Close supervision is necessary when the product is used by or near children. Do not
allow children to use it as a toy.
Do not operate any product with a damaged cord of plug, or after the product
malfunctions.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not immerse or expose the product or flexible
cord to rain, moisture or any liquid other than those necessary for correct operation of
the product.
Never operate electrical appliance in immediate vicinity of water sources.
Switch off or unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
Do not touch the surfaces or the hot plate when in operation.
Do not leave the product unattended when switched on.
This product is for domestic use only.
Ensure the power supply to the socket into which the appliance is plugged, is in
accordance with the rating label on the appliance and that the socket is earthed.
Do not discard any of the packaging until you have checked that you have all of the
parts and fittings required.
Clean the painted surface with a damp soft cloth and mild household cleaning powder.
To clean the circular hot plate can be removed with household cleaning powder. Wait
to cool down before cleaning.
Utensils with convex, concave or uneven bottoms should not be used.
This product is not a toy, and is only to be used for its designated purpose.

How to use your Hot Plate:
Before using your hot plate for the first time, turn the hot plate on the highest setting for 3-5 minutes to
condition the protective coating.
For the most efficient operation of your 1.5kW hot plate, the cooking utensils used should have a solid base
with a diameter of approx. 18-20cm and a maximum of 1.5L. For your double 2.5Kw (1.5kW & 1kW) hot plate,
diameter of the smaller plate of approx. 15-17cm.
Turn the controls to the recommended position marked to achieve the desired temperature:
1. For simmering of delicate foods and thickening sauces
2. Slow cooking
3. For simmering large quantities
4. Shallow frying of meal and pan dishes
5. To bring all dishes to rapid heat
6. To bring all dishes to a boil
Note: the light will go off when the hot plate reaches the selected temperature, and will cycle on and off to
maintain the temperature.
