1 Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach auf der
Rückseite des Gerätes.
2 Legen Sie die zwei AAA-Batterien
entsprechend der Polaritätsmarkierungen
ins Batteriefach ein.
3 Schließen Sie das Batteriefach wieder.
Stecken Sie die Temperaturfühler in die dafür
vorgesehenen Öffnungen auf der Unterseite
ihres Gerätes. Achten Sie darauf, dass die
Klinkenstecker fest in der Klinkenkupplung
eingesteckt sind.
Bei nicht Benutzung der Temperaturfühler
die Klinkenkupplungen mit den Plastik-
Kappen schliessen. Falls Wasser oder
Dampf in die Klinkenkupplung eindringen
sollte, kann dies die Funktionalität
beeinträchtigen und zu fehlerhaften
Temperaturanzeigen führen.

Stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihr Modell den

Drücken und halten Sie die [ON/OFF]-Taste für
2 Sekunden, um das Gerät ein- oder auszuschalten.
Wenn das Gerät eingeschaltet ist, erscheinen
folgende Anzeigen auf dem Display:
«FOOD1» (mittlerer Teil des Displays):
Die große Zahl links zeigt die aktuell gemessene
Temperatur des Grillguts.
«SET» zeigt die aktuell eingestellte Ziel-Kerntemperatur.
«OVEN» (oberer Teil des Displays):
Die große Zahl links zeigt die aktuell gemessene
Temperatur des Ofens.
«SET» zeigt die aktuell eingestellte Ziel-Ofentemperatur.
«FOOD2» (unterer Teil des Displays):
Die große Zahl links zeigt die aktuell gemessene
Temperatur des Temperaturfühlers (ohne «OVEN»)
«SET» zeigt die aktuell eingestellte Ziel-Kerntemperatur.
Das Display verfügt über eine Hintergrundbeleuchtung.
Sie können eine beliebige Taste drücken, um die
Beleuchtung zu aktivieren. Wird 15 Sekunden lang keine
Taste gedrückt, schaltet die Beleuchtung automatisch
wieder auf Stromsparmodus.
Um sich mit Ihrem GOURMET CHECK PRO verbinden
zu können muss die iOS oder Android App installiert sein.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass beide Geräte eingeschaltet und
ihre Bluetooth®-Funktion aktiviert ist.
Sobald der GOURMET CHECK PRO eingeschaltet und
in Reichweite ist, wird das Gerät von der App gefunden
und fragt die Verbindung an. Bestätigen Sie diese.
Versichern Sie sich, dass Bluetooth®-Icon auf dem
Display erscheint. Ansonsten drücken Sie auf das
Bluetooth®-Icon um dies zu aktivieren.
1 Starten Sie die App und folgen den Anweisungen
um die Geräte miteinander zu verbinden.
2 Drücken und halten Sie die [ON/OFF]-Taste am
Gerät 2 Sekunden lang, um es einzuschalten.
3 Nun haben Sie sich erfolgreich verbunden.
Vorsicht! der Gourmet Check Pro und das verbundene Mobil-
gerät darf nicht direkt neben dem Grill platziert werden! Ein
Mindestabstand von ungefähr 13cm muss gewährleistet sein.

PFLEGEANLEITUNG

Kappe geschlossen ist, bevor
Sie die Temperaturfühler in die
Spülmaschine geben.

Kappe wieder öffnen und für mindestens
24 Stunden trocknen lassen.

Das mitgelieferte HÄNGE UND
WICKELBAND bietet Ihnen verschiedene
Funktionen. Sie können das Gerät an
ihren Grill hängen 1 oder die Kabel der
Temperaturfühler elegant befestigen 2.

LANZE VERSTAUEN & KABEL AUFWICKELN
Die Temperaturfühler in die dafür
vorgesehenen Halterungen einstecken und
runterdrücken bis es einrastet 1. Das Kabel
der Temperaturfühler kann nun um das Gerät
herum gewickelt werden2.

