Allgemeine Produkthinweise
Wir freuen uns, dass Sie sich für ein Qualitätsprodukt aus dem Hause Ossenberg entschieden haben. Sie haben sich für ein
technisch ausgereiftes und nach dem neusten Stand der Technik konstruiertes und zuverlässiges Produkt entschieden.
1. Anwendung des SafebrellaDUO
Geliefert wird die Schirm/Stock-Kombination mit einem Adapter. Er ist auf den Stock geschraubt, auf dem Adapter folgt der
Echtholzgriff. Beide Teile sind im Lieferzustand nur locker aufgeschraubt.
Stellen Sie fest ob der SafebrellaDUO für Sie die richtige Höhe hat. Ist er zu hoch, haben Sie die Möglichkeit durch Entfernen
des Adapters die Höhe um 3 cm zu verringern und so gehen Sie dann vor:
Öffnen Sie den Schirm, so wie Sie es gewohnt sind, mit dem Schieber nach oben bis zum Anschlag. Er arretiert sich von selbst.
Jetzt wird am unteren Ende vom Griff ein kleiner Kugelknopf sichtbar. Mit einer Hand den Schirmstock festhalten bei
gleichzeitigem Herunterdrücken der Taste. Mit der anderen Hand den oberen Griff anfassen und den Gehstock herausziehen.
Den Schirm geöffnet oder geschlossen beiseitelegen. Mit einer Hand den Adapter anfassen, mit der anderen Hand den Griff
abschrauben und anschließend den Adapter vom Stock. Danach den Griff wieder auf den Stock schrauben. Jetzt prüfen ob die so
eingestellte Stockhöhe richtig ist und der Griff fest genug sitzt. Um die Stockhöhe zu prüfen brauchen Sie nicht den Schirm dazu,
denn beide Teile, Stock und Schirm sind mit oder ohne Adapter in der Länge immer nahezu identisch.
Soll der Stock wieder mit dem Schirm verbunden werden, genügt ein zügiges Einschieben, dabei braucht der Kugelkopf nicht
extra herunter gedrückt werden! Wird beim Anschlag das Loch im Schirmstock nicht sofort erreicht, den Stock ein wenig drehen
bis der Knopf automatisch einspringt. Sollte die Stockhöhe selbst mit dem geliefertem Adapter zu kurz sein, kann ein zweiter
Adapter aufgeschraubt werden. Dieser ist als Zubehör gegen Mehrpreis erhältlich.
BITTE BEACHTEN:
Der Kugelknopf ist ausschließlich für die unkomplizierte und schnelle Verbindung von Gehstock und Regenschirm gedacht, nicht
aber als Sperrhilfe für kräftige Schraubbewegungen. Deshalb immer z u e r s t den Gehstock herausziehen und wie zuvor
beschrieben vorgehen!
Ein Tipp:
Nach dem Regen den Schirm immer aufgespannt (nicht in der Sonne) trocknen lassen!
Sind die Gummipuffer von Stock und Schirm einmal abgelaufen, können Sie diese in Ihrem Fachgeschäft als Ersatzteile
nachkaufen.
Bemerkung: Auch ohne Schirm ist der leichte, elegante Stock stabil, denn er ist belastbar nach CE-Norm bis 100 kg!

Mit feuchtem Tuch und ggf. mit mildem HH-Reiniger abwischen und trocknen lassen.

Bitte erkundigen Sie sich bei Ihrem Fachhändler nach den regionalen Entsorgungsvorschriften.
5. Gewährleistung und Haftung
Sie haben ein hochwertiges Ossenberg-Produkt erworben. Sollte trotz höchster Qualitätsstandards in unserer Fertigung ein
berechtigter Sachmangel auftreten, steht Ossenberg das Recht zu, im Rahmen einer 12-monatigen Gewährleistung, nach
eigener Wahl die mangelhafte Sache nachzubessern oder durch eine mangelfreie Nachlieferung zu ersetzen. Es ist zu beachten,
dass für unsere Anfertigungen, insbesondere Sonderanfertigungen, verschärfte gesetzliche Bestimmungen gelten. Für Schäden,
die durch die Veränderungen an unseren Produkten entstanden sind, können wir keine Haftung übernehmen. Nicht von der
Gewährleistung erfasst sind Mängel, die auf Verschleiß oder unsachgemäße Behandlung zurückzuführen sind. Verschleißteile
sind von der Gewährleistung ausgeschlossen. Für das gesamte Sortiment der Ossenberg-Produkte stehen Originalersatzteile und

General product information
We are pleased that you have chosen a quality product from the company Ossenberg. You have decided for a technically
advanced and after the latest technology engineered and reliable product.
1. Application of SafebrellaDUO
The umbrella/stick combination is delivered with an adapter. It is bolted to the stick; on the adapter is the wooden handle. Both
parts are only loosely screwed on in supplied condition.
Determine whether the SafebrellaDUO has the right height for you. If it is too high, you have the option by removing the
adapter to reduce the height of 3 cm in the following way:
Open the umbrella, just as you are accustomed by pushing the slider upwards until it stops. It is self-locked. Now at the lower
end of the grip a little ball knob is visible. With one hand hold the umbrella while depressing the button. With the other hand
touch the upper handle and pull out the walking cane. Lay the open or closed umbrella aside. With one hand touch the adapter,
unscrew the handle with your other hand and then the adapter from the stick. Then screw the handle back on the stick. Now
control if height of the stick is adjusted properly and the handle is tightened enough. To control the stick height you do not need
the umbrella for it, because for both parts, stick and umbrella are always almost identical in length with or without the adapter.
Should the stick be connected with the umbrella again, it requires only a swift insertion, for this it is not necessary to press down
the ball knob extra! If the hole in the umbrella is not reached immediately, rotate the stick a little bit until the button
automatically arrested.
If the stick height it too short even with the supplied adapter, a second adapter can be screwed. This is optional available with
extra cost.
PLEASE NOTE:
The ball knob is designed exclusively for easy and quick connection of walking cane and umbrella, but not as interlock support
for strong screwing. Therefore, always pull out the walking cane first and proceed as described before!
Tip:
After rain, always stretch the umbrella to dry (not in the sun)!
Are the rubber pads of stick and umbrella once worn down, you can buy more in your shop as spare parts.
Note: even without the umbrella the light and elegant cane is stable, because the load capacity is conform to CE standard and up
to 100 kg!

5. Warranty and Liability
You have purchased a high-quality Ossenberg product. If you have a justified complaint, despite highest quality standards in our
manufacturing, we are entitled, at our discretion – within a 12 month warranty period - to repair the defective product or to
replace it with an immaculate one.
Please note that for our products, especially custom made products, stricter legal regulations do apply. We cannot assume
liability for damages resulting from modifications made to our products.
Not covered by the warranty are damages resulting from ordinary wear and tear or inappropriate use. Wearing parts are
excluded from warranty.
