INTRODUCTION
Congratulaons on your purchase of the Opx “Side/Rear View Camera Kit”. These cameras can be
used in a number of dierent conguraons. When connected to a screen as side view cameras, you can
safely monitor the sides of the vehicle and blind spot areas that are hard to see. These cameras are fully
adjustable and can be used as either side mount or boom mount by opening up the shroud and chang-
ing the posion on the camera. Reverse camera opon is also available with the boom mount opon, but
only one camera is used with this applicaon.

Type 1: Fender Mount
1. Inspect the area for suitable mounng locaon (make sure camera cable is clear of
any moving parts) We recommend tesng the locaon for opmum viewing angle be-
fore permanently mounng camera.(See example below)
2. Use the pre-installed fender shroud on camera to mount.
3. Clean the surface on vehicle and camera to get rid of any oils or dirt (adhesion pro-
moter recommended).
4. Using the appropriate camera (le or right) apply the 3M adhesive tape to camera
and secure to vehicle.
5. Route the cables through the vehicle and connect to monitor.
6. Repeat steps 1-5 for other side.

Type 2: Boom Mount (Adapng the camera)
MOUNTING PLATE
STEP 1 - REMOVE 3 SCREWS STEP 2 - REMOVE WIRE SCREW STEP 3 -
A. MARK AND NOTE THE TOP OF
CAMERA
B. ROTATE CAMERA COUNTER
CLOCKWISE
90 DEGREES (1/4 TURN)
C. PLACE CAMERA BACK IN HOUSING
STEP 4 - INSERT CABLE STEP 5 - REASSEMBLE 3 SCREWS STEP 6 - CLEAN AND AFFIX 3M TAPE

Type 2: Boom Mount
1. Inspect the area for suitable mounng locaon (make sure camera cable is clear of any moving
parts) We recommend tesng the locaon for opmum viewing angle before permanently mount-
ing camera. (See example below)
2. If doing under the mirrors, route the wires into the door and zip e on to exisng harnesses. The
wires should be routed from the door to the inside of the vehicle through the factory door harness.
3. Switch the camera mount as per instrucon on page 5 In Owners manual.
4. Drill a 1/4” hole in mounng area
5. Clean the surface on vehicle and camera to get rid of any oils or dirt (adhesion promoter recom-
mended).
6. Using the appropriate camera (le or right) apply 3M adhesive tape to camera. Run cable
through 3M adhesive pad and mounng hole then connect to wire ran in step 2.
7. Peel back the adhesive cover and mount the camera to the vehicle . (Point camera at 45 degrees
for best viewing angle)