PROBLEMBEHEBUNG KEINE VERBINDUNG
Keine Verbindung
Wenn die App das Thermometer nicht erkennt oder sich nicht mit dem
GOURMET CHECK PRO verbinden lässt, folgende Schritte befolgen:
• Sicherstellen, dass das Thermometer eingeschaltet ist (Display ist an,
Bluetooth®-Zeichen wird angezeigt)
• Smartphone oder Tablet in der Nähe des Thermometers platzieren
(um in Bluetooth®-Reichweite zu kommen)
• Prüfen, ob die aktuellste iOS oder Android OS Version sowie die
OUTDOORCHEF-App installiert ist
• Sicherstellen, dass Bluetooth®in den Geräte-Einstellungen aktiviert ist
• Smartphone oder Tablet neu starten
Gerät schaltet sich nicht ein
Wenn sich das Thermometer nicht einschalten lässt, folgende Schritte ausführen:
• Neue Batterien einsetzen
• Überprüfen, dass das Thermometer nicht beschädigt ist

• Temperaturfühler vor der ersten Verwendung und nach jedem Gebrauch reinigen
• Nur der Metall-Temperaturfühler und das Kabel dürfen hohen Temperaturen
ausgesetzt werden, jedoch nicht höher als 300°C/ 572º F
• Das Kabel darf keinen direkten Kontakt mit Flammen oder eingeschalteten
Heizelementen im Grill haben
• Das Kunststoffgehäuse mit dem Akku weder Hitze noch direktem Sonnenlicht
aussetzen
• Metall-Temperaturfühler nicht biegen
• Gerät von Kindern fernhalten
• Metallteile während und kurz nach der Verwendung nicht mit blossen Händen

2. Gegebenenfalls muss das Benutzerhandbuch/ Betriebshandbuch die

1 Open the battery compartment on the
back of the device.
2 Insert two AAA batteries according to
the polarities indicated inside the battery
compartment.
3 Close the battery compartment.
Insert the temperature sensors into the ports
provided on the rear of the device. Make sure
that the jack plugs are firmly plugged into the
jack couplings.
If the temperature sensors are not used,
close the jack couplings with the plastic
caps. Any infiltration of water or steam into
the jack sockets may impair the device's
proper functioning and result in incorrect
temperature readings.

GOURMET CHECK PRO.

DOWNLOAD THE OUTDOORCHEF GOURMET
CHECK PRO app from the App Store® or the
Google PlayTM Store.
Make sure your model meets the system
requirements:

Bluetooth®≥4.2
Press and hold the [ON/OFF] button for 2 seconds
to switch the electronic unit on or off. When the elec-
tronic unit is switched on, the display will show:
"FOOD1" (middle part of the display):
The large number on the left shows the current
temperature of the food (as measured).
"SET" shows the current setting for the target
core temperature.
"OVEN" (top part of the display):
The large number on the left shows the current
temperature of the oven (as measured).
"SET" shows the current setting for the target
oven temperature.
"FOOD2" (lower part of the display):
The large number on the left shows the temperature
currently being measured by the temperature sensor
(without "OVEN")
"SET" shows the current setting for the target core
temperature.
The display has background lighting. Press any button
to switch the lighting on. The lighting will automatically
switch to power-save mode if no button is pressed for
15 seconds.
To connect to your GOURMET CHECK PRO, the iOS or
Android app must be installed. Make sure both devices
are turned on and their Bluetooth®function is enabled.
As soon as the GOURMET CHECK PRO is switched on
and within range, the device will be found by the app and
you will see a connection request. Please confirm this.
Make sure that the Bluetooth®icon appears on the display.
Otherwise, press the Bluetooth®icon to activate it.
1 Start the app and follow the instructions
to connect the devices.
2 Press and hold the [ON/OFF] button on the
device for 2 seconds to turn it on.
3 You are now successfully connected.
Attention! The Gourmet Check Pro and the connected
mobile device should not be placed next to the grill!
A minimum distance of about 13 cm must be guaranteed.

HANGING & WRAPAROUND STRAP
The supplied HANGING & WRAP-
AROUND STRAP has various uses.
You can hang the appliance on your
barbecue 1 or elegantly secure the
cables of the temperature sensors 2.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
1 You must ensure that the cover is closed
before you place the temperature sensor in
the dishwasher.

2 After the washing cycle in the dishwasher
has finished, open the cover and leave it to
dry for at least 24 hours.

STOW THE LANCE, ROLL UP THE CABLE
Insert the temperature sensors into the
holders provided and press them down until
they click into place 1. The temperature
sensor cable can now be wrapped around
the device 2.
TROUBLESHOOTING NO CONNECTION
No connection
If the app does not detect the thermometer or cannot connect to the
GOURMET CHECK PRO, follow the steps described below:
• Make sure the thermometer is turned on (display is on,
Bluetooth®icon is displayed)
• Place the smartphone or tablet close to the thermometer (to ensure it is within
Bluetooth®range)
• Check that the latest iOS or Android OS version and the OUTDOORCHEF app
are installed
• Make sure that Bluetooth®is enabled in the device settings
• Restart the smartphone or tablet
Device won’t switch on
If the thermometer does not turn on, follow these steps:
• Insert new batteries
• Check that the thermometer is not damaged

