PREPARATION
BATTERY OPERATION:
The unit has a built-in 3.7V Li-ion rechargeable battery. This battery allows
approximately 35 minutes for video recording.
To charge the built-in battery:
Via Personal Computer or USB Charger
1. Connect the Mini USB Plug from the supplied USB Connection Cable to the Mini
USB Port on the unit.
2. Connect the full size USB Plug on the cable to the USB Port on any Personal
Computer or USB Charger (not included). Then:
If the Micro SD Card is inserted to the unit, the unit will be automatically
powered on and enter to record mode.The Blue and Red Indicator will
illuminate. Then the Red Indicator will turn off. The Blue Indicator will blink.

Short press Button to stop the video recording. Then the Blue Indicator
will illuminate. If there is no activity for 1 minute, the unit will power off and
retain some charge.
If without the Micro SD Card, the unit will be automatically powered on. The
Blue and Red Indicator will illuminate. Then the Blue Indicator will turn off.
The Red Indicator will keep blinking. When finished charging, the Red
Indicator will stop blinking and illuminate.
3. Before first time use, charge it approximately 30 minutes until the unit is fully
charged.
NOTES:
If there is no activity for 1 minute, the unit will power off automatically.
When the battery runs out, the Blue Indicator will blink five times then turn off.
The unit will power off.
SUCTION CUP MOUNTING
To use the unit as a Car Dash Cam, mount the supplied Suction Cup in your car as
illustrated below:
1. Install the Camera Clip to the unit as illustrated below:
2. Install the Camera Clip to the Suction Cup as illustrated below:
3. Push the Suction Cup on your windshield (or any smooth surface) then press
the Knob on the Suction Cup to lock it as illustrated below:

4. Loosen the Plastic Nut by turning it counterclockwise. Adjust the angle of the
unit as desired then tighten the Nut by turning it clockwise as illustrated below:

Toremove the mount from the windshield, lift the Knob then pull Cup by the
tab on it as illustratedbelow:
MEMORY CARD
A 8 GB blank Micro SD Card is already installed into the Micro SD Card Slot. Totake out
the card or replace new card asbelow:

Toremove the card, use your finger to take out the Micro SDCard as illustrated below:
2. To reinstall or replace the card. Insert the card (or any new Micro SD Card, upto
32 G, Class 6 or up) into the Micro SD Card Slot with the contacts facing to Lens
side as illustrated below:

NOTES:
Before replacing a Micro SD Card, make sure the unit is powered off.
When inserting the Micro SD Card, make sure it is facing in the proper
direction.
Never force a card in violently, as it may damage the card or the unit. If
it doesn’t fit easily, check to ensure it is facing in the correctposition.
Please format the memory card prior to the first time it is used in
this device.
Important: Formatting the Micro SD Card will delete all the files on the card. Upload
the files to your computer before formatting the card
OPERATION
Car Dash Cam Mode:
1.
Recharge the built-in battery, as instructed earlier, and connect the power
supply to the car
’
s cigarette lighter socket for uninterrupted recording.
2.
Mount the unit to the desired location on the car
’
s windshield (or any
smooth surface) as instructed earlier.
3. When the unit is plugged in, it will automatically power on when you start your
car. At this time the Red and Blue Indicators will illuminate and the unit will enter
1080P Video recording mode.
4. When the unit is plugged out or you stall your car, the unit will automatically
power off.
Mini Action Cam Mode:
1. Recharge the built-in battery, as instructed earlier.
2. Press and hold the Button for 1 second, the Blue and Red Indicators will
illuminate, Then the Red Indicator will turn off. The unit will enter Standby Mode.
3. Short press the Button, the Blue Indicator will blink. The unit will start video
recording.
4. Short press the Button again to stop video recording. The Blue Indicator will
stop blinking.
5. To power off, press and hold the Button for 6 seconds, the Blue Indicator will
blink three times then turn off.
Notes:
When the unit is without Micro SD Card, power on the unit, the Blue and Red Indicators
will blink Five times then turn off. The unit will power off.

