Oysta Pearl+
Your Pearl+ has an SOS Button, a Fall Detector
and Reminders.
IntellicareTM
Use our smart platform to view the device
location and see alerts, set SafeZones and
Reminders.
Monitoring Centre
The Pearl+ connects to your Alarm Receiving
Centre (available 24 hours per day) or your own
support.

Note:
For your safety it is recommended that you leave
your device on at all times.
How to use
To turn your Pearl+ on hold down the
power button for 2 seconds until the Pearl+
welcome screen appears.
To turn your Pearl+ off hold down the power
button for 2 seconds.

You can use the SOS Emergency
Support button when you need help in
an emergency.
How to use
Just hold down the SOS button until you
see “Support call in progress” appear on
the screen - this means the call is being
made.
Note:
Remain calm. If possible speak clearly
about your situation.
Making an
emergency call

The Fall Sensor makes an emergency call if
it thinks you have had a fall.
Please check with your Oysta provider that
the Fall Sensor is enabled.
How to Use
You don’t need to do anything, it will
automatically try to detect a fall and call for
assistance.
Note:
Don’t worry if it is triggered by mistake, just
tell them you are OK.

The quick-call buttons have
been programmed with contact
numbers as requested.
How to Use
1. Press the quick-call button for
the person you want (1-4 on the
device).
2. press the GREEN dial button to
make your call.
3. Press the RED cancel/end call
button when you have finished.
Note:
To unlock the keypad press the
Power Key once.

Making a phone call

How to use
Plug the mains charger provided
into the indicated socket. You will
see the battery levels on the screen.
You should charge your Pearl+
every day to make sure you always
have power.
Note:
Please take care to place the
charger into the Pearl+ the correct
way up. The yellow colour indication
should be facing up.
Charging your device

There are some additional features of the Pearl+ that you
can request are added to provide additional assistance.
Safe Zones
Create safe zones to monitor movements in and
out of areas at certain times of the day or night e.g create
a zone around the home. When leaving a ‘safe zone’ an
alert can be sent to the care network.
Reminders
Simple messages can be pre-set to send to your
Pearl+ enabling you to remember important tasks and
making it a useful tool to help manage daily living.
Additional features

Check with your service provider about the exact
set up of your Pearl+ device.
Your Pearl+ will display “Emergency” on screen if
there is a problem.
Keep your device clean and avoid unneccesary
knocks or drops.
Your Pearl+ is NOT waterproof, so try not to get it
wet.
Remember to charge your device every day if you
can. Standby time is approximately 72 hours, talk
time is approximately 3 hours.
