Operating Principle
1. Aligning thecamera

In test modeyou canwork out the optimum exposure angle and the
range of the motion sensor.
1.1 During alignmentconsider whether the use ofthe side motion
sensorsmaybe useful for attaining the desired observation results.
1.2 Alignthecamera asfollows:
Fastenthecamera toatree orsimilar objectataheightof1-2meters
and align the camera in the desired direction. Then moveslowlyfrom
one side ofthetarget area to the other side. Whiledoing this, monitor
the motion display.
1.2.2 Ifthislights up in blue, you have been detected byone of the
activatedside motion sensors. If itlightsup inred, you have been
detectedbythefront motion sensor. In this way, you can work outthe
best alignmentfor the camera.
1.2.3 The motion displayonlylights up when operating modeselector
switch is in the TEST position and one ofthe motionsensorshas
detected movement. During normal operation, there will be noLED
displayinthis area.
1.2.4 Toensure that the camera doesn’t make unwanted recordings of
irrelevant movements, itshouldnot be set up ina sunnylocation or
closetobranches. The detecting range of the sensorsis 80°.And the
recording angle ofthecamera is about 90°.
2. Normalworking mode
In this mode, recordingsare triggered via the motionsensors.
To setlivemode, slidethe operating mode selector switch to the “ON”
position.After15 seconds, the LED of motiondisplaywill go off.

2
Then the camera will starttooperate independentlyand will gointo
standby mode.As soon as anywild animals or similar enter the
detecting range of the side motion sensors, the camera will be
activatedand detectthe motion. If the wild animal keepsmovingto the
detecting range of the central sensor zone, the camerawill start
capturing photos and/or videos(depending on the configuration).
Afterthe wild animal moves out of the detectingrange ofside motion
sensors, the camera switches off and goes backintostandby mode.
3. Night workingmode
3.1 During nightexposures the infrared LEDs onthefrontofthe
camera provide therequired lightfor takingpictures. The range of the
LEDs makes the camerato shooting pictures within 3m-20m.However,
reflective objects can cause overexposure.
3.2 Please note that pictures taken in nightexposures are blackand
white. Whenrecording avideo for a long time, thelowvoltage may
have great influence on the stability of the camera.Soin case of the
lowvoltage, itbetternot torecord in the evening.
Videos/photos/datesoutput
1. TVconnections
The camera cantransfer the videosignaltoan external monitor or the
video input ofatelevision set. Please also followthe instructions of
the respective playbackdevice.
1.1 Open the TV,connectthe TV with the camera through date cable
