•Allow 12cm of space between the back and sides of the refrigerator, thus allowing the proper air
circulation.

Before Using Your Appliance
•Remove the exterior and interior packing.
•Check to make sure you have the following parts:
2 x Removable shelves
1 x Salad/vegetable bin
3 x Bottle balconies
•Before connecting the refrigerator to the active power source, let it stand upright for
approximately three hours. This will reduce the possibility of a malfunction in the cooling system
from handling during transportation.
•Clean the interior surface and all parts before use.
Food Storage
Refrigerator Compartment
•The shelf positions in the fridge can be adjusted to suit your requirements.
•The temperature varies from one section of the fridge to another. The coldest part is
immediately below the icebox and near to the rear.
•Do not place hot/warm food or liquids in the fridge compartment. Leave this to cool at room
temperature and place it in the fridge, ensuring that is has adequate air circulation.
•Meat and fish that are stored in the refrigerator should be well wrapped and consumed within
one to two days.
•To reduce humidity and the consequence of increased frosting, do not store liquids in unsealed
containers.
Icebox Compartment
•This compartment is designed for production of ice cubes and short-term storage (being three to
four days at most) of some commercially frozen foods.
•The temperature in this compartment does not get cold enough to freeze food safely for long
periods of time and works best when the food is already frozen. This means that the chiller
compartment is NOT a true freezer.
•The chiller door is at risk of breaking if there is an excessive build-up of ice. This part is not
covered under the returns policy. Be sure to defrost when the ice reaches ¼ inch thick.
Thermostat Settings
•To control the initial temperature, adjust the control dial accordingly. The temperature settings
go from ‘1’ to ‘7’, each achieving varying degrees of cooling in both the fridge and freezer
compartments, with ‘7’ being the coldest.
•The recommended default setting is position ‘3’.
•When turning on the refrigerator for the first time, set the temperature control to ‘6’.
•PLEASE NOTE that ambient temperatures (room temperatures), the temperature and quantity
of recently stored food and how often the door is opened will all affect the temperature inside
the refrigerator.
