dukt aus unserem Haus. Damit Sie recht lange viel Freude mit diesem Produkt haben, und es Ihnen hilft, den Alltag
zu erleichtern, überreichen wir Ihnen dieses Handbuch.
Es zeigt Ihnen die korrekte und einfache Bedienung und - wenn auch in sehr geringem Maße - die erforderliche Pege
und Wartung.
Um Beschädigungen auf Grund von Bedienungsfehlern zu vermeiden und eine optimale Nutzung zu ermöglichen,
lesen Sie bitte sorgfältig die nachfolgenden Anleitungen bzw. Hinweise.
Ergeben sich darüber hinaus Fragen oder tauchen Probleme auf, wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Fachhändler.

Verwendungszweck - Indikation
(Quelle: Hilfsmittelkatalog u. Hilfsmittelverzeichnis der Krankenkassen, BRD)
Bei der Versorgung mit Sitzschalen und modularen Sitzsystemen sind Fahr- bzw. Untergestelle für den Innen- und /
oder Außenbereich obligatorisch.
Sie dienen der Mobilität und dem Transport von Behinderten.
Das ZIMMERUNTERGESTELL KIMBA für den Innenbereich ist speziell für die Aufnahme von orthopädischen Sitz-
systemen (z.B. Sitzschalen) entwickelt und zwecks optimaler individueller Anpassung vielfach ver- bzw. einstellbar.
Entsprechende Einstellarbeiten sind zur optimalen Anpassung an das jeweilige Sitzsystem notwendig und werden nur
durch den orthopädischen bzw. Reha-Fachhandel vorgenommen.
Haftung
Der Hersteller haftet nur, wenn das Produkt unter den vorgegebenen Bedingungen und zu den vorgegebenen Zwecken
eingesetzt wird. Der Hersteller empehlt das Produkt sachgemäß zu handhaben und entsprechend der Anleitung zu
pegen.
Für Schäden, die durch Bauteile und Ersatzteile verursacht werden, die nicht vom Hersteller freigegeben wurden, haftet
der Hersteller nicht. Reparaturen sind nur von autorisierten Fachhändlern oder vom Hersteller selbst durchzuführen.
CE-Konformität
Das Produkt erfüllt die Anforderungen der Richtlinie 93 / 42 / EWG für Medizinprodukte. Aufgrund der Klassizierungs-
kriterien für Medizinprodukte nach Anhang IX der Richtlinie wurde das Produkt in die Klasse I eingestuft. Die Konfor-
mitätserklärung wurde deshalb von Otto Bock in alleiniger Verantwortung gemäß Anhang VII der Richtlinie erstellt.
Aufbau und Funktion der Grundversionen
Die in dieser Anleitung gemachten Hinweise auf Graken und Positionen des Bildteils lesen sich folgendermaßen:

Auspacken und Aufstellen
In der Originalverpackung nden Sie folgende Komponenten vor:
• Fahrgestell
• Anleitung und benötigtes Werkzeug
• Schiebebügel (Zubehör)
Nach Entfernen der Transportsicherungen und Verpackungen gehen Sie bitte folgendermaßen vor:
• Montieren Sie die Aufnahme mit den beiden Schrauben (2/D) so an den Basisrahmen, daß die Bohrung für
die Stativfeder (2/C) in Fahrtrichtung links ist.
• Stecken Sie nun den Einschub mit gedrückter Stativfeder so in die Aufnahme, daß die Kippverstellung bei
Modell 2231 / 2241 nach vorne zeigt (1/A), bzw. bei Modell 2233 / 2243 nach hinten zeigt (1/B).
Bei Verwendung des Schiebebügels verschrauben Sie zusätzlich die Schiebebügelaufnahmeplatte mit den mitgelieferten
längeren Schrauben und Distanzstücken. Montieren Sie die Schiebebügel-Aufnahme auf der Seite des Grundrahmens
an der die Teleskoprohre eingesteckt werden.
Nach Festdrehen aller Verschraubungen kann nun eine “Multifunktionale Sitzeinheit” (KIMBA) oder mittels eines Sitz-
schalenträgers eine individuell angepaßte Sitzschale auf das Zimmeruntergestell montiert werden.