SAFETY INFORMATION
• Clean the temperature sensor before using it for the first time and after each use
• Only the metal temperature sensor and the cable may be exposed to
high temperatures, but not higher than 300°C/ 572º F
• The cable must not come into direct contact with flames or activated
heating elements in the barbecue
• Do not expose the plastic housing with the battery to either heat or direct
sunlight
• Do not bend the metal temperature sensor
• Keep the device away from children
• Do not touch metal components with your bare hands during and shortly
after use (risk of burns)
• Do not wash the device in a dishwasher, however the temperature sensors may
be cleaned in the dishwasher
• Protect the plastic housing from water, moisture and cold
• Do not dismantle the device into its various components

1 Ouvrez le compartiment à piles à
l'arrière de l'appareil.
2 Insérez les deux piles AAA dans le
compartiment à piles en respectant les
polarités indiquées.
3 Refermez le compartiment à piles.
Insérez les sondes de température dans les
ouvertures prévues à cet effet sur la face
inférieure de votre appareil. Assurez-vous que
les fiches jack sont bien branchées dans le
connecteur jack.
Si les sondes de température ne sont pas
utilisées, fermer les raccords jack avec
les capuchons en plastique. Si de l'eau ou
de la vapeur pénètre dans le raccord du
jack, cela peut nuire à son fonctionnement
et entraîner des relevés de température
erronés.

Pour vous connecter à votre thermomètre GOURMET
PRO, l'application iOS ou Android doit être installée.
Assurez-vous que les deux appareils sont allumés et que
leur fonction Bluetooth®est activée.
Dès que le thermomètre GOURMET PRO est allumé
et à portée, l'appareil est trouvé par l'application et
demande la connexion. Confirmez-la.
Assurez-vous que l'icône Bluetooth®s'affiche à l'écran.
Sinon, appuyez sur l'icône Bluetooth®pour l'activer.
1 Lancez l'application et suivez les instructions
pour connecter les appareils ensemble.
2 Maintenez enfoncée la touche [ON/OFF]
pendant 2 secondes pour l'allumer.
3 Vous êtes maintenant connecté avec succès.
MISE EN SERVICE
Maintenez enfoncée la touche [ON/OFF] pendant 2
secondes pour allumer ou éteindre l'appareil.
Lorsque l'appareil est allumé, les messages suivants
s'affichent à l'écran:
«FOOD1», (partie centrale de l'écran):
Le grand chiffre à gauche indique la température
actuellement mesurée sur le barbecue.
«SET» indique la température de consigne à cœur
actuellement réglée.
«OVEN» (partie supérieure de l'écran):
Le grand chiffre à gauche indique la température
actuellement mesurée dans le four.
«SET» indique la température de consigne du four
actuellement réglée.
«FOOD2» (partie inférieure de l'écran):
le grand chiffre à gauche indique la température actuelle
mesurée par la sonde de température (sans «OVEN»)
«SET» indique la température de consigne à cœur
actuellement réglée.
L'écran est rétroéclairé.
Vous pouvez appuyer sur n'importe quelle touche pour
activer le rétroéclairage. Si vous n'appuyez sur aucune
touche pendant 15 secondes, l'éclairage repasse
automatiquement en mode économie d'énergie.
La portée Bluetooth®
peut être affectée par
des facteurs externes.

CORDON D'ENROULEMENT ET DE FIXATION
Le cordon d'enroulement et de fixation
fourni vous offre diverses fonctions.
Vous pouvez accrocher l'appareil à votre
barbecue 1 ou fixer élégamment les
câbles des sondes de température 2.
INSTRUCTIONS D'ENTRETIEN
1 Assurez-vous que le capuchon de
la sonde de température est fermé avant
de la mettre dans le lave-vaisselle.

ôtez le capuchon et laissez sécher au
moins 24 heures.

