Assembly Instructions
Assembly Instructions
Step 1:
FOR CABINETS WITH FACE FRAMES:
The EVO Pull-Out Pantry unit will have to be cut to length to fit
correctly into the cabinet that you will be mounting the unit into.
To determine the correct length the upper spacer blocks will
have to be installed first to provide a reference surface to mea-
sure from. The assembled Spacer Blocks provided will fit most
cabinets that have a 3” Face Rail positioned above the opening
where the Pull-Out Pantry unit will be mounted. If the cabinet has
a narrower upper Face Rail, the assembled Spacer Blocks can
be disassembled and fewer spacers can be used to work with
other sizes of Face Frame Rail
s.
The pre-assembled Spacer Blocks should work without the
additional 3/8” Spacer when used with cabinetry with a 3” wide
Face Rail, and as long as the upper shelf is either ½” or ¾” thick.
However, it is critical that you verify that when the assembled
Spacer Blocks are positioned under the top shelf, the slide
mounting surface is no more than 1/16 above the bottom edge of
the 3” Face Rail, or does not extend down past the
bottom edge
of the 3” Face Rail for more than ¾”.
Please note that the EVO Pull-Out Pantry unit can be installed in either a Face Frame cabinet
design that utilizes standard ¾” thick face frames (rails and stiles), or it can be installed in Fra-
meless Cabinets.
The following installation instructions are only for both cabinet designs. Frameless style cabi-
nets will not require the Spacer Blocks as the Ball Bearing Slide will attach directly to the bot-
tom of the upper shelf. If you are installing the unit in a Frameless style cabinet, skip Steps 1
and start with section 2.

Ideally, the assembled Spacer
Blocks should be flush with the
bottom edge of the cabinet‘s 3” Face Rail to provide the least
amount of exposure of the Spacer Blocks once the unit is
assembled. However, as long as the Upper Ball Bearing Bearing
Slide when mounted on the Spacer Blocks can extend past the
3” Face Rail without making contact with the Face Rail, the unit
will work correctly.

Before mounting the Spacer Block in place, the Upper Ball Bear-
ing slide must be mounted to the Spacer Block in the correct
direction.
Extend open the slide approximately 5 inches. Position the Up-
per Slide so that the back end of the slide is 1/8" past the end
of the Spacer Block, and the mounting holes line up. Using the
2 #8 x 1/2" Flat Head Phillips Wood Screws from the Fulterer
Hardware pack, fasten the End Stop Tab and Slide into position
on the Spacer Block, the slide will be 3/8” behind the forward
end of the Spacer Block. Finish fastening the Slide down to
the Spacer Block by screwing the #8 X 5/8 Truss Head Phillips
Screws into the two holes below the large holes in the Slide.
With the slide attached to the Spacer Blocks the next step is
locating the center line of the cabinet and marking a line on the
bottom of the upper shelf. From this reference line mark a sec-
ond reference line 1 15/16” to the left or right of the center line.
The edge of the 3.875” wide Spacer Block will line up to second
line. While holding the Spacer Block against the bottom of the
upper shelf and also flush against the back edge of the front
cabinet rail, attach the Spacer Block with four #8 X 1 ¼ Flat Head
Phillips Screws by screwing into the 4” wide Spacer Block down
through the upper shelf, using the four predrilled clearance holes.
Verify the slide is perpendicular to the front face rail and is cen-
tered in the cabinet. Now you are ready to measure the actual
opening for trimming the Pull-Out Pantry to size.
We recommend the Spacer Block be attached with the 1 ¼”
length #8 Flat Head Screws through the top side of the shelf.
This will require that you locate the center line position of the
upper shelf and drill at least four screw clearance holes through
this shelf for the mounting the Spacer Blocks that will be posi-
tioned under the top shelf. These four holes should be drilled in
two locations 1” to the left and right of the center line of the cabi-
net. The holes should be clearance holes for the #8 size screws
(3/16” size drill). This will ensure the Space Blocks will pull up
tight against the bottom of the shelf when they are screwed into
place.

We recommend that the Pull-Out Pantry unit be temporarily as-
sembled with the Front/Back Panels, top and bottom shelves, to
allow pre-drilling of the assembly holes in the Top and Bottom of
the Pull-Out Pantry unit. This will ensure that the Bottom will be
accurately aligned if or when the Front/Back Panels of the Pull-
Out Pantry unit are trimmed to a new length.
To temporarily assemble the Pull-Out Pantry unit, screw four
Dowel Screws into each Front/Back Panel, 2 at the top and 2 at
the bottom (the top of the Front/Back Panels are edge banded).

Step 2: Determining the correct size of the Roll-Out Pantry
unit, and cutting the Front/Back Panels for assembly.
The measurement for the opening must be in reference to the
mounting surface of the upper slide (in a European style cabi-
net this reference surface is the bottom of the upper shelf) and
the top surface of the bottom shelf. To accurately measure this
dimension when using a spacer block, locate the 3/8” surface
on the Spacer Block that is visible when the upper Ball Bearing
Slide is fully retracted. Then measure down to the surface of the
lower shelf. For the European cabinet the bottom of the upper
shelf should be measured at the location of the slide (in the cen-
ter area of the shelf).
Subtract from this measured distance 5 1/2” to fi nd the correct
overall length for the Front/Back Panels of the Pull-Out Pantry.
An example of the problem is follows:
Size of the cabinet’s opening from the upper
slide mounting surface to the top surface of
53.375 the bottom shelf.
- 5.500
Height of Top and Bottom Slide Hardware
47.875 The overall length the Front/Back Panels
of the Pull-Out Pantry unit must be cut to
before the unit is assembled.