Abnehmen und Aufsetzen der Sitzeinheit von Untergestellen
Zum Transport des Reha-Kinderwagens im PKW oder um das Gewicht beim Heben auf zwei Hebevorgänge zu ver-
teilen, läßt sich der Sitz vom Untergestell leicht lösen.
Dies ist auch dann von Bedeutung, wenn der Sitz auf einem Zimmeruntergestell als Innenraumversorgung und auf
einem Straßengestell als Straßenversorgung zum Einsatz kommt und somit leicht umsetzbar sein soll.
Zu diesem Zweck treten Sie rechts ( in Fahrtrichtung ) neben die Sitzeinheit. Halten Sie den Sitz mit einer Hand am
Rückenteil im Kopfbereich fest.
Ziehen Sie nun den gewinkelten, unter dem Sitz bendlichen Ausrückhebel mit dem Griff zur Fußbankanlage hin.
Die Halteklaue gibt nun die Sitzaufnahme frei. Kippen Sie den Sitz gut 45° nach hinten und heben Sie ihn dann nach
oben heraus.
Um den Sitz wieder auf das Untergestell aufzusetzen, halten Sie den Sitz wie beschrieben und setzen Sie die Arre-
tiereinheit im Winkel von ca. 45° zuerst auf das jeweils hintere Rohr der Sitzaufnahme auf. Nun brauchen Sie die
Vorderkante des Sitzes nur auf das Untergestell zu drücken, bis die Halteklaue hörbar auf dem vorderen Rohr der
Sitzaufnahme einrastet. Mit kurzem Rucken können Sie den festen Sitz überprüfen.
Verstell- und Anpaßmöglichkeiten
Sitzneigung
Nach Lösen des Klemmhebels (1/A) bzw. (1/B) kann die Sitzaufnahme im Winkel verstellt werden.
Sitzhöhe
Die Sitzhöhe kann nur ohne Belastung eingestellt werden. Dazu die Klemmhebel (2/A) und die zusätzlichen Ma-
denschrauben (2/B) lösen und die Sitzaufnahme in die gewünschte Höhe bringen (maximal bis zum Einrasten der
Stativfeder (2/C)).
Anschließend alle Verschraubungen wieder gut festziehen.
Der Klemmhebel kann, wenn er ein wenig von der Schraube weggezogen wird, im Leerlauf bewegt
werden, um ihn in eine bedienungsgünstigere Position zu drehen.
Bremsen
Zum Schließen der Bremsen die Bremshebel (1/C) mit der Fußspitze nach unten drücken.
Zum Öffnen der Bremsen Bremshebel mit der Fußspitze nach oben ziehen.
Kippsicherung
Das Untergestell muß wegen der zunehmenden Kippgefahr bei Verstellung der Sitzneigung teleskopiert werden. Hier-
zu die Madenschrauben (2/E) lösen und die Hinterrahmen (2/F) bis zum Einrasten der Stativfedern herausziehen.
Anschließend die Madenschrauben wieder gut festziehen.
Schiebebügel
Erleichtert das Verschieben und Rangieren im Innenbereich
Nach allen Einstellarbeiten die zuvor gelösten Verschraubungen wieder gut schließen.
Praktische Hinweise zur Sicherheit und Pege
➜Die maximale Belastbarkeit von 50 kg beachten!
➜Das Anhängen von schweren Taschen o. ä. kann die Stabilität negativ beeinussen.
➜Das Produkt darf nur auf ebenem, festem und horizontalem Untergrund verwendet werden.
➜Lassen Sie den Patienten nie unbeaufsichtigt. Auch dann nicht, wenn er durch Begurtung gesichert ist und die
Bremsen festgestellt sind.
➜Bei sehr weitem Hinauslehnen oder heftigen Bewegungen des Kindes besteht unter Umständen die
Gefahr des Umkippens.
➜Nach allen Einstellarbeiten die zuvor gelösten Verschraubungen wieder gut schließen.
➜Üben Sie zuerst den Umgang mit Untergestell, Sitzsystem und Patient.
➜Alle Rahmen- und Kunststoffteile nur mit milden Reinigungsmitteln säubern.
➜Keine Benutzung im Salzwasser. Vermeiden Sie nach Möglichkeit, dass Sand oder sonstige Schmutzpartikel
die Lagerung der Räder angreifen können.
➜Das Untergestell mit Sitzeinheit nur mit eingerasteten Feststellbremsen abstellen.
➜Sitzeinheiten dürfen nur in Fahrtrichtung montiert werden.

➜Vor Verstellung der Sitzneigung, die Hinterrahmen immer erst bis zum Einrasten der Stativfedern
herausteleskopieren.
➜Höhenverstellung und Teleskopierung der Hinterrahmen darf nur im unbeladenen Zustand erfolgen.

