GENERAL
The BS-463/A (figure 1) is a keyboard which
cooperates only with BS-468 panel or BS-
468/A panel from Olympia Electronics.
Using the BS-463/A we can do only simple
operations on the panel such as
arming/disarming and code entry. To fully
program the panel you need the BS-466 (for
BS-468 panel) or BS-466/A (for BS-468/A
panel) or a personal computer.
KEYBOARD INDICATORS
Lit means that the panel has an
error and blinking means that there
is an alarm
Α System fully armed
Β System partially armed
Blinks when there is no power
supply 230V AC
CONTROL KEYS
0-9 number entries.
* Menu entry and Enter.
# Cancel key ESC.
A, B, C, ABC keys for immediate arming
without a code.
C and ABC simultaneously to send a panic
signal.
OPERATION
The control of the BS-463/A is simple.
Press the key # and then enter the required
code.
PROGRAMMING
There are 3 parameters that can be altered
on the keyboard: the address, the
illumination level and the function of the
buzzer. In order to make an alteration, the
keyboard must be set to programming
mode by the technician. The above is done
by pressing the key

PROGRAMMING

keyboard must be set to programming
mode by the technician. The above is done
by pressing the key

For example
* 9 9 9 9
For a system with the default factory codes.
If the code is correct then all four indicators
blink and the buzzer is heard 3 times. From
that time we have 1 minute to make the
required change in the keyboard’s
operation.
CHANGING THE ADDRESS
We press the keys
0 0 Χ Χ
Where Χ is the address that can vary from 2
to 9.
For example, if we want to enter the
address 4 then we type
0 0 4 4
If the entry is correct then an instant beep is
heard from the buzzer and the keyboard
turns to idle state, deactivating all the
indications.

Olympia Electronics guarantees the quality, condition and operation of the goods. The
period of warranty is specified in the official catalogue of Olympia Electronics and also in
the technical leaflet, which accompanies each product. This warranty ceases to exist if the
buyer does not follow the technical instructions included in official documents given by
Olympia Electronics or if the buyer modifies the goods provided or has any repairs or re-
setting done by a third party, unless Olympia Electronics has fully agreed to them in
writing. Products that have been damaged can be returned to the premises of our
company for repair or replacement, as long as the warranty period is valid.
Olympia Electronics reserves the right to repair or to replace the returned goods and to or
not charge the buyer depending on the reason of defection. Olympia Electronics reserves
the right to charge or not the buyer the transportation cost.
