OPERATINGINSTRUCTIONS
1. Measurethericewithincludedmeasuringcup. Onecupofrawricemakes approximately3cupscooked
rice. Beforecookingrice,it’s recommendedwashthe rice withwaterinabowl until thewaterisrelatively
clear.
2.Place desired quantity ofrice (afterwashit)in the pot. Add waterin the potaccordingfollowing chart:

3. Place potincooker.To place itcorrectly, turnpotgentlyto rightand left. Closethelidfirmly.
4.Connectthesupplied powercord tocookerand plug ittomains. Turnonthe rice cookerputting ON/OFF
switchin“I” position. Don’tturnonthe rice cookeruntil therice is readytobecooked, otherwiseitwon’t
preparewell. If thepotisnotinthecooker,itwon’twork.
5.Pushfunctionswitch, “COOK” red lightwill lightand the cookerwill startto work.
6.Whenthericeiscooked,the functionswitch will disconnectautomaticallyand youwill hearaclick. At
the sametime “COOK”lightwill turnoff and “WARM” lightwill turnon,indicatingthat keepwarm
functionis activated to avoid thericegets cold.
7.Itis recommended letcooked ricein“WARM” functionfor6-8minutes.
8.DisconnectthecookerwithON/OFF switch (0position)andunplug itafterits using.
HINTS
-Washthe rice: brangivesanunpleasantodorwhilericecooking. To removethe branitis recommended
washing therice withwarmwater. However, washthe ricemay causeloss pfvitamins andnutrients.
-“Keepwarm” function: using this functionformorethan12 hoursmay causediscolorationand bad odor.
Thesoonerriceis servedthe betteritwill taste.Itis betterto usethis functionshortlybeforetoeat itor
whileyouareeating therice to avoid gettingcold.
-Steamcooking: add as muchwateras youneedinpot. Place thesteameronthe pot. Ifyouwantto cook
rice at thesametime thanusingsteameradd 1/8measuringcupofwaterto pot.
CLEANING
Beforecleaning,unplug the unitfromthemains and letitcooldowncompletely.
1.Removethepotandthelidandwashthemwithwarmwateranddetergent.Ensuretorinsethem
completelywhenyoufinish, afterthat drythemwithsoftcloth.
2.Cleanoutsideofcookerwithdampcloth,neveruseascourerorabrasivedetergents, youcould spoilit.
Insteadofit,softclothorlightlywetspongewithwateranddetergent.Neverimmerseanypartofthe
cookerinwaterexcept potand lid.
3.Grainsofriceorotherkindofmealmay beplacedonheatingplate.Youhavetoremoveittoavoid
uneven cooking.If itisnecessaryuseaknifeorsimilarinstrumenttoremoveit.Afterwards, steelwood
canbeusedtosmoothoutandpolishtheareatoinsuregoodcontactbetweenheaterplateandbottom
ofpot.