Place one of the Pull-Out Pantry Front/Back Panels on its
edge on a fl at surface and engage the dowels and plastic
“wedge fi x” fasteners located in the Top and Bottom Shelves.

Lay the sides of the Pull-Out Pantry unit on a fl at surface
with the 32mm spaced holes visible. Measure from the top
edge of the side panel (the top edge is Edge Banded and
Bottom edge is not) and mark the new length the panel must
be cut to. Cut the Front/Back Panels to length. The two sec-
tions that have been cut from the Front/Back Panels have
the assembly holes accurately drilled in them, and therefore
should be used to guide the location of the holes required on
the shortened Front/Back Panels in order to attach the Bot-
tom accurately back into place.

Use these two cut off sections as drill guides, position them
against the surface of the Front/Back Panels that have the
32mm spaced holes and clamp them into place. Drill through
the four screw holes located by drilling through the Front/
Back Panels using an 5/32” drill bit

Using a 1/8” drill bit, mark the drill bit 1 3/4" from the tip with
masking tape, pre-drill the Bottom and Top by using the
through holes in the Front/Back Panels of the Pull-Out Pan-
try to the marked 1 3/4" depth. Now that the holes have been
pre-drilled in the Bottom and Top, the Front/Back Panels
can then be removed from the top shelf and modifi ed (cut to
length). Using a soft mallet, gently tap the top shelf back off
of the front/back panels.
Attach the other Front/Back Panel to the Top and the Bottom
by engaging the dowels and plastic “wedge fi x” fasteners lo-
cated in the Top and Bottom. Make sure all the fasteners are
fully engaged and the Top and Bottom are aligned and fl ush
with the Front/Back Panels.
The Pull-Out Pantry should now look like the illustration to
the right.

Now the unit needs the U-Profi le Top Guide installed. Please
note that the top and bottom Guides look similar but are not
interchangeable. Measure and locate and mark the center line
where the top U-Profi le Guide is to be installed. Locate the top
U-Profi le Top Guide and install with the oval slot on the guide
positioned towards the front of the Pull-Out Pantry unit. The U-
Profi le Top Guide must be placed so the front edge of the guide
is positioned behind the face frame of the cabinet, so the posi-
tion of the end of the slide needs to be against the inside edge
of the Pull-out Pantry front/back panels,
The Bottom U-Profi le Guide must be removed from the Lower
Slide assembly by tapping the U-Guide forward as you hold the
Lower Slide. Once it is removed, locate the elongated screw
hole, as that is the front of the slide. The Bottom U-Profi le Guide
needs to be mounted to the center line of the bottom shelf of the
Pull-Out Unit, at a position that has the front end of the U-Profi le
Guide positioned against the inside edge of the Front Panel.
This U-Profi le Guide is attached to the bottom of the Pull-Out
Pantry unit with #8 X 5/8 Pan Head Phillips Screws in three
locations.

Install Wire Fences into the holes on the shelves and in the bot-
tom making sure to seat them fi rmly into the holes. This should
be done before installing the shelves in the unit.
Reassemble the front/back panels to the top and bottom taking
care to get the screws started in the holes you have previously
drilled in the top and bottom. Use the #8 x 1 3/4" Flate head-
screws.
Screw the dowel screws in the front and back panels at the de-
sired shelf height and push the self down fi rmly onto the dowel
to seat the shelf.

The bottom slide has two large set screws at the front of the
slide that need to be adjusted to center the Pull-Out pantry unit
in the opening. Adjust these two set screws but do not tighten
them as the vertical adjustment must be completed by the lower
set screw on the bottom slide. Adjust so the front of the unit is
parallel with the face of the cabinet. The door opening can have
either the door mounted to the face (front) of the Roll-Out Pan-
try, or the door can be hinge mounted to the cabinet face frame.
Screws are provided for mounting the door to the Pull-Out
Pantry unit’s front panel. After mounting the door, complete the
adjustment of the lower slide and tighten the two side set screws
to lock the adjustment.

To mount the lower slide assembly on the lower cabinet shelf,
the center line of the cabinet must be marked as a reference
line. Extend the slide unit to see the mounting holes along the
center of the bottom section of the slide. With the bottom section
positioned over the center line, with the line visible through the
mounting holes, position the slide so the front edge of the bot-
tom section touches the inside edge of the cabinet face frame.
Screw the lower slide assembly to the lower cabinet shelf with
eleven #8 X 5/8” Truss Head Phillips Screws. Be very careful
not to over tighten the screws and cause the screws to spin after
they have been brought up to tension.
You are now ready to assemble the Pull-Out Pantry unit onto
the slides. The Bottom slide must be fully extended and the
upper U-Profi le Guide Safety –Clip must be in the open posi-
tion. Refer to the Fulterer instructions for details. Place the
Roll-Out Pantry Unit on the extended lower slide assembly with
the Roll-Out Pantry positioned approximately 4 inches forward
of the normal extended position. As the unit is pushed back into
the cabinet, the lower slide will begin to engage and the upper
guide will need to be aligned as the guide wheels travel inside
of the Upper U-profi le Guide. As the unit is pushed to the back
of the cabinet, the slide will “skid” slightly and will require slightly
more force the fi rst time it is pushed closed. Pull the unit out far
enough to close the Safety Clip on the Upper U-Profi le Guide.
