type-1
The B&R Runtime Environment dongle is used to unlock the connection between the
BBU system and the B&R touchscreen of the Bourg BB3xO2 perfectbinder.
All pre-Summer 2017 BBU systems are shipped with the Type-1 dongle which runs on the
3.x.x B&R Runtime Environment. ln order to run the Type-2 dongle your system need to
run B&R Runtime Environment 4.x.x. or higher.
lf you receive a B&R PVI error message popup after launching the BBU software, this could
mean the following:
1. the B&R dongle is not plugged in.
2. you try to run a Type-2 dongle on a 3.x.x or lower Runtime Environment.
3. driver issue.