Thank you for selecting the KIMBA (PANDA) Indoor Chassis. Our engineers have designed the high-quality KIMBA
(PANDA) to make your life safer and easier, and we’ve included this manual to help you use and care for this dura-
ble Otto Bock product.
Please read the following instructions to make sure you use this product safely and for its recommended use. If you
have any further questions, or if you have any problems, please contact your specialist dealer. We hope that the KIMBA
(PANDA) meets your expectations and helps to improve your quality of life.
Indications
(Source: Catalogue of aids and list of aids for the health insurance funds, FRG)
It is obligatory for seat shells and seating systems to be equipped with chassis or sub-frames suitable for indoor and/
or outdoor use.
The aim is to provide disabled persons with mobility and transport.
The KIMBA (PANDA) INDOOR CHASSIS is intended for indoor use and has been specially developed to accept
orthopedic seating systems (e. g. seat shells). Its multiple adjustment facilities allow the sub-frame to be optimally
adapted to meet individual requirements.
It will be necessary for appropriate adjustments to be made to adapt the chassis to the desired seating system; this
work should only be carried out by a specialist in orthopedic or rehabilitation appliances.
Liability
The manufacturer’s warranty applies only if the device has been used under the conditions and for the purposes de-
scribed. The manufacturer recommends that the device be used and maintained according to the instructions for use.
The manufacturer is not responsible for damages caused by components and spare parts not approved by the ma-
nufacturer. Repairs must be carried out exclusively by authorised dealers or by the manufacturer.
CE Conformity
This device meets the requirements of the 93 / 42 / EEC guidelines for medical devices. This device has been classied
as a class I device according to the classication criteria outlined in appendix IX of the guidelines. The declaration of
conformity was therefore created by Otto Bock with sole responsibility according to appendix VII of the guidelines.
Set-up and use of basic versions
The references made in these instructions to graphics and items in the illustration section are to be read as follows:

Unpacking and setting up
In the original package you will nd the following components:
• Chassis
• User manual and tools required
• Accessories as ordered
After removing the transport safety snaps and the packaging material, please proceed as follows:
• Using the two screws (2/D), screw the support unit to the base frame in such a way that the aperture for the
spring button (2/C) is on the left side with regard to travel direction.
• Now press the spring button and slide the insert into the support unit tubing so that the tilt adjustment device is
pointing
• forwards, in travel direction, for models 2231 / 2241 (1/A),
• to the rear, against travel direction, for models 2233 / 2243 (1/B).
When using the pushbar, additionally screw the enclosed longer screws and distance pieces to the pushbar retainer
plate. Mount the pushbar retainer on the side of the base frame where the telescoping tubes are inserted.
After tightening all screw connections, a multi-functional seat unit (KIMBA) or, via an interface, an individually adjusted
seating shell can be mounted on the indoor chassis.
For descriptions as to this subject, please refer to the User Manual for the KIMBA Reha Stroller System.
Attaching seating shell to, and removing from, chassis
The seating shell can easily be removed from the chassis for transport or for if you need to divide the KimbaZUG’s
weight into two more manageable loads.
This is also convenient if the seating shell is used with both indoor and outdoor chassis, as the shell can be easily

transferred from one to the other.
To remove the seating shell, step to the right of the seating shell (in driving direction) hold the back of the seat near the
head area with one hand. Now reach beneath the seat and pull the disengaging lever towards the footrest assembly
to release the seat attachment. Tilt the seat by slightly more that 45° to the rear and remove it by lifting upwards.
To remount the seat onto the mobility base, hold the seat as described above and rst put the locking unit at an angle
of approximately 45° on the posterior tube of the seat adapter. Press the anterior seat edge onto the mobility base
until the seat audibly snaps in place. Make sure it’ s secure by giving it a few short jerks.
Possible adjustments and adaptations
Seat angle
After loosening the clamping lever (1/A) or (1/B), the seat support xture can be adjusted in angle.
Seat height
The seat height can be adjusted off-load only. To do so, undo the clamping levers (2/A) as well as the additional stud
screws (2/B) and raise/lower the seat support xture to the desired height.
( Height adjustment is restricted when the spring button locks (2/C). )
After that, rmly re-tighten all screw connections.
The clamping lever can, if pulled away from the screw a little, be moved off-load, thus enabling you to turn it
into a more convenient operating position.
Brakes
To activate the brakes, press the brake lever (1/C) downwards with the tip of your foot.
To release the brakes, pull the brake lever upwards with the tip of your foot.
Anti-tip bracket
The chassis must be lowered due to the increased risk of tipping when adjusting seat inclination. In order to lower
chassis, undo the stud screws (2/E) and pull out the rear frames (no further than the point at which the spring buttons
engage). Then rmly re-tighten the stud screws.
Pushbar
Facilitates pushing and maneuvering indoors.
After all adjustments, retighten the screw connections that have been loosened.
Practical notes on safety and care
➜Please observe the maximum load capacity of 50 kg!
➜Attaching heavy bags or similar may adversely affect stability.
➜Never leave the patient unattended, not even when belts are in use and the brakes activated.
➜After all adjustments, retighten any screw connections that have been loosened.
➜Practice handling of chassis, seating system and patient before use.
➜Clean all frame components and plastic parts using only standard household cleansing agents.
➜Do not use in the sea ( salt water ); if at all possible, do not allow sand or other small particles to get into the
wheel bearings.
➜Park the chassis with seat unit only with the wheel-lock system activated.
➜Seat units must be mounted in travel direction.
➜Before you adjust the tilt of the seat, always lower the rear frame tubing to the point where the spring
buttons engage.