Pas de connexion
Lorsque l’application ne reconnaît pas le thermomètre ou qu’elle ne se connecte pas au
GOURMET DUAL BT, veuillez suivre les instructions suivantes:
• Assurez-vous que le thermomètre est allumé (l'affichage est allumé, le signe Bluetooth®
est affiché)
• Placer le smartphone ou la tablette à proximité du thermomètre (pour être dans la
portée Bluetooth®)
• Vérifier que les versions les plus récentes d’iOS ou d’Android et que l’application
OUTDOORCHEF sont bien installées
• S’assurer que le Bluetooth®est bien activé dans les paramètres de l’appareil
• Redémarrer le smartphone ou la tablette
L'appareil ne s'allume pas
Si le thermomètre ne s'allume pas, procédez comme suit:
• Mettre de nouvelles piles
• Vérifier que le thermomètre n’est pas endommagé

1 Aprire il vano batterie sulla parte
posteriore del dispositivo.
2 Inserire due batterie AAA nell'apposito
vano secondo la polarità indicata..
3 Richiudere il vano batterie.
Inserire i sensori di temperatura nelle aperture
previste sul lato inferiore dell'apparecchio.
Accertarsi che le spine jack siano saldamente
inserite nell'apposito alloggiamento.
Se i sensori di temperatura non vengono
utilizzati, chiudere gli attacchi jack con
i tappi di plastica. Se acqua o vapore
acqueo penetrano nell'alloggiamento jack,
il contatto può risultare compromesso e
riportare temperature errate.

Accertarsi che il proprio modello soddisfi i requisiti

Tenere premuto il tasto [ON/OFF]per 2 secondi per
accendere o spegnere l'apparecchio.
Quando l'apparecchio è acceso, sul display viene
visualizzato quanto segue:
«FOOD1» (parte centrale del display):
Il numero grande a sinistra mostra la temperatura
attualmente misurata del cibo da grigliare.
«SET»indica la temperatura target interna attualmente
impostata
«OVEN» (parte superiore del display):
Il numero grande a sinistra mostra la temperatura
attualmente misurata del forno.
«SET» indica la temperatura target del forno attualmente
impostata.
«FOOD2» (parte inferiore del display):
Il numero grande a sinistra mostra la temperatura
attualmente misurata del sensore di temperatura (senza
"OVEN")

Il display è retroilluminato.
L'illuminazione si attiva premendo un tasto qualsiasi. Se
non si preme alcun tasto per 15 secondi, l'illuminazione si
spegne automaticamente e si torna alla modalità risparmio
Per connettersi al GOURMET CHECK PRO è
necessario installare l'applicazione iOS o Android.
Assicurarsi che entrambi i dispositivi siano accesi e che
la loro funzione Bluetooth® sia abilitata.
Non appena il GOURMET CHECK PRO viene acceso e
si trova entro il raggio d'azione, il dispositivo viene trovato
dall'applicazione e richiede il collegamento. Confermarlo.
Accertarsi che sul display appaia l'icona Bluetooth®. In
caso contrario, premere l'icona Bluetooth®per attivarla.
1 Avviare l'applicazione e seguire le istruzioni
per collegare i dispositivi insieme.
2 Tenere premuto il tasto [ON/OFF] sul
dispositivo per 2 secondi per accenderlo.
3 Ora il collegamento è stato effettuato con successo.

OCCHIELLO PER APPENDERE O PER IL FISSAGGIO
L'occhiello per appendere o per il fissaggio
in dotazione offre diverse funzioni.
È possibile appendere l'apparecchio al
barbecue 1 oppure fissare elegantemente
i cavi dei sensori di temperatura 2.
ISTRUZIONI DI MANUTENZIONE
1 Assicurarsi che il cappuccio sia chiuso
prima di mettere il regolatore di temperatura
in lavastoviglie.

2 Dopo il ciclo di lavaggio in lavastoviglie,
aprire di nuovo il cappuccio e lasciare
asciugare per almeno 24 ore.

NASCONDERE LA LANCIA E AVVOLGERE IL CAVO
Inserire i sensori di temperatura negli appositi
supporti e premerli verso il basso finché non
scattano in posizione 1. Il cavo del sensore di
temperatura può ora essere avvolto attorno al
dispositivo 2.
RISOLUZIONE DEI PROBLEMI MANCATO COLLEGAMENTO
Mancato collegamento
Quando l’app non riconosce il termometro oppure non si collega con il GOURMET
CHECK PRO, seguire la seguente procedura:
- Accertarsi che il termometro sia acceso (display acceso, il simbolo Bluetooth®
è visualizzato)
• Collocare lo smartphone o il tablet vicino al termometro (per raggiungere la portata
del Bluetooth®)
• Verificare che sia installata la versione iOS o Android OS più aggiornata nonché l'app
OUTDOORCHEF
• Assicurarsi che il Bluetooth®sia attivo nelle impostazioni del dispositivo
• Riavviare lo smartphone oppure il tablet
Il dispositivo non si accende
Se il termometro non si accende, seguire la seguente procedura:
• utilizzare batterie nuove
• Verificare che il termometro non sia danneggiato
