Plate Temperature
Dials
Before First Use
Before using your hot plate for the first time, we recommend turning the
temperature dials to the highest setting for 3-5 minutes, as this helps protect the
coating. This should be done when there is no cooking utensil on the hot plate.
Temperature Dials
The three dots, followed by the numbers 1-5, indicate the temperature settings
available. The “three dots”means the plate is switched off. Turning the dial through
the numbers increases the heat. To switch the hot plate off, simply turn the dials all
the way back to the three dots symbol until it will no longer rotate.
Usage
1) Put the hotplate on a flat, dry and heat resistant surface.
2) Turn the temperature control dial to off.
3) Insert the plug into the power socket.
4) Turn the control dial to the desired setting. The unit will cycle on and off to
maintain the selected temperature.
5) The indication light at the front of the appliance will turn off when the hot plate
reaches the desired temperature, and the procedure of the heating will stop and
recycle to maintain the temperature.
6) The heating element will begin to heat immediately. Do not touch whilst in use,
the housing surface will be hot.
7) When not in use, unplug the power cord from the wall outlet and allow it to cool
down completely.