rantire un uso corretto ed una lunga durata nel tempo, vi preghiamo di leggere attentamente le presenti istruzioni d‘uso.
Questo manuale intende esemplicare l‘uso della base per interni nelle attività quotidiane e fornirvi indicazioni su come
effettuare una corretta manutenzione.
Per evitare danni derivanti da un impiego scorretto e trarre il massimo vantaggio dalla vostra base per interni, leggete
attentamente quanto di seguito riportato.
Per eventuali domande che dovessero sorgere dalla lettura del presente manuale e per ulteriori informazioni, rivolgetevi
al vostro rivenditore di zona.
Ci auguriamo che questo ausilio corrisponda alle vostre aspettative e che vi faciliti lo svolgimento delle attività quoti-
diane per cui è pensato.
Campo d‘impiego - Indicazioni
I sistemi di postura modulari sono impiegati per l‘impiego in combinazione con basi per interni o per esterni, che per-
mettono la mobilità ed il trasporto del disabile.
La BASE PER INTERNI KIMBA per uso in ambienti interni è studiata per essere combinata con sistemi di postura e,
grazie alle varie possibilità di regolazione, è facilmente adattabile alle esigenze individuali.
Per un adattamento individuale ottimale sono necessari interventi di regolazione e di adattamento al sistema di postura
prescelto, che devono essere effettuati esclusivamente da personale qualicato.
Responsabilità
La garanzia è valida solo qualora il prodotto venga impiegato agli scopi previsti e alle condizioni riportate. Il produttore
raccomanda di utilizzare correttamente il prodotto e di attenersi alle istruzioni fornite.
Il produttore non è responsabile in caso di danni causati da componenti e parti di ricambio non testate dal produttore.
Le riparazioni devono essere eseguite esclusivamente da rivenditori autorizzati oppure direttamente dal produttore.#
Conformità CE
Il prodotto è conforme agli obblighi della direttiva CEE 93/ 42 relativa ai prodotti medicali. In virtù dei criteri di classi-
cazione per prodotti medicali ai sensi dell’allegato IX della direttiva, il prodotto è stato classicato sotto la classe I.
La dichiarazione di conformità è stata pertanto emessa dalla Otto Bock, sotto la propria unica responsabilità, ai sensi
dell’allegato VII della direttiva.
Costruzione e funzione della versione base
I riferimenti sui graci e le posizioni nelle illustrazioni della presente istruzione d‘uso, si leggono come segue:

Disimballaggio e montaggio
Nell‘imballaggio originale trovate i seguenti componenti:
• Telaio
• Istruzione ed attrezzi per il montaggio
• Accessori, come dall‘ordine dell‘utente
Dopo aver rimosso i fermi per il trasporto e l‘imballaggio, seguite le indicazioni qui di seguito riportate:
• Montate l‘attacco sul telaio della base ssandolo con le due viti (2/D) in modo che i fori per la molla (2/C)
vengano a trovarsi a sinistra rispetto alla direzione di marcia.
• Infilate ora l‘inserto con la molla premuta nell‘attacco, in modo che l‘inclinazione sia regolabile nei
modelli 2231 / 2241 in avanti (1/A), e nei modelli 2233 / 2243 all‘ indietro (1/B).
Se utilizzate il manubrio, avvitate la piastrina di supporto del manubrio con le viti più lunghe che trovate
nell’imballo e i distanziatori. Montate la base del manubrio sul lato del telaio principale nel quale vengono inseriti
i tubi telescopici.
Dopo aver stretto bene tutte le viti, può essere montata sulla base un‘ „unità multifunzionale“ (KIMBA) o tramite inter-
faccia, un‘unità di postura adattabile individualmente.
Smontaggio e montaggio dell‘unità sedile dalle basi
Per il trasporto del passeggino in automobile o per ridurne il peso dovendolo sollevare, è possibile smontare l‘unità
posturale dalla base in maniera molto semplice.
La semplicità e rapidità di smontaggio e montaggio sono particolarmente importanti qualora vogliate sostituire una
base per interni con una per esterni. A questo scopo mettetevi a destra del passeggino (in direzione di marcia) accanto
all‘unità posturale, Con una mano, afferratela per lo schienale nell‘area della testa.

