBsignals from aHD Receiver or
personal computer.Resolutions supported are
VGA, SVGA, XGAand WXGA. DVI and VGA
share AudioL/R inputs.

Note: When connecting anAudio output signal, an external Audio

Volumeadjustment must be made on the home theatre receiver. By not

Pr jacks tothe Y, Pb andPr jacks onthe TV.
Colors on ComponentVideo connectors:
Y: Green
Pb (also identified as Cb, CB or B-Y): Blue
Pr (also identified as Cr, CR orR-Y): Red
Note: The Y, Pb andPr jacks on your DVD player are sometimes labeled
as Y, Cb andCr, or B-Yand R-Y. If so, connect the cables to the
matching colors.
2.Using anAudio cable,connect the DVDplayer's AudioOUT jacks to
the TV'sAudio in jacks.
Note: Use this methodof connection ifyour DVD Playerhas component
(Y,Pb, Pr) jacks.
Note: The Y, Pb andPr jacks do not provide audio, so audio cables must