Working Mode:
This unit supports three Video Modes: 1080P/720P/VGA and one Picture Mode. The
default setting is 1080P. The Indicator status for each Modes as below:
1080P Standby: Blue Indicator illuminates
1080P Recording: Blue Indicator blinks
720P Standby: Blue and Red Indicators illuminate
720P Recording: Blue and Red Indicators blink
VGA Standby: Red Indicator illuminates, Blue Indicator blinks
VGA Recording: Red Indicator illuminates, Blue Indicator blinks slowly
Picture Mode: Red Indicator illuminates.
In standby Mode, short press Button to switch between the four Modes.
1080P Video Mode
1. Power on the unit as instructed earlier.
2. The unit is in 1080P standby Mode, the Blue Indicator illuminates.
3. Short press the Button, the unit will start 1080P video recording. The Blue
Indicator will blink.
4. Short press the Button again to stop recording, the Blue indicator will stop
blinking and illuminate.
720P Video Mode
1. Enter 1080P standby Mode as instructed earlier.
2. Short press Button, the Blue and Red Indicator will illuminate. The unit will be in
720P standby Mode.
3. Short press Button, the Blue and Red Indicator will blink. The unit will start 720p
video recording.
4. Short press Button again to stop recording, the Blue and Red Indicator will stop
blinking and illuminate.
VGA Video Mode
1. Enter 720P standby Mode as instructed earlier.
2. Short Press Button, the Blue Indicator will blink, the Red Indicator will illuminate.
The unit will be VGA standby Mode.
3. Short press Button, the Blue Indicator will blink slowly. The unit will start VGA
Video recording.
4. Short press again to stop recording, the Blue Indicator will blink as fast as before.
Picture Mode.
1. Enter VGA standby Mode as instructed earlier.
2. Short Press Button, the Red Indicator will illuminate. The unit will be Picture
Mode.
3. Short Press Button once to take a picture. The Red Indicator will blink one time.
Notes:
When you set the unit to other Modes (720P, VGA, Picture), restart the unit and it
will back to 1080P Video Mode.
The unit will record video in 5 minutes increments and it will continually create new

video clips as it records. When it runs out of space on the memory card, the unit will
automatically record over the oldest files by date.
Dark Mode:
1. Power on the unit and enter any standby Mode as instructed earlier.
2. Press and hold the Button for 3 seconds then release, the Red Indicator will
blink two times then turn off.
3. The Infrared LEDs will turn on. The video quality in dark environments will be
improved.
4. In Standby Mode press and hold the Button for 3 seconds then release again
to turn off the Dark Mode, the Red Indicator will blink two times then turn off.
Motion Detection Mode:
1. Power on the unit and enter one of the three video record standby Mode
(720P/1080P/VGA) as instructed earlier.
2. Press and hold the Button for 2 seconds then release, the Red Indicator will blink.
The unit will turn to Motion Detection Mode.
3. Once the Lens detects any movement in front of the unit, It will start video
recording till 1 minute after the movement stops, then it will be back to the Motion
Detection Mode. The Red Indicator will blink again.
4. Short press any Buttons to exit Motion Detection Mode, the unit will stop video
recording and back to video record standby Mode.
To upload photo/video files to your PC:
1. Connect the supplied USB Connection Cable to the Mini USB Port on the unit.
2. Connect the full size USB end of the cable to a USB Port on the Computer.
3. The unit will automatically power on. The Blue Indicator will illuminate and the
Red Indicator will keep blinking.
4.
Wait a few moments, the storage folder for the unit will appear on the computer
screen.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to watch, upload or save the files to the PC.
NOTE:
Compatible computer operation system: Windows XP; Windows Vista;
Windows 7; Windows 8 and Windows10.

Time Stamp Change:
1. Connect the unit to the computer as instructed earlier.
2. Open the storage folder on the computer.
3. You will find a TXT file named “TIMEREST.txt”in the storage folder.
4. Open the TXT file then input the time as a fixed format: “Year Month Day Hour
Minute Second Y/N”. For example, “2019-06-10,19:25:26Y”means 19:25:26, June
10, 2019.
5. Save the changes of the TXT file then disconnect the unit to computer.
6. Power on the unit. The time setting will be activated.
7. You will find the desired time stamp on the left bottom of the video screen.
Note: If you do not need the Time stamp on the video, rewrite the default time setting
“2019-01-01,00:00:00Y”to any other time, and change “Y”to “N”.
TV Mode:
1. Power on the unit as instructed earlier.
2. Connect the supplied USB Connection Cable to the Mini USB Port on the unit.
3. Connect the TV out end of the cable to a TV out port on the TV.
4. You can see the live image from the unit on the TV.
5. Then you can take video or picture as instructed earlier.