Adesso tirate verso il poggiapiedi la leva di disinnesto situata sotto il sedile. Il gancio di ssaggio libera la base del
sedile. Reclinate l‘unità all‘indietro di ca. 45° e sollevatela verso l‘alto per toglierla.
Per rimontare l‘unità sedile sulla base, afferrate l‘unità come descritto e portate l‘unità di arresto ad un angolo di ca.
45° iniziando dal tubo posteriore della base del sedile. Ora premete il bordo anteriore dell‘unità sulla base, nché non
sentite un chiaro rumore d‘innesto del gancio sul tubo anteriore della base. Vericate di aver effettuato il montaggio
in maniera corretta e sicura.
Regolazioni e adattamenti
Inclinazione sedile
Dopo aver allentato la leva di ssaggio (1/A) o (1/B) potete regolare in inclinazione l‘attacco del sedile.
Altezza sedile
L‘altezza del sedile può essere regolata solo in assenza dell‘utente. A questo punto allentate la leva di ssaggio
(2/A) e le viti a perno (2/B) e portate l‘attacco del sedile all‘altezza desiderata (al massimo no all‘innesto della molla
(2/C)).
Inne riavvitate bene tutte le viti.
Se scostata leggermente dalla vite, la levetta può essere girata a vuoto e sistemata in una posizione per voi
più comoda da azionare.
Freni
Per inserire i freni spingete in basso la leva del freno (1/C) con la punta del piede.
Per sbloccarli, spingete in alto la leva del freno con la punta del piede.
Dispositivo antiribaltamento
Regolando l‘inclinazione del sedile, aumenta il rischio di ribaltamento. Per questo il telaio è telescopico. A tal scopo
svitate le viti a perno (2/E) e slate il telaio posteriore (2/F) no all‘innesto della molla. Inne riavvitate bene tutte le viti.
Manubrio

Al termine di ogni regolazione ricordatevi di avvitare a fondo le viti precedentemente allentate.
Indicazioni pratiche per la sicurezza e la cura dell‘ausilio
➜Attenzione! Il carico massimo è 50 kg!
➜Per non compromettere la stabilità della base, non appendete borse o carichi troppo pesanti.
➜Il prodotto deve essere utilizzato solo su terreni piani, sicuri e orizzontali.
➜Non lasciate mai per nessun motivo il disabile incustodito sulla carrozzina. Non abbandonatelo mai, nemmeno
se l‘avete assicurato con le apposite cinture ed avete azionato i freni.
➜Evitate che il bambino si sporga o muova troppo sul Kimba, in modo da evitarne il ribaltamento.
➜Al termine di ogni regolazione ricordatevi di avvitare a fondo le viti precedentemente allentate.
➜Esercitatevi all‘uso della base e del sistema di postura ed alla gestione del disabile sulla carrozzina.
➜Le parti del telaio e le parti in plastica sono lavabili utilizzando un comune detergente per uso domestico.
➜Non utilizzate la base in acqua di mare. Evitate per quanto possibile che sabbia o particelle di sporco penetrino
nei componenti e in particolare nelle ruote.
➜Ricordatevi che il sedile e lo schienale vanno regolati solo con i freni di bloccaggio inseriti.
➜Le unità sedile devono essere montate solo in direzione di marcia.
➜Prima di regolare l‘inclinazione del sedile, estraete il telaio posteriore no all‘innesto della molla.
➜Le regolazioni del telaio posteriore devono avvenire sempre in assenza dell‘utente.

