Introducti
1
The smart thermostat makes it easier to control your household temperature. You
can schedule your thermostat working hours so it will work based on your plan.
With a smart thermostat, you will be able to remotely control the temperature
anytime through your mobile phone.
This guide will provide you with an overview of the product and will help you get
through the initial setup.

Hot water button Heating Button

• Return. Return to main interface.
• Time & Date. Press to show time & date on the main interface.
Heating button
• Heating mode. Press to switch among OFF, follow schedule, boost and manual
mode.
• Right button. Use as a right button in the setting pages.
Hot water button
• Hot water mode. Press to switch among following schedule, boost, always ON
and always OFF mode.
• Left button. Use as a left button in the setting pages.
LED status
The LED status gives the following information:
LED status What it means
Flashing in Red Device has not joined a network.
Flashing in Green Device joined a network, heat receiver not connected
No light Device working properly

Set button
• Page switch. Press to switch from different pages.
OK/Away button
• Working mode. Press to switch among following schedule and away mode.
• Confirm changes. Press to select.
Up/Down button
• Change value. Press the up/down button to change the selected value.
Reset button Micro-USB port
Reset button
• Restart thermostat. Use a pin to press the reset button to restart the thermostat.
Micro-USB port
• Debugging. For developer only.

3Get started
Note: Follow the Installation Guide to install the thermostat first.
3.1 To get started, you will need:
A SEG-X3 Gateway.
The mobile app.
3.2 Connect to the gateway’s network
1. Set your gateway to permit joining.
2. The LED indicator of both thermostat and heat receiver will flash in red
indicating they are ready to join the gateway's network.
3. The thermostat and heat receiver will join the gateway's network automatically
and the LED indicator will both flash in green indicating they have sucessfully
joined the gateway.
4. Then the thermostat and the heat receiver will automatically bind with each
other, the LED indicator of the heat receiver will become steady and the LED
indicator of the thermostat will leave when they are successfully bound.
5. Now the network setup is done, you can use your mobile app to schedule your
desired temperature for any time period. Hope you will enjoy the PCT502.

Setting pages
Press the Set button to switch between the setting pages, use the Hot water/
Heating button to select the functions and use the Up/Down button to change the
selected value.
• Time Zone Setup. Change time zone setting.
• Automatic date & Time. Check the system time and date.
• Display Format. To change the format of clock/temperature.
• Brightness Setup. To change the brightness of the LED screen.
• Heating Setup. Set the Boiler type: System boiler (with hot water)/Combi boiler
(without hot water), and Heat source type: Gas, Electric, Oil.
• Schedule Setup. To change the schedule setting.
• Away Setting. To set the target temperature when you are away.
• Device info. check the ZigBee version, the software version and MAC address.
• Reset. Reset the Heating schedule/Hot water schedule/Network/All setting.