Prólogo
Con la compra de la base para interiores KIMBA Vd. se ha decido por un producto de calidad de nuestra casa. Para
que pueda disfrutar durante mucho tiempo de este producto y le facilite el día a día, lea detenidamente este manual.
Le mostrará la forma más sencilla y correcta de uso y los cuidados necesarios además del mantenimiento.
Para evitar daños ocasionados por un mal uso y conseguir el máximo provecho, le rogamos que lea detenidamente
las instrucciones de uso y recomendaciones descritas a continuación.
Para más información o consultas, no dude en ponerse en contacto con su establecimiento especializado.
Campo de aplicación - indicación
Durante el tratamiento con órtesis de asiento y sistemas de asiento modulares es obligatorio utilizar bases para
interiores y exteriores.
Sirven para la movilidad y el transporte de minusvalidos.
La base para interiores KIMBA se ha diseñado especialmente para la recepción de sistemas ortopédicos de asiento
(por ejemplo órtesis de asiento) y consta de múltiples opciones para una adaptación optima e individualizada.
Las regulaciones necesarias para una adaptación idónea al sistema de asiento correspondiente se han de realizar
por un establecimiento ortopédico o especializado.
Responsabilidad
El fabricante sólo es responsable si se usa el producto en las condiciones y para los nes preestablecidos.El fabricante
recomienda darle al producto un manejo correcto y un cuidado con arreglo a las instrucciones.
El fabricante no se responsabiliza de los daños causados por componentes y piezas de repuesto que no cuenten
con el visto bueno del fabricante.Las reparaciones sólo se pueden efectuar por parte de minoristas autorizados o
por el mismo fabricante. Este es un producto que previamente a su utilización debe ser siempre adaptado bajo la
supervisión de un Técnico Garante.
Conformidad CE
El producto cumple las exigencias de la directiva 93/ 42 /CE para productos sanitarios. Sobre la base de los crite-
rios de clasicación para productos sanitarios según el anexo IX de la directiva, el producto se ha clasicado en la
clase I. La declaración de conformidad ha sido elaborada por Otto Bock bajo su propia responsabilidad según el
anexo VII de la directiva.
Montaje y funcionamiento de los modelos básicos
Las anotaciones que se realizan en estas instrucciones en los grácos y las posiciones de las imagens se leen del
siguiente modo: (1/A) = Imágen Nº1 / Posición A
Desenvolver y montar
En el envoltorio original encontrará los siguientes componentes:
• Chasis
• Instrucciones y herramienta necesaria
• Accesorios según pedido
Una vez retirados los seguros de transporte y los envoltorios proceda como sigue:
• Monte el receptor con ambos tornillos (2/D) al chasis básico de forma, que el oricio para el resorte (2/C)
indique en dirección de la marcha y encontrandose a la izquierda.
• Introduzca la parte correspondiente manteniendo el muelle presionado dentro del receptor, de manera, que la regulación
de la inclinación en el modelo 2231 / 2241 indique hacia delante (1/A), o en el Modelo 2233 / 2243 indique hacia
atras (1/B).
Al utilizar el manillar de empuje, atornillar adicionalmente la placa para el manillar con los tornillos y piezas distanciadoras
más largas. Montar el receptor para el manillar en el lado del chasis en el que se introducen los tubos telescópicos.
Después de jar todos los tornillos se puede montar una „unidad de asiento multifuncional“ (KIMBA) o mediante un
soporte para órtesis de asiento una órtesis de asiento adaptada individualmente a la base para interiores.
Acoplar y quitar la unidad de asiento sobre bases
Para transportar la silla de niños Reha en un vehículo o para repartir el peso al levantar la silla, el asiento se puede
liberar facilmente de la base.
Esto también es de importancia, si el asiento debe poder intercambiarse con facilidad de una base de interiores para
a una base de exteriores.
Para ello, colóquese a la derecha de la unidad de asiento (en dirección a la marcha). Agarre el asiento con una mano
por la zona de la cabeza del respaldo.
A continuación tire de la palanca abatida, situada en la parte inferior del asiento, manteniendola dirigida hacia el

reposapiés. El gancho de jación liberará ahora el receptor del asiento. Incline el asiento unos 45° hacia atrás y tire
de el hacia arriba hasta extraerlo por completo.
Para colocar el asiento de nuevo sobre la base, coloque el asiento como arriba descrito y coloque la unidad de bloqueo en
un ángulo de aproximadamente 45°, sobre el tubo posterior del receptor del asiento. A continuación sólo tiene que presionar
el canto delantero del asiento sobre la base, hasta que escuche que el gancho de sujeción encaje sobre el tubo delantero del
receptor del asiento. Moviendo el asiento ligeramente puede comprobar que esté jado.
Posibilidades de regulación y adaptación
Inclinación del asiento
Una vez liberada la palanca de jación (1/A) o (1/B), se puede regular el ángulo del receptor de asiento.
Altura del asiento
La altura del asiento sólo se puede regular sin carga. Para ello, liberar la palanca de jación (2/A) y los tornillos
(2/B) adicionales, después colocar el receptor del asiento en la altura deseada (como máximo hasta que el muelle
quede encajado (2/C)).
Finalmente jar todos los tornillos de nuevo fuertemente.
La palanca de jación se puede mover manteniendola en punto muerto y apartándola un poco del tornillo, para
girarla y colocarla en una posición mejor para su utilización.
Frenos
Para bloquear los frenos, presionar la palanca de freno (1/C) con la punta del pie hacia abajo.
Para liberar los frenos, tirar sencillamente con la punta del pie de la palanca hacia arriba.
Antivuelco
La base ha de ser asegurada contra un peligro de vuelco que aumenta al inclinar el asiento. Para ello liberar los
tornillos (2/E) y extraer el chasis posterior (2/F) hasta que queden encajados los muelles. Por último jar de nuevo
los tornillos fuertamente.
Manillar de empuje
Facilita el desplazamiento y el manejo en la zona interior.
Una vez realizadas las regulaciones volver a jar de nuevo fuertemente todos los tornillos.
Recomendaciones prácticas para su seguridad y cuidados
➜Recuerde, que la carga máxima es de 50 kg.
➜Colgar bolsas pesadas u objetos similares puede inuir de forma negativa a la estabilidad.
➜Este artículo sólo se puede utilizar sobre una supercie plana, ja y horizontal.
➜Nunca deje al usuario sin vigilancia. Tampoco, si está jado con cinturones y con el freno bloqueado.
➜Si el niño se vuelca mucho hacia delante o realiza movimiento muy bruscos, existe la posibilidad de que vuelque.
➜Después de realizar todas las regulaciones, volver a jar fuertemente todos los tornillos.
➜Antes de la puesta en marcha, practique el manejo de la base con el sistema de asiento y el paciente.
➜Limpiar todas las piezas de chasis y plástico sólo con detergentes suaves.
➜No utilizar en agua salada. Evite de ser posible, que se introduzca arena u otras partículas de suciedad en los
rodamientos de las ruedas.
➜Dejar la base con la unidad de asiento ja, con los frenos de jación bloqueados.
➜Las unidades de asiento sólo deben montarse en dirección a la marcha.
➜Antes de regular la inclinación del asiento, extraiga los marcos traseros siempre hasta que los muelles queden
encajados en sus oricios correspondientes.
➜La regulación de la altura y de la base del chasis, sólo deben realizarse sin carga.

van Otto Bock Healthcare GmbH.
Deze gebruiksaanwijzing wordt u aangeboden om u dagelijks over een lange periode met veel plezier te kunnen laten
genieten van dit product. Het behandelt de correcte en eenvoudige bediening en het benodigde onderhoud.
Om door verkeerde bediening ontstane beschadigingen te vermijden en het product optimaal te kunnen gebruiken,
verzoeken wij u deze gebruiksaanwijzing zorgvuldig door te nemen.
Mochten er daarna nog vragen zijn, verzoeken wij u contact op te nemen met uw dealer. Tevens zijn wij als leverancier

Toepassingsgebied - Indicatie
Bij de verzorging met zitschalen en modulaire zitsystemen is het gebruik van onderstellen voor binnen- en/of buitenge-
bruik onontbeerlijk. Ze dienen voor de mobiliteit en het transport van minder validen.
Het KAMERONDERSTEL KIMBA, voor het gebruik binnen, is speciaal ontwikkeld om orthopedische zitsystemen op
te nemen (b.v. zitschalen). Door zijn meervoudige aanpassingsmogelijkheden kan het onderstel optimaal aangepast
worden aan de individuele eisen.
De benodigde afstelwerkzaamheden, voor het optimaal passend maken van het onderstel aan het gewenste zitsysteem,
dient te worden uitgevoerd door de orthopedische- en revalidatievakhandel.
Aansprakelijkheid
De fabrikant is uitsluitend aansprakelijk, indien het product wordt gebruikt onder de voorgeschreven voorwaarden en
voor het doel waarvoor het bestemd is. De fabrikant adviseert volgens de daarvoor geldende regels met het product
om te gaan en het op de in de gebruiksaanwijzing aangegeven manier te onderhouden.
Voor schade die wordt veroorzaakt door onderdelen die niet door de fabrikant zijn goedgekeurd, is de fabrikant niet
aansprakelijk. Reparaties mogen uitsluitend worden uitgevoerd door geautoriseerde dealers of door de fabrikant zelf.
CE-conformiteit
Het product voldoet aan de eisen van richtlijn 93/ 42 /EEG betreffende medische hulpmiddelen. Op grond van de
classicatiecriteria voor medische hulpmiddelen volgens bijlage IX van de richtlijn is het product ingedeeld in klasse I.
De verklaring van overeenstemming is daarom door Otto Bock geheel onder eigen verantwoording opgemaakt volgens
bijlage VII van de richtlijn.
Opbouw en functie van de basisuitvoering
De in deze handleiding gemaakte verwijzingen naar guren en posities leest u als volgt:
(1/A) = guur nr. 1 / positie A.
Uitpakken en gebruiksklaar maken
De volgende onderdelen zitten in de originele verpakking:
• Onderstel
• Gebruiksaanwijzing en benodigd gereedschap
• Accessoires, volgens bestelling
Na het verwijderen van de transportbeveiligingen en het verpakkingsmateriaal gaat u als volgt te werk:
• Monteer de adapter met beide schroeven (2/D) zo aan het basisframe, dat de boring voor de statiefveren
(2/C) zich links in rijrichting bevindt.
• Steek de opbouw met ingedrukte statiefveren zodanig in de adapter, dat de kantelverstelling bij model 2231/2241
naar voren wijst (1/A), resp. bij model 2233/2243 naar achteren wijst (1/B).
Wanneer u gebruik wil maken van de duwbeugel schroeft u de opname-unit van de duwbeugel vast met de meege-
leverde extra lange schroeven en afstandstukken. Monteer hiervoor de opname-unit van de duwbeugel aan de zijde
van het basisframe waarin de telescoopbuis wordt gestoken.
Na het vastdraaien van alle schroeven kan een „Multifunctionele ziteenheid“ (KIMBA) of, middels een zitschaaldrager,
een individueel aangepaste zitschaal op het kameronderstel gemonteerd worden.
Ziteenheid monteren of verwijderen van het onderstel
Bij vervoer van de kinderwagen in de auto of om het totale gewicht niet in een keer te hoeven verplaatsen, kan de
ziteenheid in een handomdraai van het onderstel worden verwijderd
Dat is ook van belang als de ziteenheid zowel wordt gebruikt in op een kameronderstel bij verzorging binnenshuis als
op buitenonderstel en dus snel moet kunnen worden overgezet.

Hiervoor gaat u rechts (in rijrichting) van de ziteenheid staan. Houd met de ene hand de ziteenheid aan de rug ter
hoogte van de hoofdsteun vast. Trek met de andere hand nu de geknikte ontgrendelingshendel (onder de zitting) met
de knop in de richting van de voetenbak. De klauw klemt dan niet langer om de adapter. Kantel de ziteenheid ongeveer
450 naar achteren en til deze horizontaal van het onderstel. Houd de ziteenheid vast zoals beschreven en laat hem
eerst met de bevestiging onder een hoek van ca. 450 om de achterste buis van de adapter vallen. U hoeft nu alleen
nog maar de voorkant van de ziteenheid op het onderstel te drukken tot de klauw hoorbaar om de voorste buis van
de adapter klikt. Controleer door de ziteenheid op-en-neer te bewegen.
Verstel- en aanpassingsmogelijkheden
Zithoek
Na het losdraaien van de klemhendel, (1/A) resp. (1/B), kan de hellingshoek van de zitadapter versteld worden.
Zithoogte
De zithoogte kan uitsluitend zonder belasting worden ingesteld. Hiertoe moet u de klemhendel (2/A) en de schroe-
ven (2/B) losdraaien en de adapter op de gewenste hoogte brengen (de hoogste stand is tot aan de borgingen
(2/C). Vervolgens alle hendels en schroeven weer goed aandraaien.
De klemhendel kan, wanneer hij iets van de schroef wordt weggetrokken, vrij worden bewogen, om hem in
een gunstigere bedieningspositie te draaien.
Remmen
Om de buggy op de rem te zetten, drukt u de hendel (1/C) met de punt van de voet naar voren.
Om de buggy van de rem te zetten drukt u de hendel met de voet naar beneden.
Kantelbeveiliging
Het onderstel moet, wegens toenemend kantelgevaar bij verstellen van de adapter, uitgeschoven worden. Hiertoe de
schroeven (2/E) losdraaien en het achterframe (2/F) tot het klikken van de borgingen uittrekken. De schroeven weer
goed aandraaien.
Duwbeugel
Vergemakkelijkt het duwen en manoevreren binnenshuis.
Na elke verandering van instelling de daarvoor losgedraaide schroeven weer goed vastmaken.
Praktische tips voor zekerheid en onderhoud
➜De maximale belasting bedraagt 50 kg!
➜Het belasten van het kameronderstel met bv. een tas kan de stabiliteit in gevaar brengen.
➜Alleen op vlakke, stevige en horizontale ondergrond gebruiken.
➜Verlies het kind nooit uit het oog; ook niet als het onderstel op de rem staat en het kind goed in de gordels is
bevestigd.
➜Omkiepgevaar bestaat ook bij het ver naar buiten leunen en bij heftige bewegingen van het kind.
➜Na elke verandering van instelling de daarvoor losgedraaide schroeven weer goed vastmaken.
➜Leer eerst om te gaan met het onderstel en het zitsysteem met kind.
➜Het frame en de kunststofdelen alleen met milde reinigingsmiddelen reinigen.
➜Vermijd zout water. Vermijd zoveel mogelijk dat zand of andere vuildeeltjes in de lagers van de wielen terecht
komen.
➜Het onderstel met de ziteenheid alleen geremd wegzetten.
➜Ziteenheid uitsluitend in rijrichting monteren.
➜Voor het verstellen van de zithoek, het achterframe altijd eerst uitschuiven.
➜Hoogte-instelling en uitschuiven van het achterframe mag alleen onbelast gebeuren.
